The Santa Suit is a feel good romance about a woman that purchases an older home/farm online, sight unseen and finds that the contents of the previous owner have all been left behind.

That's how Ivy discovers the Santa suit and a special letter in the pocket.

I enjoyed reading about Ivy's adventures to track down the people in the letter and her budding romance with her realtor Ezra.

This was cute. It felt rushed at times, especially towards the end, but I anticipated that because it's a short book. I appreciated the different story line for a Christmas book.

I love Mary Kay Andrews’ books. This one did not disappoint! The way she tells a story you feel as if you are sitting next to the characters and part of the story.
A recently divorced, Ivy, buys a farmhouse in a small town without even seeing it. From the minute she moves in the town welcomes her and the story follows her as she immerses herself in her new life. All of this centered around Christmas. It is a great feel good story with a love story thrown in.

I thought this was a sweet, cozy Hallmark style Christmas book and enjoyed reading it! But, I found myself more interested in all the side characters because the romance element felt forced. This absolutely could be a result of being a novella and not having the space to fully flesh out those characters and their story. Overall, it was a sweet Christmas read and I enjoyed the time spent reading it!

I have only read a couple of Mary Kay Andrews' books, and assumed (shouldn't do that, I know) that she was a beach read, summer kind of storyteller. This novella was a pleasant surprise and I'm sure that fans of hers will embrace it as they have all of her other books. It seemed a bit more lightweight than her other books I've read, but it is quite short and delightful nonetheless. It's sort of Hallmark movie-ish, which might put some people off. But it is warm, lightly romantic and just the right amount of Christmas-ness to cheer even the Grinches out there. It was a fun, short read and I think fans and casual readers like myself will enjoy it.

PS I actually DID read this just before Christmas last year and it did add to my Christmas spirit.

I loved this. Mary Kay Andrews does it again, and with a Holiday twist. So heartwarming. I wished for two books from this author last year and by Christmas miracle, she delivered.

Super cute book. Loved the whole thing. It takes you on a Hallmark movie in a book. Wonderful characters that grow as the story moves.

Mary Kay Andrews knocks it out of the park again! We read this book for our book club in December and it didn't disappoint. I loved the story line, and was surprised to find a little mystery entertwined as well. Andrews is known for her incredible writing style and I enjoyed this one just as much as I have her other books.

A perfect Christmas story worthy of a Hallmark movie! You can laugh and cry and be happy for all. An excellent book to lift ones' spirits! The characters come alive on the page as does the country side and the small town feel. No detailed bookreport from me, read the cover for the storyline. Read the book and get your Kleenex ready for happy tears!
I was provided this book as an advanced reader copy and was under no obligation to write a review. The opinions expressed are my own.
Many many thanks to the author, publisher and Net Galley for allowing me to read this book.

I received this holiday novel as an advanced reader copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I always enjoy Mary Kate Andrew novels when I’m looking for a quick, light hearted read. The main characters are likable and relatable with good chemistry.

Talk about a holiday tear-jerker! Yep, I read this in February and was totally reliving those fantasies of found family, cozy snow days by the fire, and dreaming of love I didn't think I'd find, and definitely catching a tear or two rolling down my cheek. Andrews has a knack for the whimsical and heartfelt, and this novella gives that and more, our MC, Ivy, is connectable as a recent divorcee trying to start over and leave the pain behind, all before the Christmas holiday. This one is for fans of Lifetime movies, that need a reminder life is what you make of it, and a little goodwill goes a long way.

The Santa Suit is an adorable "Hallmark" movie in book form. Small town romance, snowy setting, and a special Santa suit, Ivy Perkins buys the Four Roses farm off a website. What she didn't know it included a few surprises including a Santa suit that Bob Rose wore where every Christmas and he kept all the letters the local kids write along with the photos the kids took with Santa. This leads to Ivy on a hunt to find a certain little girl in a photo left in Santa's pocket from many years ago. She has a hunky realtor/neighbor/handyman in Ezra, she meets sweet Everett and she starts to become friends with several locals. I really enjoyed this story. I had a hard time putting the book down and I became absorbed into the story. I could see the deep snow, the candy store and the pretty lights on the farm. The Santa Suit is such an enjoyable read and I loved that I read it at Christmas time.

This started out rough for me, but by the end I enjoyed this book. I love Mary Kay Andrews and even though I usually lean towards thrillers and suspense…I love her romances. The Santa Suit bordered on corny for me, but came around in the end to be a cute corny. I enjoyed it, but the shorter novella length was enough for me.

While not my normal type of read, I really enjoyed The Santa Suit. A perfect quick, holiday read. Reminded me a lot of a Hallmark movie.

Always love me a Mary Kay Andrews book. But this one just felt rushed with an extremely predictable story line. There was no real plot development or character development. For instance, after reading the book, I still have no idea what Ivy, the main character looks like, how old she is or what her hobbies and interests are. It almost seems as if all of a sudden MKA realized that she was at 90% of her target word count so just tried to tie up her loose ends and forgot about trying to pull a plot together. That doesn't mean I won't read her next one and the one after that lol.

Love this sweet story! MKA delivers again! I love how she brings people together in small town communities especially at Christmas time!

I was really surprised by this book. I knew it would be wonderful but I loved the freshness of the story and the solving of the mystery. I couldn't see where we were going and that meant I didn't dare put it down. :)

This was a fun, lightweight, cute Hallmark movie book that was perfect for Christmas. Nothing too heavy or deep, but also no violence or dark events or character, which I appreciated. Fun book!
