Perfect Hallmark Christmas movie equivalent that will be a quick pick me up after a slump of a book.

I loved all of the characters and enjoyed the ending. Yes it’s cheesy, but it was just what I needed at the time.

Just a few things I could’ve gone without: catfishing, old men being creepy and sexist

This was a super quick read that I read in 2 sittings. It was a very light-hearted book that I'm sure could easily be made into a Hallmark Christmas movie. When I started reading, I knew I would feel some cute, holiday warm fuzzies, and that was exactly what I was looking for. There's an additional plot line in the book thanks to some uncovered letters to Santa that give this book more depth. If you're wanting something light and heart-warming to read around the holidays, this is right up your alley.

this was a fun holiday romance that I really enjoyed. The characters were fun and the story was sweet. Of course well written as all her stories are.

This is the perfect book for this time of year! Once again, Mary Kay Andrews knows how to set the stage and deliver a great story. "The Santa Suit" is a cute romance about a woman trying to find her independence after her divorce. The old farmhouse and the town of Tarburton had as much charm as our cute real estate agent. The story was just sweet enough and had lovable and quirky side characters. Of course, everything at the end was tied up in a beautiful red bow, but that is just what you would expect from a story like this. Keep them coming, Mary Kay Andrews!

This little Christmas story made me feel like I was watching a Hallmark Christmas movie, complete with every cheesy Christmas movie cliche I can think of.....in a good way. I could just picture Candance Cameron Bure as Ivy. I even had a few of the other characters selected from the typical Christmas movie cast. I saw every twist (except the end one) coming, but who doesn't in a movie/book like that. It's the charm of a Hallmark-Christmas-movie-like book. For someone who enjoys this kind of predictable, feel good story, you'll love it. It's not my cup of tea always, but it was a nice little jaunt into the magic of Christmas.

Super cute quick holiday read. Perfect for all the Hallmark Channel lovers. I loved the small town Gilmore Girls vibe and really loved how it all came together! All the characters were really great and i enjoyed getting to know them. It really is the perfect read for the holiday season. I do wish it was a bit longer though. I felt like everything came together at the end and then it just stopped! I wanted more! I absolutely loved how everything connected at the end. So heartwarming. I would recommend to anyone!

This book by Andrews was cute and heartwarming. It wasn't my favorite book because of its predictable ending, but it was a nice novella to read right before Christmas. I liked the idea of the Four Roses Farmhouse and the characters were interesting. For a novella, it was cute, and I give it three stars. To be fair, though, I don't usually enjoy novellas that much because I like longer books.

This book was given to me for my honest review.

This Christmas gem was a super quick read that helped get me in the holiday spirit. I have always been a fan of Andrew's seasonal books and this one didn't disappoint. It took a bit for the leading lady and newly-divorced Ivy Perkins to win me over. She starts off with quite a bit of a chip on her shoulder, but the town along with her hunky real estate agent help thaw her chill and prime her for some real holiday cheer.

It all starts with the previous homeowners and their love of Christmas, a Santa suit and a mysterious letter from a child written in the 1960s. Ivy can't help but try to piece it together and along the way she gets to know the town, its people and their traditions. It's a great story that will move your right into wanting to decorate, bake sweets and attend holiday functions.

Use this short sweet Christmas present to put you in the mood for all things red and green. You will be joining the neighborhood carolers and hearing sleigh bells galore. Thank you to Netgalley, St. Martin's Press and the ever amazing Mary Kay Andrews for an advanced reader's copy in exchange for my fair and honest review. Solid 4/5

As always, MK Andrews delivers a great story! This was a perfect read during the holiday season. I felt transported to the farm house and could imagine walking the streets of town. This I where you want to spend Christmas. Loved it and knew I would.

Sweet story that was a little slow moving at times, but had a beautiful message. The threads that the santa suit wove between past and present were lovely, and the town was a great backdrop for the holiday story.

If any book can get you in the Christmas spirit, it’s going to be this one!! It puts the “merry” in Merry Christmas and I literally want to move to this town!! It’s romantic with a bit of fun mystery, and reminiscent of a Hallmark movie!!

This was a great cozy Christmas story and perfect for reading by the fire, with the Christmas lights on, with a hot cup of tea. The story was cute and I loved the relationships Ivy formed in the small town she moved to. There were a few things that were a bit silly, but those things didn't take away from the story too much. I liked how things connected and tied up at the end. A great Christmas read!

My Thoughts: Reading a Mary Kay Andrews book is like spending some cozy time with a good friend. She always tells a good story and captures my attention. This one was no exception, and I loved the sweet Christmas story. Although I'm writing this after Christmas, if you are still in the mood, read this quick book. If not, be sure to put it on your list for next year, and you won't be disappointed.

A sweet, character driven Christmas read bound to appeal to lovers of Sheila Roberts, Debbie Macomber and the entire Hallmark-loving set.

Ivy Perkins buys a farm house in the small town without seeing it. When she arrives just before Christmas the home and farm isn't as picturesque as she imagined but more run down. The town referred to Four Roses Farm as the Christmas House because of all the decorations. All of their stuff was left behind and Ivy finds an old Santa suit.

This was just such a sweet story for the holidays, filled with cookies, hot chocolate, and love and renewal of relationships and new ones forming. It was a bit predictable but that is the magic of Christmas.

I would like to thank Netgalley and St. Martin's Press for providing me with my copy of this book.

This was the perfect read for the holiday season. The sweetest story that I could definitely picture as a movie! I loved the relationships that the main character had. And of course the magical element of the Santa suit found in the attic.

A great Christmas read! Mary Kay Andrews delivered a delightful gift with this book. Ivy had lost the joy of Christmas.. Buying the farmhouse and making it her home brought her back to enjoying life and Christmas. The santa suit found in a box was a redeemer for both Ivy and Ezra. Ivy's venture touched the lives of many. Bringing joy to others is what Christmas is all about!
