This is an awesome cookbook by Trisha Yearwood! Love all her recipes in each of the recipe categories! She presents a wide variety of dishes, that are not at all complicated, and are absolutely delicious! I want to continue to try them all! She includes with her recipes, stories about her family and friends, that inspires her cherished recipes! The photographs of the dishes are beautiful, each, which inspires us to make these dishes for our family and friends! Congratulations, Trisha! Thank you Netgalley for an early copy of Trisha Yearwood's new cookbook, Trisha's Kitchen.

Trisha Yearwood has returned with a new cookbook full of southern charm and comfort foods for the whole family. She covers the gambit with the usual (breakfast, lunch and dinner) with a splash of fun options (preserves, breads including a sourdough starter and veggie delights). Each recipe has a short introduction, an ingredient list and very simple easy to follow instructions. While she does have a good selection of southern favorites (biscuits and fried green tomatoes, collard greens and tamale pie) she does introduces some unique and exciting ideas (breakfast lasagna, collard-stuffed wontons or beef moussaka). Almost ever recipe has a featured photo of the finished dish, these photographs are enticing and beautifully executed. Overall this is a delectable cookbook full of fun easy recipes that are sure to inspire every home chef.

Trisha's Kitchen is a down home cookbook that contains the recipes you like when you want to show love and comfort. Overall, I liked her cookbook although the recipe titles are an odd green color making it difficult to read. Hopefully, this will be fixed before final publication. I loved reading the family stories and seeing the family photos. The food photos were fabulous and I truly wanted to whip up a few recipes based on the yummy color food photos.

Some of the recipes you'll find include:

Garth's Teriyaki Bowl
Crispy Rice Corn Fritters
Hard Cider Cheese Soup
Peanut Butter & Roasted Banana Pudding
Coconut Cream Pie

Recommend.

I have been a Trisha Yearwood fan for most of my 28 years on this earth. When I stumbled upon her cooking show a couple years ago, I was hooked. The family and friends aspect, the comfort foods, the easy to find ingredients. It was everything I loved in a cooking show. Which brings us to this cookbook, Trisha's Kitchen. Basically, it brought what makes the show so good into cookbook form! This comfort food book (don't be coming expecting some whole 30 weight-loss) has beautiful pictures, stories for each recipe that compliment what you are about to make/eat and a variety that can be made from the just beginning to cook home chefs to the more advanced home chef. There is something for everyone. There are also helpful "Trisha's tips" and substitutions if you are short on a certain ingredient or trying to figure out measurements.
I cannot wait to get my hands on the physical copy when it's published and would highly recommend as a staple in everyone's kitchen.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for my honest review.

Trisha has a way with cooking and hosting that simply intrigues me. I love it. This cookbook is great. Tons of awesome recipes and tips for hosting. This cookbook is beautiful. The pictures are gorgeous, the stories are heartwarming. It feels like you're at her house cooking with her. I look forward to making a bunch of these recipes.

A wonderful collection of recipes that I will definitely add to my collection. TRISHA’S KITCHEN starts out with a Forward by Trisha’s husband, Garth Brookes. His love for his wife, and her cooking shine through. Next is the author’s lovely introduction, which is followed by a short, but useful section on equipment, & substitutes that will make your cooking experience easier and more enjoyable. Great photo's and wonderful directions to make each recipe delicious. If you are looking for some true comfort food recipes, this is the cookbook for you! It was well organized, and the instructions were very clear. I also appreciated the substitutions page at the beginning of the book. There was a nice mix of easy and more advanced recipes, so anyone can find something to make. I will definitely be making the Grandma's Sky high biscuits. Since calories don't count in the South and in Southern cooking they are not part of this cookbook. This is a great cookbook for comfort foods and with the pictures and beautiful forward by Garth and the introduction by Trisha this book will feel like part of your family as well.

I requested and received a temporary digital Advance Reader Copy of this book from #NetGalley, the publisher and the author in exchange for an honest review.

This book is like a warm hug. The recipes are inviting and comforting. They are easy and well written. They can be adapted to a cleaner way of cooking or just enjoyed as is. The stories that accompanied the recipes were engaging and entertaining.

I loved this cookbook! There are so many recipes that I want to try. I did make the blueberry pie bars and they were a hit at our July4th celebration. Everyone wanted to have the recipe! I even substituted a gluten free flour so that I could eat them. Amazing!

Let me just preface this by saying that I love a good cookbook! I love to sit down at night and read recipes and envision and plan meals to feed both my family and friends. Honestly, for me reading the recipes is as much fun as cooking the meal. Imagine my surprise and delight when I stumbled upon Trisha's Kitchen. It is filled with stories about each recipes origin, easy to follow recipes and beautiful photos of the finished product. After reading it, you feel like you have been sitting down with your friend Trisha in her kitchen swapping recipes. Just a beautiful book, that happens to be a cookbook. I can't wait to start cooking!

I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

I have been watching Trisha's show on the Food Network for quite some time and I have always loved her recipes. I saw that she had a new cookbook coming out and I got excited to be able to try some of the recipes. I'm so glad that I was able to review it because Ii was able to make a few of the recipes at home. A few of our favorites were the Chipotle Chicken Taco Stuffed Potato Skins, Bacon Straws (because who doesn't love bacon) and Jack's Fried Pies. I can't wait until this book is out so I can get my dad this cookbook for him to make some of this amazing food too. I highly recommend this book to all those who love to cook good southern comfort food.

This cookbook is rife with some good ol’ comfort food recipes. I want to order a copy for my collection but don’t think I could cook from it every day without gaining a zillion pounds. They are “accessible” recipes for the most part containing nothing too exotic and a lot of pantry basics, presented with a down home twist and glimpses into the Yearwood/Brooks home. I loved the photography and layout.
