One night in a dark alley could have ended her life. Instead, one night ended with an address and a key to return in two years time. Could the wild thrill seeking, pleasure lover Indy return for more?

Stefan Romanescu is dark and dangerous, the last man Indy should be with, especially when he almost killed her. With only a key and a memorized address will she show up? What will she do when she discovers what he has been doing those two years?

One night. One month. Will it be enough to satisfy her cravings and leave him only wanting her?

An inferno read that is filled with promises, rules, and turkish coffee.

Contains BDSM content.

I received an ARC of this book to read through NetGalley. All opinions are my own. Just One More Night by Caitlin Crews is the second book in her Summer Seductions series. Indiana March is a wild child whose sense of adventure leads her into a steamy encounter with the dark and dangerous Stefan Romanescu. Two years later, she’s back in Europe and excited to find out if that mysterious stranger is all that she’s been fantasizing about ever since that chance meeting. Dark and steamy, I found this book to be the perfect escape read and highly recommend it. Steam Level: Quite Steamy. Publishing Date: May 25, 2021. #JustOneMoreNight #CaitlinCrews #HarlequinDare #HarlequinRomance #ContemporaryRomance #bookstagram #bookstagrammer

Two years ago, free-spirited Indie wandered into a dark alley in Budapest. What happened next changed her life.

Now, she's traveling to Prague to meet up with Stefan again, to see if the deep attraction between them that night is still there.

She falls into an intense affair that's the opposite of what she thinks she wants, but that might be exactly what she needs.

Caitlin Crews is a pro at writing deeply emotional stories that reach inside and turn you inside out. This gritty, ultra-steamy story features a controlling, dominant hero and a heroine who doesn't realize her wanderlust is a symptom of how lost she is.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Caitlin Crews is a pro when it comes to writing steamy reads, and the soon to be defunct, Harlequin Dare imprint is and has been a perfect vehicle for her talents. Just One More Night is sizzling hot from the get go, and the heat doesn't let up from beginning to end, but more than heat, this novel is, at its heart, a character study of her two principle characters, Indiana (Indy) March and Stefan Romanescu, and as such, is an interesting and intriguing read, and it gets 4 stars from this reader.

Indy March is a 20-something, party girl to the nth degree. Her older sister, Bristol, is the smart, driven and accomplished sister. Indy is the gadabout, traveling from place to place around the world and having fun. In fact, it seems that fun is all she's about. Traveling with only a small knapsack, she doesn't get attached to anything or anyone, including the many men she's encountered who are generally one and done. No deep friendships either, no job she won't take if she's in need of cash, from waitress, to office temp to stripper. Once something ceases to be fun for her, she's off to a new place, new sex partners, new experiences, and, being a born nester myself, I had a hard time understanding or liking her from the outset. Perhaps it's because I'm a senior citizen, addicted to reading and learning, and have never been into meaningless hookups, I couldn't imagine wanting her chosen lifestyle, but that's about to change.

One night after partying at an after hours club in a not too savory corner of Budapest, Indy steps outside for some fresh air, starts wandering the dark alleys near the club and ends up on the ground with a gun to her head, facing 3 additional evildoers, and wondering if she'll live to see another day. The man holding the gun is Stefan, a big, tough, mountain of a man, who spirits her away from the 3 dangerous thugs, and, shortly thereafter, Stefan puts her in his car, and she's she soon having wild, unprotected sex with her rescuer--a total stranger and confessed criminal. Yes, insta-lust happens, and it happens in a major way between these two, but it had me realizing just how naive and reckless Indy really was.

When the two part the next day, Stefan tells her that he wants to meet her again in 2 years, and gives her a time and place to meet in Prague, and even a key, and while meeting Stefan has Indy voluntarily toning down, but not entirely abandoning, her preferred fun lifestyle, she's eagerly awaiting and near obsessed about reconnecting with this dark, mysterious and sexy stranger. It's when she does just that, shows up at his villa 2 years later at the appointed time, expecting another one-night stand, that this novel becomes a more interesting and addictive read, as these two characters butt heads and Stefan challenges Indy's chosen lifestyle, all about fun but not about depth or connections, and it's when Stefan tells Indy that he doesn't want another one-night stand with her, and gets her to agree to spend one month together at his villa, that we begin to understand them both, and Indy begins to understand her motivations, and although we never really learn exactly what kind of criminal activity Stefan was involved in, Stefan challenges Indy to seek meaning in her own life, but I do wish Ms. Crews had told us his age, because he's so much older and wiser than young Indy.

I truly enjoyed how these characters grew and changed over the course of this novel, which in many ways, caused this reader to examine her own life choices and and answer the question that Indy posed to herself--was she happy, and did she even know what happiness truly is? While I didn't expect a Dare romance to be as thought provoking as this one, I'm so glad Ms. Crews delved deeply into the psyches of her protagonists, and made us examine our own commitments and values. If you can handle the often rough sex of this couple, you're in for one moving, intense and character driven read, and I'm happy to recommend it.

I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this novel. The opinions expressed are my own.

Thanks to Netgalley for the digital ARC for my honest review!

This one is a steamy novella. And among all the steamy novellas I've read, this one stands out with better and more developed characters. The heroine's independent, know what she's doing and very likable. It's a quick read and actually very engaging. I read it through one setting and ended up wanting to read more by this author.

Definitely would recommend it to steamy romance book lovers.

The story sounded like it would be better than it was...the author tried very hard to make the heroine authentic but she just didn't come off that way for me. Her style of living life just to have fun was irresponsible and I'm not sure it was realistic that she would have gotten as far as she did without any major troubles. And the hero took way too long to really reveal his back story if he was planning to woo her for a lifelong commitment. DNF.

Both of these characters were unlikeable. The hero came across like a goon and the heroine was so flighty it was amazing she could function. The book wasn't even that steamy.

This novel was a sensual exploration of two people trying to discover who the other person truly is while coming to terms with their insta-love. Caitlin Crews' writing is captivating and well paced. I thought the dialogue and "cat and mouse" type game that the hero and heroine were playing with each other was very well crafted. This book is fully invested in the hero and heroine with very minimal secondary characters. It was truly a character driven novel and I found it to be very engaging with lovely sexy interludes as two people challenged each other to examine their pasts and what they want for the future.

Our heroine-Indy is a carefree spirit. She does not like to get bogged down and stuck in a rut. Because of this she can come off as flighty or someone with little depth or cares, but our hero-Stefan knows that there is much more about her that she fails to let on because she is hiding behind her ideas of "fun". Stefan is a billionaire with a very mysterious past, we never really get a true understanding of what his career was before Indy stumbled into his life but that did not really bug me. Stefan is strong and dominant and wants to challenge Indy into understanding and coming to terms with her true feelings and her wanderlust.

This novel was like reading an adult fairy tale, where love happens instantaneously and two people have the freedom to anticipate spending another night together and that that can bloom into something much deeper. I really enjoyed the set up of this novel, we are two years from the whirlwind of a meeting these two people had. Their initial meeting was very brief but filled with passion and as Indy reminisces we see the build up and anticipation to their reunion. Watching them challenge each other as they explored the other was delightful and I just found this to be a really fun quick read.

I would definitely recommend if you love a fun and fast paced romance that has a lovely balance of sensuality and is a character driven love story.

This is a very Steamy Romance, and this is the second book in the Summer Seductions series. I have not read the first book in this series, but I do not think I was lost because of not reading the first book in this series. Once, I got into this book I really enjoyed this book. I have to say I found the characters very interesting, and they where developed. There was a lot of steamy events in this bed, and I feel they where well done. I did really enjoy the ending of this book. This is a short and quick read. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Harlequin Dare) or author (Caitlin Crews) via NetGalley, so I can give honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that. This book is schedule to be release on May 25-2021.

I liked this book. It was emotionally intense and enjoyable. It was more about the main character, Indy, finding herself. It was very romantic. Like the other book in this duology about the March sisters, it's not quite like the other DARE offerings from this author (those are more... steamy, so to speak), but it's very romantic. 3.5 stars
