It's not often a reader comes across the story of somebody who sued the federal government for a huge amount of money and won, so it was exciting to run across this book. I was fascinated with everything in this book! Clearly Mr. Giovanis was well-prepared for the task he took on, and that evidence is presented throughout the book. Reading this book was a lot like listening to a fourth-grader try to summarize a novel just read. It felt like there was some chronological disconnect which made it hard to follow the events as a whole. There were many "players" who are referenced, many negatively, but it's difficult to tell who they are and where they fit in. I wanted so much more of the "courtroom drama" and less of the comment letter. There was a lot of eluding to some sketchiness on the government's part, but in the end it didn't feel like that played much into the whole picture. There was a LOT of repetition that was overwhelming and unnecessary.
Again, the story as a whole is fascinating and well-developed, but it wasn't executed as well as it could have been.
