Blessings, Georgia, the setting for this series, is a place that makes me homesick for a place I've never been, and Sharon Sala's 12th Blessings, Georgia novel did that to me again. It the imaginary place that makes me run out of adjectives, like: warm, cozy, sweet, sassy, charming, kind, heartfelt, loving, hopeful, and in one scene in this novel, laugh out loud funny--and it's most definitely a 5-star read. If you've now already fallen in love with this series, and it's cast of characters, I suggest you start at the beginning to get to know all the characters firsthand.
This novel picks up on the romance between Wade Montgomery, who has returned to Blessings from Boston, and the girl he's loved since meeting her in first grade, Bridgette (Birdie) Knox, but in this novel we also get reacquainted with many of the characters we met and loved in the previous Blessings novels, like Peanut Butterman and his wife, Ruby, Dub, and his wife, Nola, the psychic and kindhearted, Eliot Graham, and so many others.
With Christmas just around the corner, there's a parade float to build, a gingerbread house contest for the children in town, an amazing gift for the less fortunate in Blessings who reside in The Bottoms, and best of all, it's the Christmas season, and while there's no snow in Blessings, there's more than enough Christmas spirit to go around--so wrongs get righted, gossip gets clarified, crimes get solved, perpetrators get second chances, and love triumphs over all. To tell you more would spoil it for you, so I'll just wish you all a wonderful holiday season and a a bright and happy new year.
If you're looking for a book that makes you feel about Christmas the way you did as a child, this novel is it. Thank you Sharon Sala, for another utterly wonderful read!
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this novel The opinions expressed are my own.

Welcome back to Blessings, Georgia! Wade Montgomery returned to Blessings after a fire almost destroyed the family business. When he sees his old flame Birdie Knox is still there, he hopes to win her heart and make a fresh start. Love this series and connecting with the folks from Blessings again!
Thanks to Sharon Sala and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this book!

The Christmas Wish is #12 in the series. I had difficulty connecting with the characters. I didn't feel the build up of the relationship and the love in the story. The story starts with Birdie feelings about being in love her boss but he doesn't seem to notice or feel the same way. Next her boss Wade confronts her about her feelings or lack of feelings and now they are a couple. It just wasn't for me.

I enjoyed this sweet second chance holiday romance. Wade has come back to his hometown to help with his family business. When he sees Birdie, he realizes how much he still cares about her. Birdie has always liked Wade too but was too shy to tell him. Recommended.

I really liked the story line in this book. Wade Montgomery and Birdie Knox are quite the pair in this small ltown Romance. He comes back to town to help run his family business and sees his childhood crush, they have a little trouble getting started, but things heat up fast. Within the town of Blessings, there is a tight knit community who love and support one another. It's a feel good story, with a little bit of drama mixed in. Sharon Sala has written a captivating story, and I enjoyed it so much.

If I had to choose one series that is my absolute favorite of all time it would be the Blessings, Georgia series by Sharon Sala. Each book I've read (and that's all but two of them) have swept me off my feet and made my heart melt. I can say the exact same thing for The Christmas Wish. This is a heartwarming and splendid read and I never wanted it to end. I fell deep in love with the characters and wanted to read their story all over again when I finished. I think it's safe to say at this point that this is another winner in an irresistible series.

I understand that this is book three in this series but it is the first that |I have come across., I will be looking for the others though.. This was an enjoyable rom read and the main characters were well displayed. I would recommend you find the other books so as to continue the story, mind you this is still a good read on its own. 4 stars
Thanks to Netgalley and publisher for this eARC

Sharon Sala creates strong characters that face adversity but never lose their heart, passion or generosity. She elicits the Christmas Spirit in this one and tugs at your heartstrings. The scenes and relationships she creates are always original. Wade and Birdie finally admit their attraction for each other. Theirs is such a sweet story. Wade has loved Birdie since the first grade. The main focus of the story is about Wade and Birdie but any story set in Blessings, Georgia has a whole cast of characters including the adorable kids. There are those down on their luck but this little town pulls together to help each other. Oh my gosh, I just love every character in this series. I want to live in Blessings. Sharon Sala is the ultimate storyteller.
Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this advanced review copy. In return, I am submitting my unbiased and voluntary review. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

3/5 Stars
I have some mixed feelings about this book. I will admit it was cute and very hallmark-like, which I absolutely enjoyed. However, I also felt like nothing really happened. Everything felt very okay. I would say there is a lot of plot or that this is really character-driven. It felt just a little boring for me because I felt like there wasn't a whole lot keeping my attention. This all being said this is very much a cozy read. It's easy to read and perfect for an inbetween book.

This is the second book in this series that I have read. I can't wait to start at the beginning and read them all. There is multiple stories in this book. My favorite is the main story and the story of Duff!!! His story is so heartbreaking it sucked me I and didn't want it to end!! I love the story of Birdie and Wade! The small town feel of Blessings is where I want to live. 5 stars!!

This book was like several stories within a story. The main characters were Wade and Bridgette and their story was so romantic and fun. Duff and his family story was heartbreaking, sweet and happy finally. Josh had to learn a hard lesson before he learned what was important in life. He almost lost it all if not for a kind older man who helped him. The little kids in the stories were hilarious. They had such fun personalities. We got to hear about characters from other books that rounded out this book. It was a very, very good read that I enjoyed immensely
I got this book from NetGalley and am giving an honest review

Sharon Sala brings us back to Blessings, Georgia. We meet Wade who has come home to help out at the family feed store and Birdie who works alongside him. We also get to touch base with the rest of the Blessings residents. As we watch Wade and Birdie's story unfold, we get to watch what else happens in this town.
I always look forward to the next installment of this series. It is like visiting family each time we get to step back into Blessings. I am excited for the next story from this author.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I would like to thank NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca Publishing for this privilege.

It is always a pleasure to visit Blessings, but especially at Christmastime!!! This story is about Wade & Birdie who finally begin dating and get engaged. They go through good & bad things, which both come in 3's! Then there is Zach, who was wrongfully convicted of a crime, and sits in prison and his family, who get the BEST Christmas gift ever!! And good old Peanut & Ruby Butterman, who donate a FANTASTIC gift to the people of the Bottoms. So much generosity, good will, kindness & Christmas spirit, with a gingerbread house contest thrown in! If you are looking for a heartwarming, holiday read, then he sure to give this book a try!!

I would like to thank Sourcebooks and NetGalley for allowing me to read this book and give an honest opinion. I am a long time fan of Sharon Sala and I am addicted to Blessings, Georgia. I am sad to know that there is only two more books in this series before it ends. What will I do with an update on Peanut and Ruby? Will Mercy give Lon babies? What about Bottoms? OMGosh! I was so excited that we FINALLY got a Christmas book. This book centers around Wade and Birdie. They have been in love with each other their entires lives but the other doesn't know. This book has a subplot that is so good. Duffy, now a 16 year old, finally finds out why his dad went to prison when he was six. He took off to Blessings to help free his father. I wish this book was 1,000 pages and then I would still say its too short! Please don't stop!

In Blessings, Georgia we are always welcome. Summer is in full blossom. We find Wade Montgomery back in Blessings from Boston. His Uncle Dub had retired and was in need of someone to run Truesddaleś Feed and Seed . Dub and his wife, Nola had taken care of Wade on many occasions and with his parents passing he felt obligated to help them out.
Dubś secretary and financial adviser, Bridgett Knox was happy that her old friend (since grade school) was back in their hometown but the idea of him becoming her boss was just plain difficult. It wasn't that she didn´t like him, far from it. She had always crushed on Wade but he was a popular guy and she didn't think she measured up. Since he had been back in town he had asked her out a few times but she was in a real predicament about accepting. Oh how she wanted to but she felt just maybe since they were old friends it was just an obligation.
As always, Salaś opening to her Blessings, Georgia series gives main characters a welcome introduction. While her story progressed I was ever so involved in continuing with the persona in the latest adventure. The Christmas Wish is #12 in the series. I have read many. This wonderful chronicle of the Blessings townsfolk was endearing and special. She led us to the Christmas season and gave us a few miracles in the process. Sharon Sala´s latest publication will be released on September 28, 2021 by Sourcebooks. I appreciate their allowing me to read and review The Christmas Wish via NetGalley. I am certain that Blessings followers will be excited about this holiday release. Those who have never read the series should indulge in this superb novel. Not saying much about the character stories she details in this book. I would like readers to be as bewitched by her narrative as I was. By all means, Enjoy!

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
What a refreshing read. All the stories intertwined with Wade and Bridgettes love story and although their love story seemed to start in a rush, overall the book was fantastic.
The townspeople came together and were a breath of fresh air. From Josh’s story to Duffy and all the rest, it was a good town feel.
Stories of hope and renewal and gave the vibe that there is still good in this world.

I really loved this story . It was so good. . There were several stories going on within the book but they all tied together. Bridgett and Wade, Nola and Dub, Josh and Lajuna, Candi, Allen and Duff , Zach, Helen and Peanut. See how these stories tied all the characters together. A VERY GOOD Christmas read. I have only read 3 of this series but now I an going to end up reading them all. You should too.

I love the Blessings, Georgia series and this is book 12. It can be read as a stand alone but you don't want to miss the previous 11 books. All the couples from these books are updated in Christmas Wish and I'm hoping the new reporter at the newspaper is our next hero in Blessing. Wade is now in charge of the feed store so his Uncle can retire and he's head over heels in love with office manager, Bree. This sweet love story is Christian but the references are to church attendance and thanking God for their good lives. I hope this series never ends. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

(3.5)This is part of a series, I recommend reading them. I have not read the previous books. This small town Christmas feel good has some mystery woven through, It is a tale of family, mistakes, finding love, righting wrongs and mostly heart. It touches on numerous people in Blessings, and can be a little tough to follow. Still an a good read and will definitely bring Christmas closer and touch your heart. Thank you Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this arc. I freely volunteer my thoughts and opinions.

The Christmas Wish by Sharon Sala Featured are Wade and Birdie finally declaring their love for each other. There are numerous Christmas miracles sprinkled throughout this book. The Martins find their miracle when Duffy makes a startling discovery. Ruby and Peanut gift the residents of the Bottoms a van. And so much more. One of the more lighthearted scenes involves upholstery, bug spray and spray adhesive and a mouse who steals the show. The holiday spirit is alive and well in Blessings, GA.
Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to preview the book.
