I did not connect with this book. There are a ton of characters that the book bounces between. It turns out this is book 12 in the series. I definitely felt like I was missing information that might have let me connect with the characters.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Sourcebooks Casablanca through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. Thank you, Sourcebooks Casablanca.

Birdie and Wade finally admit to their feelings about each other and start dating. All is not perfect, though. There's a little drama and suspense, out-of-control fighting neighbors, an interesting Christmas parade, small-town gossip, and a HEA. However, theirs isn't the only Christmas wish in the small town of Blessings, Georgia. One man hopes to make amends to the damage he's caused for himself and his family, and another young man makes a startling discovery that sets him out on a quest for justice. This is a feel-good Christmas story with wonderful characters and small-town charm. Thank you NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this ARC.

Christmas is coming to small town Blessings,Georgia. This year, Santa is bringing more than just gifts. He has a few miracles up his sleeve. In this book, we meet a few more new characters and catch up with some old.
Another good entry in the series. I always enjoy returning to Blessings and visiting with old friends.
Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for a copy of this book for review.

The Christmas Wish takes us back to Blessing. It's a small town with a heart and the characters take care of each other. Even when the bad happens in threes; the good also comes in threes.

This book was really good. It had all types of emotions packed in . I really enjoy the books that Sharon Sala writes. I think this is the book that will stay with you, even if you read it before Christmas. I am grateful that netgalley let me read this in exchange for an honest review.

The Christmas Wish by Sharon Sala (Blessings, Georgia #12) 5 stars

I will always say that reading a Blessings, Georgia book is like having a warm blanket and a cup of hot cocoa - comfort on a grand scale. This is a direct follow up to "Somebody to Love". The main characters, Wade Montgomery and Bridgette Knox were minor characters in the previous book and it is now their turn to shine. Wade has had a crush on Bridgette "Birdie" Knox since he was a small boy. His family left Blessings, but now he is back to manage his Uncle's feed store. Birdie is the bookkeeper for the feed store and is attracted to Wade. After six months of dancing around, Wade asks Birdie if there can be anything between them. What follows is a whirlwind courtship that is romantic and sweet; a HEA is a given for this book.

Ms. Sala always adds plenty of characters from previous books to give an update on their lives. There are also subplots for minor characters that may or may not show up as a main character in a future book. That's the fun of reading these books, trying to see if you can spot the next character. I have not ever read a bad book in this series and have a few favorites that I read again and again. As a bonus, this is the first Christmas book for this series. I can't wait for the next book in this series, "The Best of Me" coming in April 2022.

Thank you Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this ARC.

Oooh, I’m really disappointed in this one. While there was a certain charm to the story, the pace was really slow and the plot rather underwhelming. I think it would have made a more interesting and pleasing tv show with the Christmas visuals.

Blessings still sounds like a wonderful place though, and it was great to meet some familiar figures.
