Good book on nature mimicry. Nice introduction to the topic for the elementary level. Could have more explanation for why the examples are used. I will be adding a video review on my channel soon

I never really considered before how different things we use are related to animals. This book does a good job explaining biomimicry and then giving examples of how engineers have use animal features to create tools and technology we use in our lives.

Thank you for the chance to read this young readers nonfiction which covers "biomimicry" in nature. Biomimicry is essentially when ideas for machines come from nature. This book covers several examples. The passages are short/brief, concise and appropriate vocabulary/contextual levels for young readers. In fact, I learned quite a bit even as an adult that I didn't know about! There are plenty of images and charts to complement the text. I think that this was reminiscent of the series of books I would read when I was a young student in science class. Decent book. Only critique, if one is needed, is the title. I think that the title is just slightly off-putting, sounds a bit boring or complicated, but obviously once someone reads they figure that's not the case.
