This is a well-put-together book on the simple machine of the Axle and wheel. It is understandable at the elementary level. The style and colors are inviting and exciting. I particularly like "Maker" and their strange language. It adds a nice whimsical touch. I will be doing a video review soon on my channel.

This book does a great job of explaining axels to young readers. It gives examples of axels in everyday items that you might not even think of. Young scientists need exposure to this book.

This book is a fabulous addition to any STEAM curriculum. Axles are taught in the most simple of ways with a multitude of examples. All new vocabulary is described in the glossary, but even the new vocabulary is written at a reading level appropriate for independent reading in most upper elementary curriculums.
