I received this e-title from Netgalley in return for my honest opinion.

This was such a sweet book. I really liked the first book about Rosetown and Rylant did not disappoint with book two. I might be a little biased because I am also from a small town in Indiana but if you are looking for a simple wholesome tale this is for you. A short easy read with plenty of heart.

This story was far too fanciful for me. Not much ever happens. It’s a slow, sweet story about a girl dealing with small changes occurring all around her. I’m not sure who this story was targeted toward, but I don’t see many children reaching for this story on the shelves. Nothing about it is super relatable or interesting. Flora was dull and, while concerned about changes such as Miss Meriwether leaving, never did anything about it.
