This novel contains pleasing and amusing content to which compliment the cover of the book.
I would certainly advise fellow readers to take a read for yourself so you can make your own judgement.

A remarkable collection of excellent short stories designed to cover a range of personal female fantasies and tastes.

Thanks to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I like to read short stories from author's I"m not familiar with to see if I can find some new authors to try. This was no exception. Some stories where too short and others weren't my thing. That's okay. I've read other reviews where the same sentiment was expressed and I'm glad that different voices are being presented so that everyone can find themselves in stories.

Coming Soon: Women's Orgasm Erotica by Rachel Kramer Bussel is a collection of short stories with a lot of variation to ensure something for everyone. #ComingSoon #NetGalley

I received a complimentary copy of Coming Soon in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed the variety and the length of stories. Each short story "hit the ground running." Of course some were better then others. I enjoy reading erotica genres, but this was a little vanilla compared to what I've read for this genre in the past. Still a great option if you don't have a lot of time to read an entire novel in one sitting, or are looking for some variety.

Coming Soon is a collection of short erotic stories centering the pleasure of transgender and non-binary people, cis people, people with disabilities, and people of all ages. Every story is different in terms of its heat and kink level, as well as relationship pairings. The stories celebrate pleasure in ways that are intense, tender, surprising, and powerful. Not every story worked for me (I DNFed 3) but I think everyone will find stories that they enjoy within this collection. Your mileage may vary.

Averaging out the ratings I gave for each story (excluding the 3 stories I DNFed because they weren't working for me) the average rating I would give the book is 3.5 stars. My five-star reads were After by Katrina Jackson (so beautifully tender) and Read to Me by CC Bridges. A few of my other favorites were Exceptional Service, Remote Vibrations, Tracing the Edge, and Antarctica.

I will note that some of the stories do mention the pandemic. If this is something that would be upsetting to you, I recommend looking for content warnings for the specific stories.

Perfect book for the Erotica genre, if you don't like one story, simply skip and go on to the next. There is enough variety to keep everyone satisfied!

Being fairly new to the erotica genre as a reader, I've quickly come to rely on Rachel Kramer Bussel anthologies to deliver some quick, hot, spicy stories full of sex and titillation. As the title indicates, Coming Soon: Women's Orgasm Erotica puts the women and their pursuit of pleasure front and center.

CC Bridges opens up the anthology with "Read to Me," which sees a librarian lured into a bookstore by the window placement of a new erotica title and quickly drawn to the store's handsome owner, whose voice is like "sex on a stick." Despite the instant attraction, Elise fears she is broken and unable to come with a man, but Jake is eager to prove her wrong. Bridges delivers some great chemistry in this short piece, and the sex is both sweet and lusty.

T.C. Mill's fantastically written and nicely detailed "Exceptional Service" proved to be every bit as exceptional as the title indicates. Here, waitress Helen is invited into a three-way with a femdom and her male submissive as a reward for her exceptional service. Evan Mora's "Envy" is another story centered around threesomes and was scorching hot.

Victoria Diane delivers a neat science fiction piece in "The Voice In Your Head," which sees a soldier learning just how talented her AI implant is and the amount of control it can exert over her body. It's a really neat premise, and the fantasy fulfillment is both sexy and sweet.

"Multiple Gifts," by Anuja Varghese, is positively smoldering as a long-distance relationship turns into a 12-hour IRL meeting. This couple only has one night together, but good lord do they ever make the most of it! Equally satisfying is Ella Dawson's "Business Trip," which sees a secretary taking control over her boss and giving him some very explicit orders to follow. Katrina Jackson's "After" is a tender and emotionally honest look at a woman's postpartum changes, to both her body and mind, and her difficulty reaching arousal. It's a great look at the ways couples can keep romance alive under the weight of parenthood, support one another with, and keep things fun and spicy in the bedroom with the introduction of some toys and an open mind.

Donna George Storey closes out this 20-story anthology with "Antarctica." In it, a woman attends a sex positivity weekend retreat and is encouraged by one of the instructors to write about her sexual fantasies. Her particular fantasy involves being stationed in Antarctica, where the men outnumber the women, and being pleasured through rounds of bareback anal sex. Storey delivers a nicely explicit and achingly hot fantasy in this one, and I found myself worried it might melt my Kindle.

Unfortunately, as with most anthologies, there were a handful of stories that didn't satisfy or appeal, including one revolving around geriatric sex in a retirement home in Claire Cupp's "Love and Porn in a Retirement Home." Cupp does keep things light and amusing as an elderly Christian woman discovers porn for the first time, but granny/granddad sex isn't really high on my list of turn-ons. Sienna Saint-Cyr's "House of Fingers" didn't work for me either, and while it did have some important messages about self-discovery and self-acceptance, it also felt more clinical than erotic.

While there a few other stories that didn't pass muster, the majority of this anthology hit a number of high notes for me, and I appreciated the focus on women's orgasms, achieved with their men, other women, or solo. It's wonderfully sex-positive in its explorations of hetero, lesbian, and trans partnerships, featuring diverse authors and couplings. And it's also rather explicit and exciting, meaning that readers will most likely be coming soon, too.

Coming Soon is a collection of short erotic stories about women, transgender, young and old and nonbinary people. It offers a variety of styles from BDSM to fantasies but also typical man-woman relationships at various points of their lives.

It is brilliant to have books that highlight women's sexuality without self guilt, to see them enjoying their bodies alone or with partners in ways that are sometimes surprising, thoughtful but end up always with an happy ending (or multiple orgasms).

It is not every chapter that will please everyone, but everyone will find a chapter to enjoy.

"Remote vibrations" is my favorite and yet I still think it should be longer. The other short stories did not pique my interest and most have pacing issues and could've paced well for me to appreciate the stories even more.

I should admit that I skipped a couple that didn't quite grab my attention. And also that I could have done without the quarantine reminders; personally I feel that, in the long run, mentioning it will just end up dating the stories.
Besides that, it's another great collection of stories about women taking matters into there own hands (literally or not) and getting what they truly want. Somehow that's still a rare thing to find in books, so anthologies like this are a refreshing break, and for me much more preferred, from the rest.

This was such a good read. A bunch of red hot steamy novellas. Not recommended to read in public. Because can and will cause you to become hot and bothered.

When it comes to erotic collections, Ms. Bussel as the editor means that it is a must read book for me. Usually I go for her bondage and kinkier stories because I tend to lean that direction. This time, I'm just testing out the more vanilla erotica and ... I can tell the difference. The stories are all well written. Only the kinkier ones caught my attention.

I point this out because each reader's mileage may vary. When I noted down the stories I particularly enjoyed, I noticed a consistent theme. Without further ado, these are my 5 favourite stories in this eclectic orgasmic collection. These are not in any particular order other than their location in the book.

Exceptional Service by T.C. Mill is the first to capture my attention. This delightful threesome with a Domme is definitely a fantasy of mine. I loved it. Next on the list is no surprise to me. Author D.L. King is a writer I recognize and thought I would enjoy. I did. The Electricity of a Dark Peak is also a Domme theme and oh so edgy and delicious. I enjoyed the pace of this story and the ending lets a reader's imagination run wild.

I am not sure what is going on with Kindness by Gabrielle Johnson. This supernatural-esque tale intrigues me. I like the feeling of not knowing exactly what is going on and yet having a slight premonition that there is more than meets the eye. The hints and ending of the story makes me want to read more. Is this a Greek god or an angel who visited? I wonder.

The (Re)Education of Truvi Anderson by Renee Dominick moves me. This one is not particularly BDSM kinky. It is kinky in a voyeuristic way in our pandemic world. What I liked about this one is Truvi owning her sexuality and doing something that she wants. She is exploring her desires and is neither ashamed nor embarrassed by it. She revels in her new found freedom and I find this so sexy.

Lastly, in a similar vein, Antarctica by Donna George Storey speaks of female sexual empowerment. Whilst this girls away spa/sexual retreat is a bit hokey for me, it is clear that it helps protagonist. Her assignment to write her fantasy and explore what she loves about it is sex positive and hawt. The sexual instructor/guide providing her support for our protagonist to share with her husband is fantastic. Honestly, as the last story of this book, it finishes off the collection in a smooth and powerful manner. I may have also picked up a little something for how to spice up married life.

This erotic collection is sweet, sexy and above all, sex positive. Highly recommended to readers who are hesitant about their fantasies and need reassurance that anything goes - from tame to kinky flame.

I should stay away from these books. They are short snippets. And sometimes I want more and other times less. You also have to jump styles of writing. I always am disappointed, Many were very hot and others just fell short, for sure each story got a big O..

Wow was this little compilation SPICY! I was 100% here for it though. I loved "Coming Soon" (pun intended with that title) so much! The short stories were the perfect length to read before bed and they reeled me in instantly. No need for verbal foreplay here, let's just dive right in! 10/10 would recommend to anyone! Even Grandma's, there's a story in here for you too ;)

A surprising variety made for an excellent collection. There's not really a bad story in the bunch (though of course some are better than others). All around worth a look if you're wanting a nice collection with a theme.

Overall well worth a read if this is your type of thing (and the fact that you're looking at reviews likely means it is). While not every story was a hit for me personally, enough were to make the collection collection well worth your time. 4/5 stars

I received a complimentary copy of Coming Soon from NetGalley.  Opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

A few of the short stories were interesting, but none were really memorable. The topics were extremely varied, so some were really not for me. I suppose they were pretty well written, though.

4/5 this is a great collection of erotica stories. Each short was better than the next. I hope more anthologies like this one will release soon.
