Thank you to the author, publisher and netgalley for this arc!!

This book was really insightful, thought provoking and interesting to get an inside view of what it was like from a different perspective rather than inside a camp.

There was a lot that was new information to me and I think it was fascinating learning more!

Highly recommend

Denham served as a Naval Attache in Nazi-surrounded Sweden for British Intelligence. He had a difficult time because of the Nazi bullying and intimidation of the neutral Swedes who were often disinclined to help the British, and even pro-German much of the time. Helping to get essential goods out of Sweden, such as iron ore and ball-bearings, was especially tough. He even found himself being watched over by the Swedish Secret Police!

This is an extremely interesting memoir, but the writing is excessively dry, unfortunately.

I received this free ebook from NetGalley in return for an honest review.
