I thought this book was brilliant. From the moment you realise the mix up is far more than that, it'll have you hooked. There were twists and turns and just when you think you've got it figured out, something else happens and grips you even more. I was really hoping for a great ending as I didn't want to be disappointed and I definitely was not disappointed, it was brilliant. I can't wait to read more from this author.

Imagine going to pick up your 4 year old son from his playdate only to discover there was no playdate, and the address given was a false one. This is how All Your Fault begins. Marissa had received a text from Jacob's Mum, Jenny. Or so she believed.

So begins a frantic search for Milo.

There are so many twists and turns in this thriller, and at times, it did meander a little too much.

And if the plot is somewhat far-fetched, it is still an enjoyable read with a deliciously dark conclusion.

This spine-chilling book tapped into every parents worst fear: what if you carelessly thought you were handing your child over to a caregiver, but now the child is nowhere to be found, and in retrospect you're not entirely sure who you left him with(!) The twists and turns in this kept me on the edge of my seat. Every time I thought I had it figured out I was wrong! A breathless page-turner which I couldn't put down until I knew what happened. 5 stars!

Wow, this book delivered on the twists and turns it promised! Very twisty and led me to suspect everyone. Lots of clues are dropped throughout but only became obvious at the end.

The chapters were nice and short (I hate long chapters), which kept up the tension throughout, right up to the unexpecting ending.

A brilliant read that will unnerve you!

Every parents worst nightmare ……. you go to pick up your child from a play date and they are not there. Even worse the house you arrive at isn’t even the home of the family your child was meant to be with !!

This is exactly what happens to Marissa when she goes to pick up her son, Milo. Could she have got the address wrong ? Maybe the date wrong ? Where is her son ?

Jenny is in France on a work trip when she receives a call. Is her son on a play date with Milo ? Jenny has never arranged a play date and has no idea where Milo is. So who did Marissa arrange the play date with ? And more importantly where is Milo ?

What follows is a twisty tale of the ins and outs of Marissa and Jenny’s families. Well written and easy to read and follow, this book will have you glued to the pages from the very start. I am now definitely a fan of Andrea Mara, and I look forward to reading more from her.

This is where Marissa's nightmare begins. Just how many people in the suburb know what happened and how many of them were involved. The twists, turns and closely entwinned relationships made this a gripping read. It was hard to work out who was lying and who just had secrets to hide.

I didn't see the ending coming where it all finally slotted into place but I did guess the final page turning fab twist.

Highly recommended.

This was an extremely well-plotted book, interesting from the very first page and with some surprising twists.

An excellent premise, unnerving from the start which is expertly maintained by the author throughout the story.

Clues are cleverly weaved into the whole story, where you almost always recognise as clues, but written by the author in such a way that you're still guessing right to the end. The level of tension and intrigue throughout was superb.

I did feel that towards the end, the story was bogged down in detail a little too much and strayed a bit too far from realism for my taste. However overall a really enjoyable and page turning read.

Incredibly well-written, All Her Fault is a unique, unpredictable thriller. I was hooked within the first few pages; the stakes are sky-high, and the intensity and pace never let up.

Marissa is one of those incredibly rare people whose life doesn't just seem perfect from the outside - it actually is perfect. She has the perfect husband, house, job, friends, and family until Milo's disappearance changes everything, and Marissa's whole world is falling apart. Her panic and desperation are vivid and relentless. On the other side of the equation, Jenny's life seems to be falling apart before Milo is taken. Her marriage is rocky, she's struggling to balance her work and family, she overthinks everything, and her mother-in-law is a nightmare. These seemingly opposite perspectives play off each other well to create a fast-paced, easy-to-read story.

I was impressed with how quickly this story got off the ground, and I would never have predicted the direction it ended up taking. A few of the details of the twists at the end were a little too implausible for reality, but I still thoroughly enjoyed All Her Fault and would highly recommend it to any fans of thrillers or twisty narratives.

A complex and interesting story full of twists, makes you realise how one event can change your life. A fabulous thriller that also tugs at your heart, loved it.

This was a fast paced psychological thriller that I thought was an excellent read. I love a book that has me guessing who the perpetrator is and when I think it’s one person I’m proven wrong . Well, that was this book.

Ok, since I became a mother I sort of started perceive books like these in a different way.
I suppose before I'd be like "meh, that was an ok book, whatever", but now I'm more like "oh wow, that's so tragic, I cant even imagine what I would do".
The book starts from a high note and never really slows the pace. There are a lot of twists and turns and red herrings and it kept me up until like 2am (which I think is the best recommendation you can get from me).
My only complain is the ending which is like "WTAF where did that come from". It's too over the top to be believable for me, but I still enjoyed reading it.

I don't know why I keep reading books about missing kids 😭 It's so triggering but I just can't help myself.

All Her Fault was a 5hr read according to my Kindle because I was practically inhaling it. The story starts with Marissa showing up at Jenny's house to fetch her 4yo son Milo from a playdate with Jenny's son Jacob. Except, Milo isn't there. Not only that, this isn't even Jenny's house and Jenny phone is disconnected. So where's Milo????

This was such a well written story. Like one of those Pass The Parcel gifts that have surprises as you unwrap each layer. I thought it would be about the different personalities and dynamics of the mums at school and as someone who has always been on the outside of these groups (I prefer the loners cracking sarcastic comments on the fringe of school pick up 😂) I thought that would be interesting.

But I was wrong. There are so many different relationships at play here with the dynamics constantly changing. The story was fast paced and every time you think you know who was involved in Milos abduction, you get new information.

This is a story of love and how far people will go to keep their kids.

And also a warning to ALWAYS confirm details for playdates with people face to face. Don't just let your kids be picked up guys. Especially if you don't know the other parent well. You don't want the regret that will sink into your bones and never leave.

Oh my, what a fantastic read!

Andrea Mara is a brilliant find, and I can´t wait to read her next book. This one had it all, unputdownable for a start, a parent´s nightmare of going to pick up their child from a play date only to discover her child is not there and never was.....

Totally absorbing, the characters of Marissa and Jenny brilliantly written, other people drawn in, possible suspects from all corners and the finale, well, I didn´t see it coming at all!

Very original, totally absorbing, highly recommended.

What a totally absorbing read -I could not put it down. It starts off with a simple child abduction playing as a parent myself on the fears that every mother would have. The unveiling of the story was told at a perfect speed, full of lots of twosts and turns and ref herrings everywhere, All of which made me ask who can you trust?
The characters are all so realistic and easy to relate to as real people with sad and mixed up emotions. Suspicious characters abounded, with unhappy mixed up backgrounds which led to totally unexpected events.
Can't 'wait to read more from this very talennted author.

Marissa goes to pick up her son from a playdate only to find that the address she has is for a lady with no children- where is Milo? Jenny's son was the one that Marissa thought he was with & Jenny feels guilty, especially when it appears that Carrie, her nanny/au pair/child-minder has also disappeared as well. The search for Milo becomes all encompassing for the families, putting up pictures etc. Meanwhile Carrie's mother ( who chucked her out years ago) attempts to cash in on her notoriety- lovely lady!! The story makes you think as to how you trust others to look after your child ever expecting that they are other than what they say they are.

This was a good read that kept you guessing. The only reason it didn't get five stars from me was that I felt the ending was really one twist too many! Thanks to Netgalley & the publisher for letting me read & review this book.

All Her Fault is a true parent's nightmare. Filled with plenty of twists and strong characters, this is sure to be a novel that readers won't easily put down. When Marissa goes to pick up her four year old son from a playdate, she is shocked to find she doesn't recognise the person answering the door. Even worse - her son isn't there. It's a stranger's house. Several characters are suspicious. This is definitely a novel that'll keep readers guessing. Highly recommended!!
