this was a super cheesy romcom that was an easy one sitting read and will definitely keep your spirits light. If you don't mind Hallmark style cheese this is a great non-chrirstmas read for you!

This was such a fun read! I love the stuffy suit/pageant queen pairing. It made the romance fun and flirty, with a bit of an edge. I enjoyed Ruby and Spencer's rapport, and it was an entertaining journey seeing him loosen up and not take life so seriously. But I was just as appreciative that Ruby valued hard work over taking advantage of her looks, and I loved that she held Spencer accountable for his actions. The ending made me want to cheer for her. Overall, it was a sweet, sexy, lighthearted rom-com.

4.5 this book was way spicer than I anticipated. I loved the dog aspect and I think Spencer and Caleb are adorable!

This was a typical romantic comedy. It's exactly what you would expect it to be so if you're looking for a fun romcom this will be right up your alley. It was fun and cute and enjoyable.

I loved the vibes of this book. After a kiss in a wardrobe everything change. But they keep that for them selfes. They are living their life but they croos the paths againand they are so cute in not admiting the attraction. I so miss beeing 25 again. They are fun together and it is clear they are made for eachother. They also pretend to be more than friends and make the story tender too. An easy and funny read

Thank you Nettgalley and Thomas Neslon Publishers.

I enjoy Lucy Gilmore's writing a lot. Ruby and Sam were so much fun together. This was a cute romcom and I definitely recommend it for romance fans.

Not reinventing the wheel but very cute. The chemistry lacks somewhat in places, but it's cute, it's fun, it's romantic. The plot wasn't to my personal taste, but I'm not mad I picked it up.

Now this is the kind of enemies to lovers story I can get behind! I finished I HATE YOU MORE by Lucy Gilmore earlier today and it was such a fun read.

Ruby and Spencer don't *actually* hate each other so I enjoyed reading as their verbal sparring went from annoyed to flirtatious. I'm not a fan of when there characters clearly despise each other and then all of a sudden want to bang. I don't get it. But these two? Oh, you could tell as the heat intensified between them that it was going to be GOOD when it ignited. Brace yourselves for steamy open door scenes. Though I will say there were no literal doors in the first sexy scene....

And good news - that big doggo on the cover does actually have a lot to do with the story! (Other people have noticed the trend of dogs randomly being shoved on the cover of rom coms and not making sense for the story - right?)

I listened to most of this one and I really enjoyed the dual narration. The story is read by Alex Knox and Emily Pike Stewart. Definitely recommend the audio.

I had a few issues with the stereotypical break up near the end of the book and I couldn't *quite* get behind Ruby's past as a beauty queen (apparently I have some biases to work on) but all that didn't keep me from cheering for a happy ending. Is this a perfect book? Definitely not. But it was fun and funny and sexy. I enjoyed myself immensely as I was reading it and I consider that a win in my books.

If you're a dog lover - what kind of doggo would you love to have as a pet? I have dreams of having a big dog and a Westie 😂 The imagery is just too amusing.

Did not enjoy. The characters were not any fun at all. I didn't even review this on my other platforms because of how little I enjoyed what I read. Dnf for sure.

This was a funny, funny read and I loved the wonderful depiction of the dog, which was spot on to anyone who has known and loved a stubborn dog.

I was really excited by the synopsis of this book. A dog show with a beauty queen should have been a recipe for a cute romance. Unfortunately, the majority of this book was so silly, to put it lightly. The way that the characters acted and the situations they were in were so implausible and unrealistic. The whole romance felt quite immature and predictable. The main character, however, was the shining star of the novel. Ruby, was the most well-developed and dynamic character who frankly didn't deserve the story that she was given. There were also some side characters who made the story more bearable. Overall, I liked the idea of the story a whole lot more than the actual thing.

4/5 Stars!

This book was so cute! This is an adorable rom-com with dogs! I am sucker for the grumpy and sunshine trope and Spencer was the perfect grump. I loved him. The tension and chemistry was amazing. This book was so witty and playful. I also loved the banter!! If you love a quick read and love enemies to lovers pick this book up!

If anyone was wondering, yes, I 100% requested to review this book because of its cover. How stinking cute are those two puppies on the cover (every dog is a puppy IMO). In the last few books that I read with the fake dating trope, I realized that I really am a fan of them. They are just a lot of fun and I Hate You More was no exception. This was a very fast paced read and I enjoyed every minute of it!

This book did not work for me. The beginning was so convoluted that I was rolling my eyes. I had no real connection with either character. I found myself skimming pages in a race to finish.

Thank you Sourcebooks and Netgalley for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

I really enjoyed this book! Super cute, unique premise, genuinely laughed out loud at moments. I found how they finally got together a little odd, but overall very much enjoyed it.

Omg this books was EVERYTHING! A grumpy x sunshine in this unexpected love story just delivered it! Of course, I think the dogs were the main characters, it made everything 10 times funnier and lovable.
I really appreciated that it revolves around the dog training industry.

If you are a dog person and you love a healthy banter, some funny moments, finding love when not really expected, overcoming the stereotypes that was built for you (MCs) then this book is definitely for you! I loved it!
Also, how freaking cute the cover is!!

Funny, butterfly inducing and adorable. A great little read :)

This is an interesting book. It's a quick read and a cute romcom, but it has some issues. Namely, there are couple of extremely random, sudden, unexplained moments. The big one is the two main characters having a sudden intimate moment without even a kiss or any kind of build-up very early on in the book. I'm all for steam, but this was done weirdly--and not the good kind of weird. On the flip side, I liked the main characters, thought they had interesting personality traits, and some unique elements. For example, the book is highly centered on a dog show and dog training, and addresses the heroine's work in a nursing home and past as a beauty queen. I think with some fixes, it could have been a stellar read, but it didn't quite make it there.

Thanks to Sourcebooks Casa for my eARC! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

4 stars - 6/10
