The plot has so much potential! I really found it interesting and kept me reading just to find out what was what going to happen next. Rosie came off as a lot younger than what the author listed her as. While I found the plot interesting, it was a bit hard to keep reading due to Rosie's character and her brother Caleb. The author definitely has potential and I look forward to see what she comes out with in the future but this book wasn't for me.

Wow that ending!! I hope there will be a book two because I need more answers after all that happened. This was a good read, different. Kind of remind me of a version of a superman story but still interesting enough to read the entire book.

I liked reading this book!

I like the storyline. Rosie has a perfect life on earth but finds out she’s from another world. She gets stuck between both of them and needs to choose. There was a plot twist at the end, but I have admit that I saw it coming.

You can read this book very easy, because the chapters are not to long, which I very much prefer :)

What I would’ve liked to see more, is about the other world where she’s originally from. I would like to know more about that.

I like the characters! Caleb is definitely my favourite! That is because he surprised me. At first I didn’t liked him. I thought he was the overprotective brother and should mind his own business. But then he turned out to be exactly the opposite. Yes he was still protective of her, but now you know what his motives were and you just have to like him.

The others characters were just as I expected and I mean that in a good way.
The only character I have my doubts with is Kai. You just knew he was the bad guy. What I missed was what his motives were. Why did he do what he did, why did he made this choices, how did he turned into the bad guy?

I can’t wait to read the next book. And hopefully read more about the other world and see more of this characters.
I assume there’s going to be a next book because of the ending! Now I need to know how it’s going to end!!!

THANK YOU to Xpresso Book Tours and Netgalley for providing me with ARC in exchange for an honest review.

It's little hard for me to write this review...but i will start with the things that i loved about this book.
The cover is exquisite! The shading, the lines and the dark colors....just gorgeous❤ but it is a bit misleading to be honest, because when i saw it i imidietly associated it with some dark, gothic story and didn't fit with the true story for me😔.
The plot idea was intriguing and captivating and had huge potential to be unfold .
Alas i think two things led to chain reaction and hampered the story to be what it deserved.
On one hand for me it felt rushed and for all the events we didn't have time to process and feel them and get attached emotionally....and that led to the problem that you couldn't get attached to a character because just when you try to assimilate things you're throw into the next one.
The second thing in my humble opinion that "helpet" the story downward was , that the majority of the text was told as a synopsis and i wished that the conversation between characters were more and all the events to be developed trough their engagement with one another and not told a matter-of-fact by the narrator.
That would've helped building a better emotional bond between reader - book character.
Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to readthis book and i am saddened that i had to write a mostly negative review.

I don't know if this is a debut novel, but it feels like that from the way it is written. The story concept is fascinating, it immediately made me think of Smallville: the kid from another planet growing up on earth. However the psychology of the characters and the world building didn't feel mature enough to me. Everything happens really fast and you don't really have a chance to empathize with the characters. We could have had, for instance, some glitches about the main character's real identity, that could build up to the revelation. Rosie, the MC, is 21, but acts somehow like she's a 16 year old.
To sum it up, the book has some interesting raw material, but it could use some editing.
