Such a lovely read. Not a typical romance story definitely a lot more relatable compared to some. A quick easy read!

This was very cute - that is definitely the best adjective to describe it. A fun and fast read, this book is enjoyable from beginning to end.

I really liked the concept for this book and how that concept of "A to Z dates" was implemented throughout the story. The date ideas were really creative, and these various dates showed the chemistry and banter between the two main love interests in the story. Overall, this was a really cute and very enjoyable romance book and I'd definitely recommend it to people who are looking for exactly that in their next romance read.

This book wasn’t your normal romantic story it was a very interesting story.

Alice meets Zach at his exhibition and they end up dating they go through the alphabet A-Z which was very interesting coming up with unusual dates. We see them having ups and downs. Alice has never had a proper relationship before will they survive and reach the end of the alphabet only time will tell.

It had funny parts in it and see the relationship going from strength to strength. It was well written.

I love a book that makes me snort, and it was like I had my own personal farm when I was reading this. Alice has no intention of ever getting hurt from a relationship, so she has a three-date rule, then she ends it. Or she did until she met Zach, who is quite a romantic guy. After managing to insult Zach, they end up going for a coffee. He persuades her to begin an alphabet date night as her name begins with A and his Z. Each, in turn, takes the following alphabet letter and arranges a date with it. And so it begins.

It is brilliant any time of the year read that I thoroughly enjoyed. The pair are very different and yet perfect for each other too. Alice and Zach’s banter had me in stitches, and I loved how unusual some of the dates were. From rock climbing to digging in her allotment, it was well thought out and fun.

I enjoyed how inventive the author was with the places they went to, and how each date played out. Friends and family play a big part in the story too. I liked too that not every date was a success and that they didn’t always see eye to eye. It is about taking chances and loving what you have had and could have in the future and, moving forward. A great pick me up story.

It all felt so real to me. The feelings and struggles were all so realistic and I really felt for both Alice and Zach.
The A-Z dates they went on were the cutest & most wholesome idea, and each of the dates were funny in their own way.
I definitely recommend The A to Z of Us if you’re looking for a sweet romance book to read!

Initially, I actually was really impressed with the book itself and how it was playing out. I think I was so impressed by the book plot and how it was planned out in the first few chapters that I think I brought my expectations quite high which I think I have taught myself not to because even if I end up liking the book, I feel disappointed when I'm done with it. However, I did enjoy Zach and Alice’s story I think I was just left confused and sort of in a huh? moment that made me feel a bit surprised with the book itself, and if I look past that feeling, it's actually a really good book. I mean the idea is tremendous and the author has done a great job of writing both perspectives especially handling their issues but yeah I think I would definitely recommend it to readers looking for a fun rom-com. I guess I need to re-read it later on in order to sort of have that fresh view on this book because I think my own expectations hurt me in the end because it’s actually a pretty well-written book.

Love this story. Takes the idea of the "meet cute" and turns it into an alphabetical series of dates. It's an unique perspective and I love how the dates challenge and reveal more about the characters. A great weekend read!

The whole idea of the a-z dates was really great it was an interesting hook for the book. And let's be honest I love romance between two completely different people, opposites attract and all that good stuff.

Alice is relationship adverse and Zach is a true romantic that loves love. They meet cute and then decide to go on dates from A to Z.

I wanted to like this. The idea was cute but tue characters had no chemistry and the there were too many underdeveloped ideas. I pushed myself to finish it but I wanted to quit so many times. Just not for me.

DNF at 66%.

Alice and Zach meet at an art exhibition, Zach is the artist and Alice is there to support her friend Natalie who put on the evening viewing. Alice and Zach are complete opposites, even their names start at the opposite ends of the alphabet, he's a romantic and she's a cynic about love.

Zach persuades Alice to go on a series of dates, each one starting with successive letters of the alphabet, since they met at an art gallery their second date is at a bookshop etc, etc.

I quite liked Zach, he was a bit sensitive, although he's now ridiculously good-looking he was a shy, nerdish boy and he still suffers from insecurity, especially after he finds out that his girlfriend of eighteen months was actually seeing someone else all the time and that Zach was 'the other man'. On the other hand, I found Alice to be a very annoying character. Her default reaction appeared to be to call the whole thing off, I can't see that it was Zach's fault that his ex-girlfriend was cheating on her boyfriend and lying to Zach, but apparently it is in Alice-world. Ditto when Alice's BFF, the confident famous comedian acts like an aggressive, jealous, competitive douche, it's Zach's fault for being so sensitive (after he invited the tool to the evening for Alice's benefit).

I started this nearly five months ago and recently made a determined effort to get into the book, but it just seems like a series of dates interspersed with Alice breaking up with Zach for various pointless reasons so at two-thirds of the way through the book I'm officially throwing in the towel.

I’ve read a book by Hannah Doyle previously, so I was keen to read this. The cover was good and caught my attention.

The story focuses on Anna and Zach. I really liked the 26 dates concept, it was original, which is pretty hard to accomplish in the romance genre.

The authors writing style was good, the story flowed well and the characters were believable.

I loved this book from start to finish. Alice is a self confessed love cynic and Zach is just getting over a major break up.
After a chance meeting at an art gallery they both hit it off and so begins their friendship. I was cheering them both on.
A real funny, laugh out loud story which is really heart warming.

Alice and Zach have a chance meeting and they decide to have 26 dates as they date through the alphabet.
A great easy read of two people who have a different perspective when it comes to love and romance.

I really enjoyed this story, the 26 dates idea was such a fun concept and I really enjoyed how the female was the cynical one and the male was the romantic one, such a nice change from usual romance novels.

All in all this was a fab story that I would recommend and I’ll definitely be looking for more from this author.

I’m clearly on a big romance kick this month.

I loved the idea of 26 dates and going through the alphabet one letter at a time because there names start with A and Z. I thought it was quirky, fun and cute. I absolutely loved Zach and Alice as main characters and I loved that the Author did a split POV so we get to see feelings and thoughts from both Alice and Zach.

I really enjoyed this book not just because of the main characters but also because of the side characters Ellie, Raph and Natalie. I really loved how Natalie and Alice have each other’s backs no matter what. It was heart warming to see alongside the main characters trying to get through there own problems to be able to finally come together. Overall this was a quick, flirty and fun read.

Oh, this book was so much fun to read. It was so wonderful to see where the dates headed through the alphabet. And, spoiler! For the first time, the woman is the commitment-phobe! That made it even more enjoyable. I can't wait to find more of Hannah Doyle's books and devour them as well. Would definitely recommend this - go out and read it!

To have 26 dates, and each of them starting with another letter of the alphabet, is a really lovely idea. I would have gone on each of them myself, and I was glad that I could at least accompany Alice and Zach. Hannah Doyle just built a bit too much drama into the story, for example when Alice is hurt about things from Zachs past relationship. I really couldn't understand her way of thinking there. Unnecessary complications in my opinion.

Apart from that I liked that not everything was seen through rose-tinted spectacles, but that some dates ended different from the way they were planned.

I really liked the premise of this book. Cynic Alice and romantic Zach go on dates following the alphabet.

Unfortunately I didn't like the characters and was bored by the slow plot. Yes, there are a few misunderstandings that keep the story going, but they are nothing that helps character development.
