This was an enjoyable read but a little flat for me in places. Loved the storyline and the characters but just a bit slow.

A recommended read though just stay with it.

“The Legacy - Trouble Comes Disguised As Family” is the second book in the “Unspoken Book” series. I would highly recommend that you read the first book in the series before this one, even though it could be read as a stand alone.

In the story, we meet Jessica Griffiths, who has a very interesting family. She is not surrounded by the best people, and you can not help but feel sorry for her. In the midst of her family chaos, she meets Bradley, whom she might be interested in. But at the same time, her ex-boyfriend is trying to win her back. As you can probably tell, Jessica certainly has a lot of things going on i hver life.

Long letters are a huge part of this book, and they all play a huge role in the story. I love how they actually play a role, and are not just there for the funsies.

Nevertheless, I made the mistake of reading this book without paying attention to or realising, that it is the second book in a series. I am sure, it would have helped me a lot with the understanding of the storytelling, if I had read the first book. Even though you can read this book as a stand alone, it would make more sense to read the first book before this. Otherwise, you will enter this book a bit abruptly.

At first, this book did not quite speak to me. It is a bit fluffy - but if you like those kinds of books, this is definitely the one for you. I would say, however, that my attention was caught a few chapters into the book.
