The third book in the series is the one that has more action than the two previous ones. Even if in the beginning I was reticent in this continuation of the series, after the first chapters it all was very interesting to keep reading.
The idea of the evil scientist and putting a liger to be between the main characters was a success recipe for making me to read until the end the story even if in certain aspects one could easily foresee the end. I think it might be a light and useful lecture for everyone not only children.
It also points out the struggles of the kids at school, how difficult can be for them to make friends, to get along in a new environment. In a certain moment the author shows how Alma makes a new friend, where before she was bullied by the one who became her best friend.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

In this third book in Almondine's series we follow the little Alma in her adventure to raise Almondine's baby and protect them from any harm but she finds out that at such a task is not an easy without the help of the others.

It was such a beautiful story with a nice crazy adventure that made the story so enjoyable to read with new interesting characters. I loved these books and I'm so sad that this is the last one.

I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

Almondine's Babies is the third book in the Almondine series about a little girl found in an almond nut shell by Alma.
In this story, Alma has a task to do - care for Almondines babies (all 22 of them!). Almondine cannot care for them herself (which you will find out why when you read it) so she entrusts them to Alma.
When the babies are stolen, Alma and her new friend go on a mission to rescue them and get them back.
This book was a really fun read - it made me giggle quite a few times, especially when Alma's dad gets entangled in the mission!
This book was more fast paced with lots of action going on than book 1 and 2 but that's one thing I love about this series, each book has been a unique story and differently done!
Thank you Gabriele Zucchelli for this amazing, heartwarming and adorable series! I hope it continues as its one it'll treasure forever and share with my children and their children.

In 2nd book we see the world through Almondine's eyes, in here we will see how Alma accept life after "her daughter" fate. Life not so easy for Alma afterwards. Moving to new place and need alot adaptation every single day. But then Almondine give her alot surprises.

This book offering simple idea but written so beautifully with lovely illustrations each pages. This book less feel magical but with each conflicts, I am feel connected with Alma more than 2nd book. I love how she is growing become amazing girl and super brave to protecting Almondine's legacies.
