I always enjoy when workbooks give super useful skills. I really felt like this workbook gave helpful tips and tricks to apply the skills that it suggested. I am looking rowed to using it with my teenage clients.

The updated Mindfulness for Teen Anxiety: A Workbook for Overcoming Anxiety at Home, at School, and Everywhere Else by Christopher Willard is a great resource for working with teenagers or parents of teenagers. Highly recommended. #MindfulnessforTeenAnxiety #NetGalley

This workbook style resource is fantastic for educators, parents or anyone who works with youth struggling with anxiety. This would be a great book to work through with a student needing extra support or your own child. I will definitely order this book for students I work with and recommend to students and parents.

This was well written for the intended audience. Great, practical advice and activities to help teenagers. Good to do by yourself, or with a therapist. As a 20-something, I learned some new tricks too!

I was granted an advanced copy of this text by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This book is a great introduction the teen anxiety and offers suggestions and strategies for mindfulness. I will definitely be recommending to my fellow teachers and using the strategies to assist my students in the coming year.

This is a great guide for mindfulness activities and strategies. I am a mental health counselor for adolescents so I was interested in seeing what this had to offer. Mindfulness can seem like an overwhelming practice for beginners, but I thought this book did a great job of making it simple and achievable.

This updated book is incredibly helpful. I’ve used it with my students, recommended it to parents, and even tested some of the techniques with my own teen. The workbook style is engaging and not overwhelming for teens to read on their own. The advice is evidenced-based and practical. I highly recommend this book!

Easy and obvious strategies for teen anxiety. That’s not a bad thing. It can be quite helpful for parents too.

A really well written book, full of clear explanations and easy to follow strategies.

I particularly like the activities as they provide you with a great opportunity to reflect on your own experiences and consider triggers. This gives the whole book a quite personalised feel.

Mindfulness for Anxiety is a book and guide perfect for teenagers who struggle with a brain that can be tiring and abusive at times.

As someone with an anxiety disorder, I can say this book was great! I really enjoyed the fact that it was interactive, even though I didn’t do any of the activities since one, I am not a fan of writing things down, and two, this is an E-ARC. The advice was good, and I especially liked the first fourth or so, which was basically talking about what causes anxiety and how it can affect your life. My only complaint was that a lot of the strategies/tips for calming down seemed very similar together. And not a complaint since it’s just a.person preference, but I will note that just as someone who isn’t very well-affected by meditation and physical practices for anxiety, I can’t say I will be able to use many of the activities mentioned. However, I did find a couple that I will try! Overall, I highly recommend this to every teenager who struggles with anxiety. You’re not alone, and this will hopefully help you feel great at times.
