This book will have you laughing out loud as Snowball, a quirky cat who thinks she is in charge of her Inn. Snowball also has matchmaking powers. When she realizes that her least favorite person Daniel, the handyman, and Sophie are meant to be together, she lets her guard down to bring them happiness. This was my first book by Kristen McKanagh but it definitely won't be my last. I plan to look up Snowball's first book. I received a copy through Netgalley. A review was not required.

The Twelve Days of Snowball by Kristen McKanagh Snowball is an adorable white ball of fluff with a cat's eye view of the world around her. She is just catty enough to invoke some humorous moments while she is playing matchmaker for her humans. Although Snowball has a couple of issues with Daniel, she sees that Sophie and Daniel belong together. An adorable and fun read. One of the best Christmas stories this year.

Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to preview the book.

I liked this book a lot more than I expected. I will admit to requesting it because I found the idea of a book told from the first person perspective of a kitten as something I had to see to believe. And it does start out pretty quirky. But it shifts as well to third person, and the Christmas romance parts work really well. I even found myself enjoying snowball's hijinks as the book went on.

If you are a fan of contemporary Christmas romances and want a sweet story (with a bit of kitty silliness), I highly recommend this book. It is exactly what it should be. And there are some fun "Twelve Days of Christmas" elements too!

I have not read the previous book and will still able to enjoy this one. It was a good start to my Christmas romance reading for the year.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher.

Well this was adorable. You don't need to read the first in the series to understand this book, they are companions but have separate plots. We follow a new inn manager coming from the city and moving to a small town. She has come old boyfriend baggage she is caring with her and just wants to do well at her job. Then we have the small town guy who is starting up a construction company building he new wing of the inn. He wants to help everyone and everything, sometimes overstepping. The book starts during the holiday season, with the characters meeting under a pear tree (twelve days of Christmas ring a bell) and the romance goes from there.

There is a constant back and forth of do they like me, do they not like me, do I like them between the characters. They try to work together to run the inn when the owners surprisingly have to leave. They are planning a Christmas market and managing all the guests needs. There is definitely chemistry between the characters they just need a little help getting there. This is where Snowball, the adorable inn cat, comes in. Snowball plays tricks and sets up events to keep the characters running into each other and forcing them to connect. Snowball, in her own mind, sets the two of them up.

I really liked this story, it was an adorable romance between the characters and perfect for Christmas season. I do wish the characters had started getting along a lot earlier and they had more time spent being couply. I also think that with this taking place at an inn there could have been some very interesting steamy scenes that I desperately think the story could have benefited from.

Welcome to the beautiful Weber Haus, a pretty Victorian Inn where the cat Snowball  resides when he is not trying to escape outside.  I really liked how this book was set at Christmas time and revolved around The Twelve Days of Christmas.  It was fun to anticipate the next number in the song.  It was cute, sweet, and very romantic as Sophie takes over the new hotel manager position. and Daniel's construction company is busy adding a new wing onto the inn.  I enjoyed the banter between Sophie and Daniel and the antics of Snowball to matchmake or just cause trouble for Daniel.  It was fun to see what would happen next.  This is a new author to me and I now need to see what else she has written.  I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

OMG I just love Snowball! I am definitely a cat person and this story totally enthralled me from the very start. A fun and heartwarming story and everything that Snowball gets up had me in stitches and I loved the matchmaking for Daniel and Sophie. There’s humour, there’s misunderstandings, there’s even a little angst and best of all there’s romance. It’s a lovely story that I really enjoyed.

This is a second book about Snowball, and I did not read the first one. However, the author gave enough background that I knew what had happened. This book is a sweet, easy book to read; good if you have been reading more "heavy" or serious books and need a break.

Told mostly from a third-person POV, Snowball also tells parts of the story. For the reader, I would like to have seen the sections when Snowball was telling the story printed in italic font. Sometimes when it would change from third-person to Snowball, it caused pause. This could be a slight problem for me because I tend to read quite fast.

The story from Books 1 was that Snowball had decided she wanted Emily and Lukas to be together and had been truly mean to Daniel whom she felt was interferring. New inn manager Sophie found Snowball up a tree and Daniel offers to help even though he knows he is going to be hurt by Snowball. It takes a while along with some real honesty from Sophie and Daniel, Snowball realizes she must stop being mean to Daniel and do what she can to being Sophie and Daniel together.

This is a story which you know will end with a "happily-ever-after," As you get to that point, you find yourself thinking that people can be so stupid when either trying to get in a relationship or trying to deny there is a relationship. As often as this happens in books, it must be what people do. Do we fear giving ourselves a happy ending? Are we fearful of giving up dreams for love? All part of The Twelve Days of Snowball. And yes, of course, The Twelve Days of Christmas does come into play throughout the book.

From a teacher's POV, this book could be recommended to upper middle school to high school level readers, but not part of a curriculum, as it is a sweet, clean romance.

The Twelve Days of Snowball is the 2nd book featuring Kristen McKanagh's cat Snowball.

Snowball lives at the Victorian B&B Inn, Weber Haus. Sophie Heidt is the new manager there and when Snowball vanishes on Sophie's first day Daniel, who is responsible for on-site construction goes to look for the matchmaking kitty. Snowball believes that Daniel and Sophie should be together, but do Daniel and Sophie feel the same?

I adored this hearty Christmas romance with its twelve Days of Christmas references which gave me festive feels. The characters of both Daniel and Sophie have been well crafted and it was amusing to read about all of Snowball's shenanigans. A great little heartwarming Christmassy story that I recommend.

I received a complimentary copy of this novel at my request from Kensington via NetGalley. This review is my own unbiased opinion.

This book was beyond being an amazing read. IT moves along at a pace which is perfect for the flow of the story being neither too fast nor too slow. You will love these characters and want to know more about them. This story will grab you and keep you reading till the end and needs to be on your TBR list. There is no doubt about it.

It's time for Christmas books, and Snowball is a fun way to start. This little kitten discovered her matchmaking superpower in the first book, and she is ready to exercise it to the fullest this time -- even if that means cooperating with her least favorite human, Daniel. Snowball's relationship with Daniel is one of the funniest and sweetest parts of the book, and it helps Sophie see Daniel in a different light than she had originally chosen.
Daniel and Sophie are a cute couple, but they definitely needed help to make a connection. I loved their connection over the 12 days of Christmas that seem to be coming to life around them. That was very funny, and I enjoyed looking for the next crazy event to come. There were lots of laughs in this book, and it was a great way to start my Christmas reading!

I was so excited when I got the arc for this one! I was so happy to have more fluffy white kitty fun as Snowball sure loves to play match maker and she sure did with Daniel and Sophie! Another cute, fluffy, holiday romance that everyone should pick up this holiday season!

While the second book in this series, this book can be read as a standalone with no problems at all. I love cats, Christmas, and Christmastime romance books. This book had it all! It's a sweet holiday romance with a cute kitty matchmaker. The varying POV is not really my preference, but it was a cute book.

Thank you to Kensington Books and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Snowball is up to her shenanigans again in her second book by Kristen McKanagh. Sophie takes the job of hotel manager at Weber Haus after her ex boyfriend steals her dream job at the Crown Royale, a very elite hotel. Daniel is working at the Weber Haus constructing the new wing. At first, Sophie and Daniel butt heads. Can Snowball weave her magic once again to make another happy couple?

If you read Snowball's Christmas, you'll definitely want to read this second book, also. It could be read as a stand-alone, also. I think there was more swearing in this book than the first one, which I didn't care for, but otherwise, it was a fun read.

This book releases Sep 28. Thanks to Net Galley for the free copy. All opinions expressed herein are strictly my own.

I loved that this story is told from Snowball’s perspective! After all, mischievous Snowball knows what’s going on! The Weber Haus bed and breakfast has hired Sophie as their new innkeeper, and the owners are called out of town on a family emergency. The December 31 construction deadline on the inn’s expansion project is near, and Sophie is also coordinating arrangements for the first ever Christmas Market to be held on the grounds. Snowball sure has her work cut out for her if she’s going to help Sophie. The Twelve Days of Snowball is a humorous and lovable story all wrapped up in Christmas charm! I look forward to more Snowball adventures!

A match-making cat. Need I say more?

I read the first book in this series, Snowball’s Christmas, and absolutely fell in love with Snowball, a mischievous cat who has a knack of pairing up couples. So, I was excited that Snowball’s story would be continued. This time, Snowball has her eyes set on Sophie, the new manager at Weber Haus, the Victorian inn where Snowball lives.

Snowball hated, Daniel, who is in charge of the expansion at the inn. She would attack Daniel every chance she got. But when Snowball notices Sophie might be attracted to Daniel, she sets out to help them fall in love. Snowball knows how to make people happy.

This was such a fun and heartwarming story. I liked seeing all the shenanigans Snowball would get in while trying to pair up Sophie and Daniel. I especially loved how the writer incorporated the Twelve Days of Christmas into the story. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves cats and is looking for a feel-good Christmas story.

This is the first book I have read by Kristen McKanagh - but it won't be the last.
I fell in love with Snowball and want a kitty just like her in my life. She takes her job as “official kitty” very seriously. This is a clean romance and I usually like a little steam but this story doesn't need it. Snowball knows that Daniel and Sophie are meant to be together and she will do anything it takes to make that happen. There is angst, misunderstandings, laughter, "the twelve days of Christmas", wonderful family and friends, and a great story that keeps you reading all to get us to a very HEA.
Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Happily Ever After Funny Wonderful characters Romantic Page-turner Action-packed Easy-to-read Great world building Entertaininghttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show/4220301370

Snowball has a new couple to help along. Sophie is the new manager at the B&B where she lives. Snowball isn't a fan of Daniel but she does like Sophie. And then she realizes that these two are meant for one another. This isn't deep- not at all- and you have to go along with the concept of a sentient cat who loves love. That was okay by me, especially on a day when a light happy read was in order. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. It's fun.
