While the story line was a bit predictable & there were some very minor editing issues, I enjoyed the ride and absolutely fell in love with Levi. There’s humor, great characters & steamy sex...everything I love in a romance! Thank you to the publisher for sending me an ARC in exchange for my review!

I enjoyed this book. It has a lot of elements I like in a book.....friendship, family, action, and some sex. No "draggy" parts.....just keeps moving along.

Her Renegade Cowboy is Levi an under cover US Marshall working on a ranch to watch and protect Lily a schoolteacher who a year previously was a victim of a horrific attack, other victims of this man were too frightened to go to court but Lily was prepared to testify against him no matter what.
Refusing to go into witness protection Levi’s remit was to watch and ensure no harm comes to her, when the attacker escapes from prison the action really ramps up.
Against all protocol Levi falls hard for Lily but she is unaware of his real role thinking he’s another cowboy on her friends ranch.
Very quickly their feelings escalate and they find themselves falling in love, so obviously they make love but although the sex scenes were good they did go on...and on, so much so I wished they’d just have a break so we could get back to some action...out of the bedroom!
The tension mounts up as Lily’s attacker tracks her down, Levi has to put feelings aside to ensure he does his job and save her safely.
A good story with depth and excitement, with a cast of characters that add much to the book.

Good addition to this series. Story was engaging and intense with interesting characters. Loved the snarky dialogue from Lily and her sister. Lots of alpha male characters but the women were strong and called bs when needed. Lots of heated scenes to enjoy too!

This is a very sexy story that has Lily, a survivor of violence, and Levi, the undercover US Marshall sent to protect her. He's undercover because Lily has rejected all assistance from the marshals when her attacker escapes, so he's forced to keep who he really is a secret. Lily just wants her life back and to recapture the woman she was before the attack.. Sparks quickly fly when Levi and Lily meet, but they're both keeping secrets that can threaten the foundation of the tenuous relationship they're beginning.

I loved the story and was totally engaged in it. The characters were compelling and the author made me care about them and feel invested in their getting a HEA ending. However, for me, the explicit sex was over the top and consumed far more pages than you would expect in a novel. It really, to me, took away from what would otherwise be a great book. So, for the story itself, 5 stars, but 3 stars for the redundant explicitness, leaving an overall rating of 4 stars.

MRC is an action packed, fast paced, drama filled read that had me insuspense till the last page. A great read, 4,5 stars.
