CW: This story included a kidnapping, and attempted rape.

Lily has hardened her heart from ever dating again, after suffering trauma from a deranged mentor. Seeing her cousins new ranch hand unlocks some desires she hasn't felt in a long time. Levi is there to do a job, keep an eye on Lily. She has refused witness protection so he is there to watch but don't touch.

With watching over her, he has enjoyed seeing the feisty sassy side of her and can't hep but want to protect her. Both are keeping secrets, Lily hasn't told him of her past but when her attacker escapes from prison Levi is determined to keep her safe. His secret of being an undercover US Marshall is potentially going to push her away but her safety is his priority.

This story had some very steamy scenes, with high stakes. I loved seeing Lily own her strength and Levi being the alpha protector. The ending was tough to read but I am glad Lily got the ending she needed. If you are ready for a high paced, steamy read this one is for you.

I received an arc for review via NetGalley all opinions are my own and given freely.

This one will fill the craving for romance with suspense. Lilly meets a new cowboy named Levi. It is also the trigger that has her changing her tune on a few things. They both have secrets though that as they are uncovered it becomes quite dangerous. Turn the pages to see if Levi can save his desire.

She had her chance at Witness Protection. She chose to reject it. Is her life in danger now? Why is Levi Roberts working on the ranch Lily Donovan's cousin Jacob owns? Could Lily's past be about to meet her front and center? Is it too late for Lily or could the man that once nearly killed her get his chance to finish the job now that he has escaped from prison? Levi is an undercover wrangler. He is an ex U. S. Army Ranger, now he is a deputy U. S. Marshal and a part of the fugitive recovery task force.

Both Lily and Levi have secrets. She intends on keeping her past a secret, and Levi intends on keeping his purpose of being in her life a secret. However, they are both drawn to one another, and this is from first glance. More than knowing the danger that Lily is facing, Levi can sense her trauma. Levi must determine whether or not to act on their growing feelings for one another in order to do his job.

While The Renegade Cowboy was the third book in the Moving Violations trilogy it did quite well as a standalone novel. Having not had the opportunity to read the first two books I was able to be fully invested in the story, all while having a very good idea of the previous couples in the first two books.

I did enjoy the suspense in this story once it started to kick in. My only reticence was the overabundance of steamy scenes. As the book began its focus on the danger that faced Lily, it grew stronger.

Many thanks to and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. This one about what Lily struggled with and how she deals with her life. Levi is sent to Deer Haven and gets close to Lily and protects her from any danger. Plenty of action to keep you turning the pages.

Lora Leigh is the gold standard when writing strong men with a Western flavor. This romance has two people fighting their attraction with the added complication of their pasts.

Scorching hot & will keep you guessing throughout the book on how it’ll turn out. Levi is an undercover US Marshal hired to keep an eye on Lily because the man she had put behind bars (because he tried to kill her) has escaped prison & no one can find him. Lily & Levi have the hots for each other right from the beginning although Lily took a little longer to admit it. Once she does, the pages are on fire…so much steam between them, you can practically see it. Highly recommend reading this to see what happens to them & the escaped fugitive.

Thanks to NetGalley & the publisher for advanced copy in exchange for my honest review

I can't say that I enjoyed this book at all. The heroine was truly an unlikable idiot at times. She had no regard for her own safety and as a trauma survivor she should have. The hero is a US Marshall who ends up in Lily's bed almost immediately. She withholds information from him and he withholds the true reason that he's at the ranch which leads to a massive blow up. All is eventually resolved and there is the requisite HEA

This is a Romance Suspense, and this is the third book in the Moving Violations series. I have say this book was very disappointing for me. The first little bit of the book was a little bit of romance then there was a lot of steamy romance. I have no problems with steamy romance parts, but this book the characters basically just jumped in bed with each other. I also do not think two main characters of this book had chemistry or fit together. The suspense in this book was so low until the last 15% of the book. What I want from a Romance Suspense is a good mix of Suspense and Romance, and this book just did not have that mix. I also did not connect to any of the characters of this book. I am very sad that this book just did not work for me. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (St. Martin's Griffin) or author (Lora Leigh) via NetGalley, so I can give honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

Unfortunately, this one just didn’t work for me. DNF'd at 30%. The story line felt so rushed. One day they meet and the next they are hugging Levi expressing his attraction and how much he wants Lily. I couldn’t get past Lily’s spoilt bratty attitude and, what were those lines Levi was using trying to get Lily to let her guard down and accept that she also has feelings for him. This had me rolling my eyes on second and mad the next. This one was my first Lora Leigh and will be picking up other works by her.
I would like to thank NetGalley, Publisher and author for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Lily and Levi's story is a nice mix of mystery, suspense, and romance.

Lily finds an attraction and connection with Levi, a cowboy working on her uncle's farm.
They have nice chemistry, but she doesn't know at first that he is working undercover. When she is put in danger, he will do anything to save her.

I did find a few of Lily's decisions about protecting herself to be frustrating. They do allow Levi to come in and help as well as playing into the mystery/suspense. I just wish she had been a bit smarter in some cases.

This is the third book in the series but can be read as a standalone.

I love Lora Leigh's stories and have been a huge fan over the years. Her Renegade Cowboy was icing to the cake. Another book that was added to my every growing book list.

Lily will bring you with full on angst. There is more to her story and you are itching to see how it unfolds. Levi has a world of regrets, but with Lily in clear view.. watch out! There is no stopping this man. I devoured this book over the weekend. Its a story packed with heat and sprinkled with suspense. Its a story you want to read!

Lily Donovan barely survived her past trauma and has returned to teach in Deer Haven. Her family is there and she slowly deals with her occasional nightmares, nightmares that increase when she learns that the man who almost killed her has escaped from prison. Levi Roberts, former Army Ranger, has signed on at the Rocking D Ranch, working for Lily’s cousin Jacob. He is here, undercover with the U.S. Marshals Service, to protect Lily until her attacker is captured. He didn’t plan on falling in love with her, he didn’t plan on being attracted to her fiery spirit, but now protecting her is his personal mission. Lily had no intention of getting involved with Levi, but the explosive attraction between them blazed out of control. She has never been so happy, so satisfied, but is her happiness at risk when she learns who Levi really is? When her life is once again threatened will she fight to save her life and her future with Levi? I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. **3.5 Stars**

Lily has her walls built high after a traumatic experience and she is not looking for a guy. Too bad there is a new cowboy working on her family's ranch, and he is determined to get as close as possible to her, regardless of those walls.

This was my first book by this author. It started off with a lot of tension and some hostility between Levi and Lily, but I felt like it moved in the other direction very quickly from there, almost bordering on insta-lust/insta-love in a way that didn't quite feel natural or I didn't quite feel or buy into it. Levi and Lily definitely had chemisty and I loved that Levi seemed to put in a lot of effort to try and earn Lily's trust.

Lily and Levi spent most of the book keeping big secrets from each other, which I am not a huge fan of, and which seems the polar opposite of "love" but that is just something I struggle with in terms of some story lines so that is probably a "its a me issue". I think the book was well written and I did really like Levi's character the most overall. I would definitely like to read some other books by this author as this was my first book to see how they compare to this story.

Lily has been keeping secrets and she isn't the only one, Levi isn't all he seems either. Can these two find each other in spite of their secrets?
I enjoyed finding out in Her Renegade Cowboy the latest story in Lora Leigh's Moving Violations series. Lily is determined to live her life in spite of her fear. But she is struggling to keep her secrets and enjoy her family and friends. Levi has a job but Lily isn't quite what he expected. When his secrets come out will he loose all he has gained? I thoroughly seeing Lily and Levi find their way. Danger and lies surround them but will love save them or make things much worse? This story is well written by Ms. Leigh. The characters are well rounded and believable. I loved and felt their emotions as they struggled to accept themselves and each other. I loved this story and look forward to more from Ms. Leigh in the future.

This is book 3 in the Moving Violations series and while the 1st book isn't necessary to read first, I would read book 2 before this one as this character was seen a lot in that book. And finding out she has a problem was mentioned in that book as well. In this one we get Lily Donovan and Levi Roberts' story. Lily is a school teacher who learned the hard way that men aren't to be trusted. Levi is the new cowboy at her cousin's ranch. He tempts her in ways she thought had died. But when she discovers the secret he has been hiding, can she trust him? Levi saw his share of trouble while he was a Ranger. He is an expert at undercover work who has been tasked with finding a dangerous man. And when he meets Lily, she tempts like no one else ever has. But when she ends up in the hands of the man he has been hunting, can he save her and show her that her trust wasn't misplaced?

I really enjoyed this story! Lily has this past that I really wasn't expecting and it broke my heart for her. And honestly, the main reason that I knocked this down from 5 stars is because I almost felt like what happened to her was slightly glossed over. Yes, she had issues because of it but then it was like they were just gone because of Levi. And that isn't how these work in reality. Levi is this alpha, protective man who is like sex on a stick! I loved him and the chemistry these two had together! I wish there had been slightly more suspense but on a whole it was still a good read for me and I would read it again! I would love to see a story with the two brothers that are mentioned in most of this series though!! They intrigue me!

Lily is dealing with a stalker. Levi is a US Marshall assigned to protect her. Nice storyline with sparks, steam, action and romance. A good story and an enjoyable read. A nice addition to the MovingViolations series.

This is the third book in the Moving Violations series. This book was good and I really enjoyed it. The characters were so interesting and it was great to see characters from the previous books in the series. I thought the pace dragged a little, but not too bad. The ending was really unexpected which is always fun.

While still a college student working toward her dream of being a teacher, Lily Donovan was assaulted and almost murdered. Scared and unsure, Lily returns to her home town of Deer Haven and the cradle of her family. Now, a year later, Lily is a teacher, doing what she loves and has started to reclaim her life. Lily has only shared her experience with two people - her sister and her cousin Jacob's wife. They've been her rock and her sounding board. But when Lily is notified by the Marshall's service that her attacker has escaped from custody, she politely refuses their offer of protection and tucks the information away.

Levi Roberts is the new hand on her cousin's ranch. Like most of Jacob's hands - and Jacob himself - Levi is former military and maybe something more. Lily can't help but notice the tall, good looking man. To fight the attraction she rebuffs Levi at every turn. Levi isn't willing to give up, though. Lily intrigues him, she fascinates him, she amuses him and for so many reasons she should be off limits to him. Ignoring the voice that tells him to back off, he finally convinces Lily to join him for a horseback ride. As much as Levi frustrates her, Lily is surprised to find how much she enjoys his company. More importantly, though, he makes her feel safe. Something she desperately needs.

Levi is more than he lets on though. Keeping Lily safe is part of the reason he's in Deer Haven. The chemistry between them is electric, but each is keeping a secret and both worry what will happen when those secrets are revealed. When Lily's past finally catches up with her, Levi discovers nothing is more important to him than Lily.

I enjoyed the by play between Levi and LIly, but I felt like the early stages of their relationship contained just a few too many bedroom scenes that kept cutting into both the emotion of the relationship and the tension surrounding the hunt for Lily's escaped attacker. Once the story hit midway with the hunt intensifying and the danger growing closer, the pace picked up and the bedroom scenes were more naturally placed. In the end I found this to be an enjoyable addition to the Moving Violations series. While it can be read as a stand alone without too much trouble, I suggest reading at least the previous book in the series - both because it will shed light on the references to past events and because it, too, is a really great story

This is the 3rd book in the series but it can be read as a standalone. Lily learned the hard way that men aren’t to be trusted and then she meets Levi. Sparks fly but Levi is hiding some dangerous secrets of his own. What will happen when Lily is in danger? Fast-paced read with lots of twists and turns, drama and steam. Great characters with plenty of sizzle. I liked it.

This book was off the charts in its romance and suspense. The suspense really had my heart pounding for Lily because I did not know what was going to happen. I liked Lily's romance with Levi. She did not know who he really was and she had her own secrets too. I enjoyed their butting heads which infuriated Levi. and made the book so interesting. Lily taught second grade. She was such a stubborn, very independent, and very strong willed character. Levi seemed to be the perfect match if their secrets did not ruin their new relationship. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
