This is the third book in the Moving Violations series involving retired military men/cowboys and the women who conquer them while dealing with their own problems. Lily Donovan experienced a traumatic event 2 years earlier and is still dealing with the repercussions from it, while trying to carry on with her life. Unfortunately, the past catches up with her, causing Levi Roberts, an undercover U.S. Marshal, to step outside of his assignment (protecting her without her knowledge). She feels betrayed when she finds out, but finally realizes there is strength in numbers and she does not have to handle her problems alone. There were some editing issues with spelling and correct word usage but an enjoyable read overall. #netgalley

Thank you to St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the eARC to read and review!

I really enjoyed "Her Renegade Cowboy". It was intense, steamy, and had a great plot.

Lily is a spitfire who doesn’t trust men, especially after the trauma she endured over a year ago. Ever since she’s been secretly struggling to reclaim who she used to be. Her plans are somewhat thrown for a loop by her attraction to Levi. I like Lily’s personality and how close she is with her family, especially with her sister. She’s a tough cookie but has a soft, loving side and quick wit.

Levi is dedicated to his job, tasked with secretly protecting Lily as a new hire on her cousin’s ranch while at the same time hunting a fugitive. His fierce desire for Lily grows exponentially throughout the story, so much that he can’t seem to stay away. I liked Levi too but he really overstepped between his job and his pursuit of Lily. He’s definitely perfect for her and their romance is raging hot. But the truth was withheld for far too long because communication is key. I increasingly worried about how Lily would react just because of all she’s experienced and all she’s done to move on with her life.

There was never a dull moment that I flew through this book. "Her Renegade Cowboy" is a real page-turner. I liked how much Lily and Levi grew throughout. Lora Leigh really knows how to write a captivating and steamy romance. An enjoyable and satisfying read.

This was an easy and entertaining read, good for the beach or mountain vacation. Lily was pretty stubborn about confiding to people who could help her, give her some good advice, and look out for her. Levi seemed to be pretty perceptive for a cowboy (with good reason). Lily had trust issues, which were very understandable but, fortunately, Levi was able to breakthrough her barriers. All in all, they both had to decide if what they feel for each other was worth it.

Her Renegade Cowboy is an excellent suspenseful romance by Lora Leigh. She never fails to delight the reader. Lily has secrets she doesn't want to be known but didn't figure on Levi. He's used to dangerous jobs but wasn't ready for the attraction to Lily. I found the story exciting and steamy in spots. Good solid writing.

We return to the series with Lily and Levi. Lily is a school teacher and rebuilding her life after some really horrendous things. Levi is new to town and working in her cousins farm. They are attracted to each other immediately and can’t stay away. Levi has some secrets that when they come out are going to blow up their foundation to the core. She’s hiding things too and hers are deadly. We have Justice and his brothers returning and I can’t wait for each one of them to fall but now Lily and Levi are quite the pair. I enjoyed this one quite a bit.

This is a really good book. The main characters are Lily and Levi. Lili had a situation that had someone trying to kill her. Levi is sent in to protect her. They fall in love and try to protect each other.

What a great read. It kept me reading from page to page and at times it even had me sitting on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going to happen next. The author did a great job of telling this story and I fell in love with the characters. Lily and Levi were great together. The chemistry between them was hot! The author did a great job of telling their story from beginning to end. I am looking forward to seeing what else this author has out their. Thanks NetGalley. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

This story centers around school teacher Lily Donovan, whom we have met in previous stories, and Levi Roberts.
Lily is still recovering from the last man she trusted but when she sees the new cowboy working her cousin’s ranch, sparks fly.
Meanwhile, Levi, a former Army Ranger, is working undercover searching for a man that has no good intentions and could endanger the town.
Even as a relationship sort of develops between Lily and Levi, their worlds collide and brings danger to Lily.
I have to confess, I never warmed up to Lily leaving me wanting for more, while Levi was a very good character. The plot and thus the book, were ok for an afternoon reading.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley and St Martins. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

ARC received for review

We've meet Lily in the previous book. I wanted her to hook up with Justice (Strong, Silent Cowboy) but Ms. Leigh finds someone new for her (I'm kinda of glad cause Justice was an arse in this book). Levi falls for Lily and has a lot of work cut out for him to get her to fall for him. Lots of drama, angst, adventure, sexy times, and action as they hunt the bad guy.

Now is Justice and his brothers going to get their own books....as long as Justice stops being a major pain.

Holy moly... if you've never read a Lora Leigh book, grab a fan lol

As a long time reader, this book sizzles like many of her others. While the story was great, there were plot points that were predictable. However when you've read an author for 10+ years that might happen.

Lora never fails to weave the plot into a story to build up the relationships within. But if you're not a fan of steamy, scorching pages then this may not be your cup of tea. I loved the main character, Lily Donovan and her strength. Her cowboy, Levi was a bit predictable but it didnt distract from the story. I do wish we had a bit more to his history but again, personal preference.

If our looking for a burn the sheets scorcher with a fantastic story, this is the book for you.

Lily's has escaped her violent boyfriend who is now escaped from prison.
Refusing to go into protection she goes to stay on a ranch and protect herself.
Levi is working undercover to protect her. But he doesn't expect for it to become move than that.

Really enjoyed this , Lots of steamy action but unlike some this actually had a decent plot.

Her Renegade Cowboy is everything you expect from a Lora Leigh book. If you like low heat levels in your romance, take a hard pass. The steam rises from the scorching hot pages and you will be fanning yourself as you say "oh my goodness". With her time proven formula of equal parts love scenes and suspense, Leigh weaves a tale of a tough as nails teacher, Lily Donovan. Suffering a major trauma in her college years, Lily moved home and finished school online and definitely is not looking for love. Levi Roberts, former ranger and new farm hand, is working under pretenses but one sight of Lily and he is hot under the collar. Taming a gun shy school teacher leads to a rocky start and throw in some secrets to make for a hard earned HEA. Sensual and fast paced, Her Renegade Cowboy is an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. My voluntary, unbiased review is based upon a review copy from Netgalley.

Deliciously hot with some added suspense.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Leigh has become a go to author for me. I get lost in her stories every time! This one is no different.
Her characters are always so well matched. She does not shy away from the heat and passion that develops and builds the relationship. Her stories are in-depth and interesting! I just devour her books! So why wouldn’t she be a go-to?
This story is a romantic suspense and that is one of my favorite genres to read. Her Renegade Cowboy was a bit light on the suspense portion and this would totally be a 5 star if it would have been ramped up just a bit. Overall, I loved the story! The secondary characters add so much to the development of the book as well.
Her Renegade Cowboy is a fun, smexy, and all consuming story that is so worth the read! Check it out!
I really loved Lily and Levi. Levi is extremely alpha and very protective of Lily. Lily is strong willed and sassy. I love how strong Lily is despite all that has been done to her. There are lots of secrets I enjoyed the writing quite a lot. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.
Levi is every reason to read this book. I have found that this author always provides the type of dominant, take charge heroes that I love, and she never makes them feel the same. You don't get the same man with a different name. You clearly can see the difference in the men but they are all very much a man.
For the most part, I also enjoy the heroines in her books but I will say Lilly was not an easy character to like. She's been through a trauma that has made her very guarded and defensive. It's understandable but also hard to enjoy. For me, that didn't matter all that much since I'm all about the hero.
Overall, I have really enjoyed this series. It's not your typical cowboy trope. They all have some military/law enforcement background and they know how to protect the women they fall for. The suspense is well written and not predictable.
A big thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This book is part of a series (3) but reads well as a stand alone. I enjoy reading Ms. Leigh's books and this is no exception. This is not my favorite book by any means. I found Lily to be hot and cold, sometimes I liked her sometimes I found her to be a snot. This is supposed to be a suspense-but it is very light on the suspense, but there is lots of sex. I did like Levi. I think more of Lily's story could have been given sooner and that might have changed how I felt about her. Overall I found this to be a quick, relatively fun read. 3 stars
Thanks to netgalley for the free arc of this book in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed the plot premise but since it didn’t his the suspense mark it got knocked down from a 4 star to a 3.
I have been a long time fan of Lora Leigh and quietly squealed when we got the notice of this arc.
Lily is an elementary school teacher who anonymously testified against a praise snd murderer after she escaped his clutches. She refused witness protection. Now that man has escaped prison and the US Marshall’s think he’s heard her way so put Levi undercover as a ranch hand on her cousin’s ranch to keep an eye out. They are immediately attracted to each other and start up a relationship. She finds out Levi lied and is pissed so when she gets a call from the escaped convict saying he has her sister she does what he says. Levi and crew are now stuck having to find out where she went and hopefully save her in time (no worries hea is awaiting)!
While this was a good romance book it lacked in suspense. Honestly I forgot until the last quarter of the book it was supposed to be romance suspense at all. I didn’t mind her steamy love scenes as always but it seemed like too much and the characters really needed those pages for more development/communication.
These are definitely standalones even though this is the third installment in the series I knew exactly what was happening and never felt like I was missing anything which I appreciated. While it didn’t hit me like other of her books I will still be picking up the next one!
This is the first time I have read this author. I thought the writing was choppy and she jumped into new territory in just a chapter. I absolutely hated Lily and all the other women. Frankly, there were complete bitches. What is up with women having to be tough and want to punch people? Women can be strong without resorting to the usual male machismo that gets thrown around. Who hides that kind of trauma from their family when there is someone who can help them? The book also includes the h in a TSTL moment where she decides to take on a serial rapist/killer on her own.
I don't think this author is for me.
Lily, a grade school teacher, has some big secrets. She helped put away a rapist and murderer by testifying against him. Nobody but her sister and best friend knows what really happened. Lily gets a call from the Marshall service telling her the man she helped convict has escaped. They want her to go in to witness protection but Lily refuses. Levi is a new ranch hand on Lily’s cousins ranch. He is a former Army Ranger sent undercover to watch over Lily. Levi is part of the fugitive recovery team on the Marshall service. Levi is only supposed to keep watch but he falls for Lily. But when the secrets are revealed will either of them able to forgive?
Secrets. Action. Suspense. Sex. What more could you ask for? I knew when the secrets were uncovered, Lily was going to be upset. I know Levi’s was a little worse but she kept quiet about hers. Would recommend it. It was good.
Oh my, I never get tired of reading this authors books. I have read everything she has wrote, some of them over and over. What happens when a coy bow undercover for the US Marshall Service., falls for his assignment in a big way? Can he keep her safe and capture the bad guys? What happens when she finds out he’s not just a cowboy?
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own
