Another review I forgot to submit? WTF was I doing last year?!

So. A sad story here from me. DNF at 54%. I just couldn't get into this - a mixture of the writing not being for me, the use of lupus garous throwing me every time I read it because I'm so famliar with Lous-garous that I just couldn't deal with that, and not feeling anything for anyone involved. At all. The fact it's snowy and Christmassy and it's only September probably didn't help matters for me.
Shame.

I have voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this title given to me through NetGalley. This book was just absolutely wonderful. It was just so easy to get lost in and I just couldn’t put it down. I just lost myself within this amazing story. I most definitely will read more by this author.

Mmm, my relationship with Terry Spear’s wolves is a bit strained. After my last (and a bit disappointing) encounter with Legend of the White Wolf I skipped Terry’s stories for a while. But the days before Christmas, I saw Jingle Bell Wolf on Netgalley, so I decided to give it another go. Jingle Bell Wolf is the second book in the Wolff Brothers series But the story takes place in Silver Town, which was starred in several other series. For instance in Between a Wolf and a Hard Place I had already met some of the Silvertown’s residents. And now we meet Landon Wolff and his sisters Kayla and Roxie and his brother Blake. They are the proud owners of a ski resort in Silvertown, where Gabrielle is taking a holiday. Supposedly with her two jaguar friends Odette and Zelda. But unfortunately, they were held up by a job, leaving Gabrielle all by herself. When Gabrielle is caught by Landon for swimming after opening hours, he is surprised by his attraction to her. When he learns she is alone in the resort, he offers to learn her how to ski. During their time together, both Landon and Gabrielle realize that they really enjoy each other’s company. But Gabrielle’s life is elsewhere and Landon can ‘t leave his resort. What will their future’s bring? A cute and sweet read. Maybe a bit to sweet, since the story is without a lot of exciting adventures, or any suspense. So, a bit boring in my opinion. But lovely for a winter read near the crackling fire.

The characters are cute and funny and Landon is a wonderful gentleman. His siblings are funny and Gabrielle is a spunky she wolf.

Three out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Gabrielle Lowell is meeting her friends at resort in Silver Town for a vacation. The only problems, she doesn’t ski, and her friends aren’t coming as expected because of work. Gabrielle is a veterinarian and isn’t looking for a relationship. Landon Wolff is one of the owners of the resort. He’s sent to the pool to take care of an interloper in the pool in off hours. A glimpse of a beautiful woman has Landon intrigued and hoping to meet her. When Gabrielle and Landon meet and sparks fly around the Christmas holiday, it just become Jingle Bell Wolves all the way.

Terry Spear’s next book in her Silver Town Wolf series with Jingle Bell Wolf. She brings together two shifters who aren’t really looking for a relationship but become attracted at first sight. The heroine is a veterinarian who’s not looking to relocate to a cold climate, but between her friends and the citizens of Silver Town try to talk her into a change of plans. As she gets to know the owners of the resort and people of Silver Town, she realizes how lonely she is back home. Jingle Bell Wolf brings a man who is concentrating on the upcoming Christmas celebrations. He takes time out of his schedule to include the new guest at the resort. As these two wolves get to know each other their feelings grow up living in two different states just may lead to the relationship going anywhere. Terry Spear’s next installment in the Silver Town Wolves Series Jingle Bell Wolf. As they work together to solve a mystery the attraction heats up. The Christmas holiday is the perfect time to find love and romance. A woman who doesn’t think she’ll like the cold and snow finds out she loves it and possibly a co-owner of a ski resort. A must read for Terry Spear fans. A great Christmas story full or romance, attraction a little danger and a ton of fun. Wonderful characters who’ll put you in the holiday spirit all year long.

3.5 Hearts In this story we meet Gabrielle and Landon. Gabrielle comes to town for a vacation where she meets Landon who owns the lodge she is staying at.

The Christmas spirit is alive and well in this story. However, after all the books that Spear has written in the shapeshifter genre it is hard to come up with anything new.

This was a fun holiday shifter romance if you're looking for something that's fairly light-hearted. There is an element of mystery/suspense, but it honestly felt like that part of the story was revealed in the first half of the book so it lacked the tension I would have liked. Similarly, the two protagonists hit it off right in the first few chapters, so if you like the instant attraction/fated mates trope you'll enjoy this one.

Rebel who fears the snow meets a wolf looking to settle down. With a charming town, amazing shops and characters you'll fall in love with, Jingle Bell Wolf is sure to please.

Some parts are repetitive but the characters are lovable and you'll want to read their stories to get a full picture of the community.

A wonderful take to keep you warm and cozy during the winter months.

I have been provided with a review copy of Jingle Bell Wolf from NetGalley for an impartial review. This is the second book in the Wolff Brother series and I just loved getting to reenter this amazing world. Oh my gosh this story was just epic. I just couldn’t put this story down and I was just captivated by everything that was taking place. The author truly outdid herself with this story. This story just had my emotions all over the place and I am so sad to see this book end. I just can’t wait to see what’s next from this author.

This book was a nice, holiday read, even for those of us who pop in and out of these sets of books. I'm one of those people, so I appreciate that these books can be read as standalone or as part of the larger world.

Gabrielle has some unresolved issues around snow, but she has been convinced by her gal pals that they should all go skiing as their yearly trip. She arrives first and ends up breaking some rules. Her addiction to swimming doesn't stop her from entering the pool after it's closed, sending Landon her way. He's part-owner of the lodge and usually swims after hours himself. From first glimpse, he is smitten. Being that they are both wolf shifters, and the town itself is shifter run, it's no surprise to them that they are able to easily chat. It evolves from there, with lots of smutty goodness and all that comes along with it. Oh, and lots of skiing!

This book made me wish for the holidays and a nice ski trip, complete with all the hot cocoa I could drink. As Gabrielle slowly starts to think about a more permanent trip here, her gal pals are working a possible murder case that keeps them away. There's a lot of scheming and plotting, but everything (including the murder mystery) works itself out for a nice HEA.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks/Casablanca for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This was a fun book to read. It has mystery, suspense, romance, and is paranormal as well. I liked all the main characters. Gabrielle and Landon are cute together. This is a feel good book. Just a pleasure to read. I hope that we will see HEA for Zelda and Odette as well. 4 stars

Spear’s wolf shifters are a great source of fun and entertainment. Gabrielle and Landon do not disappoint. Great addition to the series. Enjoy laughing at the shenanigans that they get up to and seeing different shifters interact with the wolves.

3.5 stars--JINGLE BELL WOLF is the second instalment in Terry Spear’s contemporary, adult WOLFF BROTHERS paranormal, romance series-a spin off from the author’s Silver Town Wolf series. This is lodge owner/ski instructor gray wolf shifter Landon Wolff, and veterinarian/ gray wolf shifter Gabrielle Lowe’s story line. JINGLE BELL WOLF can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. There is a slight cross-over with the author’s Heart of the Jaguar series, a series that has had no new instalments for several years. You do not have to have read either of the previously mentioned series to follow the current time line.

Told from third person perspectives JINGLE BELL WOLF follows veterinarian and gray wolf shifter Dr. Gabrielle Lowe as she embarks on a one-week Christmas vacation at a shifter wolf owned ski resort in Silver Town, Colorado, a vacation arranged by her friends and jaguar shifters Odette and Zelda Bellamy. Odette and Zelda are JAG special forces operatives, and are currently on assignment in Florida leaving our heroine to vacation on her own but Gabrielle is not alone for long when she trespasses after hours, and finds herself facing lodge co-owner and shifter Landon Wolf. Immediately attracted to one another, Landon spends the week with our heroine, a week wherein our couple find themselves falling in love, and Gabrielle if offered the position of lead veterinarian in Silver Town, Colorado.

Meanwhile, Odette and Zelda’s assignment continues to perplex the JAG special forces operatives until a familiar face is recognized in Silver Town, Colorado.

The relationship between Landon and Gabrielle is one of immediate attraction but Silver Town’s female population is greatly outnumbered by the shifter males, and in this, Gabrielle begins to attract the attention of all unmated shifter men. In an effort to woo our story line heroine, Landon spends most of his time with Gabrielle Lowe, swimming and skiing, time where he finds himself falling in love. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful secondary and supporting characters including Landon’s sibings: Blake and his mate Nicole, sisters Kayla and Roxie; shopkeeper Maxine Fox, tea shop owner Silva; Pack leaders Darien and Lelandi Silver; Gabrielle’s former fling Brando Redfern, as well as several characters previously introduced in the Silver Town Wolf series.

JINGLE BELL WOLF is a story of family and friendships, relationships and love. Like many of Terry’s previous story lines, much of the premise of JINGLE BELL WOLF reads like filler wherein the reader is privy to little UBIs, an infinitely detailed world building that has little to do with the overall story line. The premise is lively and enjoyable; the romance is captivating; the characters are energetic and interesting.

Love the book and happy ever after. Couldn’t put book down. Sparks between Gabriel and Landon was fantastic. Would read more of this author

This is book 2 in the Wolff Brothers series and it can absolutely be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading book 1 just because it is good as well and you meet this character in that book. Gabrielle is on vacation at a ski lodge in Silver Town, Colorado. She was supposed to be there with her 2 best friends, but they were stuck on a job. And since she was alone, she decides to go swimming in the lodge pool after it's closed. Landon isn't about to let a guest buck the rules, but when he goes to oust the rule breaker-he realizes that Gabrielle is a wolf shifter. And he hopes that she could be someone more to him.

I really like this series so far. Landon and his family make me laugh with their antics with each other. But they are just genuinely good people. Landon wants someone to share his life with, and he is hopeful that could be Gabrielle. The lengths he goes to in order to spend time with her and get to know her just made me love him. This town is always so welcoming to outsiders that are looking for their place. And I still love that about them. Gabrielle is a vet and she isn't afraid to help when needed. I loved that she was finally finding a place that she could truly belong. Overall, it was a sweeter read than the first one but honestly this story was right for these characters.

It just wouldn’t be Christmas time for this Paranormal Romance/Shifter Romance lover without another installment in either the worlds of Silver Town Wolves or Heart of the Wolf series without a holiday story – and this time we get to go forward in the sub-series, Wolff Brothers, for another intense, funny, and romantic adventure this time with Landon and Gabrielle in Jingle Bell Wolf.

Gabriella, a wolf shifter from Florida, is vacationing at the local ski lodge – or she’s supposed to be with her friends but they’ve been delayed for a bit so she’s on her own. Deciding to take a swim in the heated pool after closing hours might not have been her wisest idea, but it was so tempting. Busted by one angry wolf, Gabriella gets an up-close and personal introduction to Landon, co-owner of the lodge. This trip just might have some advantages after all.

Landon’s been searching for his mate or at least keeping a keen eye out for her to show up in his life. He doesn’t expect the misbehaving guest swimming after hours in the pool to be more than a trouble-maker. But once discovering that Gabriella’s not only a wolf shifter, a guest, and a very interesting female Landon calms down enough to actually talk to the lovely lady. Since she’s on her own and has a bit of a fear of skiing, Landon will offer to teach her and show her around town. Gabriella has an intense dislike of change, she fights it at every opportunity so getting her to actually put on skis and giving this a shot is probably a bigger deal than Landon ever imagined.

With an intense attraction fueling their time together, some background shenanigans by her friends, and the chance to take over the veterinarian practice in Silver Town – well, Gabriella’s dislike of change just might need to be overcome. I had such fun with Jingle Bell Wolf. A likable couple, the chance to revisit a town I love, seeing familiar faces again from previous stories all combined to make this one an enjoyable trip back to a world I love.

If you love Paranormal Romance, especially Shifter Romance then you’ll want to check out Jingle Bell Wolf for yourself – and perhaps discover a fascinating new world (if you aren’t already addicted to Heart of the Wolf or Silver Town stories).

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

4.5/5 stars!

When the gray wolf shifter heroine arrives at the hero's ski resort for a girls' vacation, she came alone since her jaguar girlfriends were in a mission. The gray wolf shifter hero became captivated with the heroine and wants to get to know her more. As the two become closer, the heroine must choose: stay or leave?

This is a great addition to the world that Terry Spear created. I enjoyed the relationship that build up between the heroine and the hero. The secondary characters also made the whole book enjoyable to read, especially the strong familial bonds and female friendships. The holiday vibe of the story added another appeal to the story. Plus the animals were so adorable! As a personal preference, I would have liked some more details added in the story. Overall, a great holiday romance book by Terry Spear.

**Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the review copy. All opinions and thoughts in the review are my own.**

A sweet and spicy paranormal romance. No angst, a very light mystery, and lots of fun, family time, hanging with friends, and holiday cheer. Perfect for reading while curled up in your comfy chair, drinking a cup of hot chocolate.

Many thanks to Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley for an advance copy of this. My thoughts and opinions are my own and without bias or favor or expectation.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

The Silver Town wolves are so much fun and I loved that we continue with the newcomers that bought the resort. This time, Landon meets a rule breaker she-wolf and falls hard! Gabrielle really isn't much of a rule breaker but her swimming after hours allows the two to meet and starts off a chain of events and the beginning of a beautiful mating.

There a bit of a mystery that is involved so Nicole is brought in and Landon's family is a large part of his life and the lodge. Good thing that Gabrielle fits in so well.

Lots of chuckles as there were matchmakers behind the scenes hoping that there would be sparks between Gabrielle and a handsome wolf.

Fun to read about Landon and Gabrielle but so much added to the story when we see previous characters from Silver Town in the story.
