Hadley returned home after a very public terrible break up in LA. While back home she keeps running into her ex (Cam/Tony) from high school that broke up with her on a post note before leaving for college. To make matters worse (or better depending on how you want to look at it) Hadley’s grandmother is going to sell business/building to Cam so he can open a restaurant in their home town.

Cam is going through his own issues after being sidelined from his dream football career due to a knee injury eight months before Hadley’s return to Seashell Harbor.

As the two are forced to work together to put together a fundraising gala for Hadley’s grandmother and gain favor to take over the business/building sparks began to fly again.

I loved how these two were reintroduced to each other and how their story developed together. Their home town and families are fantastic and felt very much like my own growing up. I absolutely loved listening to this story!

Thank you Orangesky Audio and NetGalley for an advance copy of this audiobook!

Loved it! Miranda Liasson is a new author to me and I will be looking for her books in the future. Such an entertaining, romantic and unpredictable second-chance love story. Forced to come home after an embarrassing Hollywood breakup, Hadley returns to find her Grandmother selling the Pooch Palace. In the back of her mind Hadley always thought she would inherit the business. It appears her first love, ex-football star Tony "aka" Cam has other ideas and is set on buying the building. He plans to turn it into a restaurant now that a career ending injury has sidelined him. The sparks are still there between them. They must work together to find a beneficial solution for both them and the town. Kate Marcin is excellent as the narrator.

An ok book. I was really looking forward to listening to this, but unfortunately I didn't really love any of the characters and I can't quite put my finger on what it was. Really appreciate the chance to listen to it though so thank you.
** I will not be leaving a public review for this book on FB, Amazon or Goodreads as it's under 3 stars and I did not pay for this book**

Hadley Wells is heading home to lick her wounds to Seashell Harbor after her very public split from a movie actor that hits the headlines. In gorgeous Seashell Harbor we meet her grandmother, (owner of Pooch Palace), her parents, her friends and her ex Cam who dumped her by post it note!
These two , who were high school sweet hearts, quickly end up meeting back up and realise they are both interested in the same piece of real estate. Their relationship develops from thereon from dislike to romantic - then steamy!
This is an endearing and heartwarming story - and if you love dogs you are in for a treat as it is full of them - but you will find you will be routing for the main characters all the way through. Thank you to Orange Sky Audio and to Netgalley for my gifted copy and a chance to review this gorgeous audiobook.

Coming Home to Seashell Harbor is a sweet hometown second chance romance. I liked Cam and Hadley and all their family and friends. This was definitely a “get to know everyone” kind of book, which is expected since it’s the first of a series about these friends. The first half of the book was very much like a Hallmark movies. Girl goes back home for a visit, runs in to high school sweetheart, they’re competing for the same building, and then...well you know. However, at around 75% things got pretty steamy and I realized this is an open-door romance. I listened to the audiobook, so that was a bit surprising given how the first part of the book was so sweet and charming. I’m not bothered by open-door, just wasn’t expecting it based on the tone of the story up until then. A big part of the story revolves around rescuing dogs, so if you’re a dog lover, you’ll like this one. This story has puppies, a grandma, a former football player, and two people finding each other again...I mean how sweet can you get.
3.5 stars, rounding up to 4.

A thoroughly engrossing small town romance, complete with fun secondary characters - I especially loved the matchmaking granny! It’s an easy, relaxing listen and the narrator really brings the story to life. The interaction between the two main characters really sparkles with chemistry and the coastal setting makes this a perfect book to enjoy on a warm sunny day.

Cute, easy to listen to book. Sometimes you need a book that is just a nice overall story, and that’s what this was.

Hadley Wells and Tony Cammarerri have both returned home to lick wounds after she her Hollywood career tanks, and after Tony’s football career hits the skids due to an injury. Lovers years before, the two separated on a sour note. Now running a successful restaurant, Tony is eager to rekindle their affair, but he’s going to have to convince Hadley that this time, he’s sincere about a future with her. An enjoyable seaside romance delightfully narrated by Marcin

What goes around comes around and bites you in the heart. Coming Home to Seashell Harbor is a journey of reckoning. A story of forgiveness that speaks to the flaws inside that remind us we are human. Liasson grabs hold of emotions with the glitches in life and exposes the hard road to love. Hadley and Tony come of age with a bit of life wisdom and sprinkling of heartache. Not quite perfect comes pretty close to beautiful.

Pros:
-So I loved the cover and thought it was perfect for the book, It was like a perfect hug.
- The book was really well written and just a fun book

Cons:
- I enjoy these type of books, BUT it's nothing special, these type of books are very common.. Small town girl goes to city.. something happens and they return to the sweet little town.. And if it doesn't have something the shocks me or make me go wow.. I can't recommend this book to my friends!
