I love when I find new authors and their stories full of emotions and suspense, with a great dialogue and characters that you can’t help but keep them close to your heart as you get to know them with each chapter.

There’s a lot to take in here, but the pace is fast and the romance element is so well done that it goes so well with the thrilling moments of suspense and edgy scenes.

A romantic suspense story that many will enjoy as much as I have.

Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy

Despite the somewhat formulaic story, the characters in this book are likable, and easy to root for. (except for Mike and his Soviet pals, of course). Just once, though, I'd like to read a passionate story about an average looking woman who captures the hunk's heart. Fun and easy to read and enjoy.

Zany Greek family dynamic, madcap search for justice: delightful😊

4.5🌟 stars
What a joyful, rollicking adventure! Stella's story starts out with a bang(!😉) and keeps zinging along on a fun, madcap chase with Aussie businessman Sean as her sidekick and number one supporter. This story has it all: romance, some sizzle, sleazy bars, Russian Mafia, a bit of brief violence and alot of brazen bravado and family strife all revolving around Stella's need to prove she's been framed for a dangerous attack on her fickle, profligate fiance.

Author T.J. Beach has a facility for creating memorable characters, a good plot and some great tongue-in-cheek dialogue. It's a captivating adventure with romance an important element to the plot but not dominating the action. Stella is unquenchable, unstoppable, pure energy and drive. She carries the story and charms cops, criminals, reluctant witnesses and more than one smitten Australian along the way. As to her traditional Greek family, she's got her work cut out for her to get them lined up on her side!

This is the second novel in a series, can easily be read as a standalone, but now I will go back and read the first novel to get the full background on Stella and Sean's earlier first meeting and exploits in Australia with their best friends.

Thanks to BooksGoSocial and NetGalley for sharing a complimentary copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

What a cute, unconventional love story! It kept me wondering what will happen next in the story and I just had to read it till the end. The author is new to me and I liked her writing style so much that I will try to read her other books too. This is perfect summer read and I highly recommend it.

I loved the setting of this story, it captured my attention by the New York setting and the Engaging writing style. The story focuses on our main character Stella, who catches her (now ex) fiancé with a waitress at his restaurant - a comedy/mystery follows as Stella is framed for knocking down her ex in her VW beetle. Despite her families desperation for her to forgive her ex, Stella embarks on a mystery solving quest with Aussie Sean. A fun easy beach read.

Congratulations to TJ Beach, a new author for me, this book delivers great humour, romance and mystery! The pace was good, Stella was brilliant with Sean and I wasn’t so impressed by Stella’s family! A fabulous read to keep you on your toes!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

An entertaining romantic comedy mystery. We may begin the tale in London, but then it is off to New York City with Australia making itself know periodically. Fun international feel. A light but intriguing story. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley.

This is the second book in the series with one other scheduled. This is a ‘comic’ romance where the girl is amazing and her amazing Australian friend set out to do a bit of detecting when she is accused of a hit and run attack on her cheating, fiancée.

I have never been so keen to finish a book and not in a nice way. I am old enough to remember black and white films of the 40’s where the girl is a wise-guy, cracking jokes all the time – almost one of the boys – except she is much prettier; and the guy is a hunk who is smitten, oh and clever and rich. Well this is like this. The plot on the detecting side is pretty bad, the love story predictable.

I hope I never have to read another book like this.

I do apologise to the author whole-heartedly but I am sure there will be a wide audience who will appreciate this genre – sadly I am not a fan which is why my rating is so low.

Thank you to the author, publishers and NetGalley for providing an ARC via my Kindle in return for an honest review.

Stella and Sean are pleasurable characters in the beach read. Nothing too heavy, a light book you can read in one sitting, take with you on the go and enjoy with friends.

A funny and sweet book that made me smile. I loved the dialogue and the pace of the story. I liked the main character's strength and drive. The only thing that I didn't like was that the love story took a backseat to the main story. It lacked that balance that is needed in this kind of book. The feelings between the two main characters felt sometimes one-sided. But enjoyed the book and will look for books from this author.

This was a fun read. However, I struggled with parts of it. I loved it, then I didn't, then I did again.

For instance, she catches her fiancee banging another woman. Her "supportive" family tells her it must be a mistake and to forgive him? I know why, but it annoyed the heck out of me - so then I didn't like the family.

Then again I cared enough to not like them, right?

Now that I have written that, I am pretty sure this review was no help. So try it for yourself.

I do want to thank the author, the publisher and #netgalley for the ARC which obviously did not impact my (non)review.
