Thank you to #NetGalley for letting me listen to this audiobook in exchange for my honest review.I have never read or listened To RL Stine books. This was a good book and would be a good pick for it's targeted age group.

This is a great 2nd installment! Love the full cast audio, it makes it so each character is unique and stands out. Hope there's more in the future.

For the second title in this series, I tried it out on audiobook and I liked it even better in that format. The audiobook is full cast, so each character has a different voice. Plus it incorporates sound effects and background music. It is also very well done. I find the GPK books a bit repetitive, but for the age group in which they are written, they should be. The audiobook takes away the tedium of repetitiveness. In this book the kids get a Hippo that escaped from the zoo, enter the best pet contest, and try to go to an amusement park. This book is full of thrills and laughs that young chapter readers are seeking.

I read the first volume in this series, and I was a fan of the GPKs when I was a child. Listening to the second story, was much more enjoyable. The characterizations were wonderfully funny and engaging. A much better journey to Smellville, for sure!

***AUDIO BOOK VERSION***
The Garbage Pail Kids Thrills and chills is the 2nd book in this fun and gross series by the amazing R L Stine.
I loved these as a child and this brought nostalgia back for my childhood. R L Stine was one of my favourite point horror writers and when I saw this book on netgalley I jumped at the chance to listen to it.
The narrators were fabulous and made the book funny and entertaining to listen to!
In this book we meet a cast of characters (all gross!) who are competing against Good Boy the perfect chihuahua of the Perfect Twins.
Give it a listen especially if you want a trip down memory lane or are feeling a little fed up, it's sure to cheer you up!

While I always (usually) enjoy R.L. Stine's Goosebumps and Fear Street books, I didn't connect so readily with the Garbage Pail Kids' story. As their name implies, these kids are incredibly gross! (LOL) It was fun to pick up a book in Stine's newest series to see what he's writing these days.

Thanks to NetGalley for providing me with a free copy in return for an honest opinion.

A huge thanks to Blackstone Publishing for my audiobook arc in exchange for an honest review. I totally loved this audiobook as the narrators were hilariously amazing and kept me laughing. If you are having a bad day grab this audiobook (it's only 3 hours long).

This book is about the Garbage Pail Kids who are desperate to win the Smellville Pet Contest and have to compete against Good Boy, the perfect Chihuahua of the Perfect twins. So we follow this group of friends in their quest to win a free all-day trip to Six Thrills Amusement Par
