One Week to Claim It All is such a great read. I loved Adriana Herrera's Dreamers series, and was very excited to read her newest book. One Week to Claim It All does not disappoint. Great leads, dramatic twists, steamy romance, and a smart fun protagonist who can rescue herself. Esmeralda and Rodrigo are such fun characters, they sucked me into their story. I can't wait to read the rest in the series.

As a longtime fan of Adriana Herrera's work, I was thrilled to see that she'd written a category romance for Harlequin Desire. There's lots to like here -- I loved Esmeralda's and Rodrigo's vision for Sambrano Studios, the awesome cast of family and friends (especially Esme's Mami and tias), and Esmeralda's confidence (and knowledge that she deserves her happily-ever-after in both the romantic and professional realms). The villains were a touch one-dimensional for my taste and things felt rushed in a number of places, but I'm chalking that up to the limitations of the category format (and, perhaps, the fact that I'm used to longer books from Herrera). I will enthusiastically recommend this to patrons and am very much looking forward to the next book in the series!

Many thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin for the opportunity to read and review!

Esmeralda is everything a perfect heroine should be. Strong, yet vulnerable, and just really badass. Rodrigo has some work to do on himself after a lifetime of working toward just one goal, but he’s not going to lose the woman he loves a second time. An awesome book (and I want Perla’s book now)!

The one who got away paired with a slightly suspenseful plot and you have a good anytime read on your hands. There's something about seeing the Harlequin logo that has me one-clicking, ready to indulge in a great romance. And this author definitely brought me that. This was good!

This was the perfect vacation read! There's something decadent about a Desire title, and this one definitely has that with the handsome CEO and the "who will win it all" drama.

I loved that Rodrigo and Esmeralda had a history. They have this past that she can't quite get over and he hasn't fully told her the truth about and this opportunity to take over her father's company provides the perfect chance for them to be in each other's lives again. I loved their chemistry, I loved that he finally learned he doesn't have to carry everything on his shoulders. Rodrigo has put a lot on his shoulders over the years and throughout this book he learns that he has people there that can help him, that want to help him. I love how strong and determined Esmeralda was. It seemed like everything was against her, but she would not give up. I adored that about her!

I only wish this was longer because I just enjoyed it so much!!
