Buzz Books is always a great way to get a sneak peek at upcoming titles! I was especially interested in reading The Spanish Daughter, The Riviera House, Friends Like These, The School for Good Mothers, Out of Love, My Monticello, Dare to Know, The Family, Never Saw Me Coming, Dark Things I Adore, Smile, Reclamation and Vinyl Moon.

This is a invaluable resource for book bloggers and reviewers, setting out upcoming releases with publication dates and organised into helpful categories. Also included for selected books are summaries, excerpts, publicity contact details and links to the book's page on Netgalley for requests.

I'll be keeping an eye out for future additions!

I love these Buzz Books previews. With a fast sampling you can see what you like and what you don't of all the big books coming this fall and winter. I already am excited for the Noah Hawley book based on the sample. This is great.

I look forward to Buzz Books' release with its excerpts from upcoming books, There are favorite authors and new authors that give us a peek inside their newest stories. After reading this book, I always have a list of books to watch for...ranging from my "usual" types of book favorites to something new. By having a chance to read excerpts, it opens up the possibility of discovering a new favorite author....or reading a type of book that maybe wouldn't normally be chosen. Thank you to NetGalley and Publisher's Lunch for the opportunity to read and review this advance reader copy. #NetGalley #BuzzBooks2021

This sampler was an excellent, quick way to identify upcoming titles that fit my tastes. It took less than an hour to peruse the opening chapters and short summary blurb of several dozen upcoming releases and zero in on a couple to request for read/review. It had me checking out new authors and broadening the scope of my reading interests.

I always love these previews for a heads up on new releases. I like getting a little preview of books to help decide whether I might be interested. I appreciate how the titles are broken down by genre. This one edition is just like ones I've seen in the past. They're very useful and well composed.

I love Buzz books overviews of upcoming publications, because they allow me to plan my reading for the next half year.
I have already discovered that 6 of my favourite authors are releasing exciting new books and I have written down 7 more titles to keep an eye out for from authors I didn't previously know. One book I was on the fence about after reading a few NetGalley reviews, but decided to give it a try after reading the extract included in this buzz books edition. As usual, this buzz books edition has been very helpful.
Many thanks to Publishers Lunch and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

These previews always get me so excited for upcoming books. It's especially exciting to see upcoming books from authors you love when you had no idea these books were even coming. There are even a handful of books I've requested to read, or some that I've been able to "read now."

What a fantastic guide of great books! I found so many that are now on my list of must reads. I had not seen one of these buzz books before but I definitely will be looking for it each season! So nice to have so many good reads in one place in a great format that includes what the books are about to see if it interests you. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley!

Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. I enjoyed reading about all of the books being released later this year. This book was very informative about new authors who are releasing their first book along with well known authors and the different genres.

Buzz Feeds combines the information about to be published books - which is not always easy to come by - with excerpts that are long enough to give the potential reader a good sense of what he's getting into. Check out this mind blowing piece published by reviewer Mal Warwick.

"According to the latest Bowker Report (September 7, 2016), more than 700,000 books were self-published in the U.S. in 2015, which is an incredible increase of 375% since 2010. And the number of traditionally published books had climbed to over 300,000 by 2013 according to the latest Bowker figures (August 5, 2014). The net effect is that the number of new books published each year in the U.S. has exploded by more than 600,000 since 2007, to well over 1 million annually. At the same time, more than 13 million previously published books are still available through many sources.

But Steve’s article referred only to books that were recently published and in the English language. Taking another look at the piece, I began to wonder how many books have been published in the whole world, in every language.

Well, Google has an answer to that, of course! As of August 5, 2010, that number stood at 129,864,880. Staggering, isn’t it?

As you’re probably aware, Google Books has been scanning books in enormous numbers for many years now, as have many libraries. Google reported in October 2015 that the total number of titles scanned was over 25 million. The company intends to scan all 130,000,00!

If you’re thinking of writing a book, you might keep these numbers in mind. Getting anybody’s attention with a book these days is a tall order."

I love reading each edition of Buzz Books. I always find many (usually too many!) titles to add to my TBR list, and the samples of upcoming publications definitely whets my appetite to read some of the books that will soon be published. These sneak peeks are great. (In this edition, I especially enjoyed the sneak peeks of The Saints of Swallow Hill, Small Things Like These, and Friends Like These, and each of these book is now on my TBR list.) Buzz Books is simply a fantastic resource for upcoming publications, and I look forward to each season's new edition.
