I really enjoyed reading this book, it was a great mystery novel and I really enjoyed the use of Wyatt Earp. It was a well done story and I had enjoyed the series as a whole.

I am reviewing this book voluntarily. I liked this book, but didn't love it.

Sad to say, it took me twenty days to read this book. I wasn't any busier than usual, but I wasn't reading at every opportunity. I'd forget to take my e-reader with me, or gaze out the window of the bus instead of reading. At home, I've been getting online instead of reading. I guess I didn't care enough about this book to make reading it a priority. I didn't find it compelling enough to finish it quickly.

This book has potential, however, the writing style confused me, it felt like a one-way conversation with someone who is absent/not listening in places. It has some religious context to it about a religion I know very little about (but obviously that is my fault and nothing to do with the book!) and I think that further added to the confusion of the book. This book could be a hit with people who have more background knowledge around the religion and have read the previous 5 books in the series, but for me, I would have struggled to get through the whole book.
