Firstly a huge thanks to Kensington Publishers for my e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is my first book by Mary Marks and now I want to go read all the books in the series. Knot ready for murder is not your typical wedding book because it's a mystery and I am here for it .Before quilter Martha Rose can tie the knot to Crusher, she has to track down his missing first wife (and this is after discovering Crusher is married *sad face emoji*). The protagonist Martha Rose, is a strong, lovable woman, and the side characters are realistic and just as delightful.I found myself engrossed in the story and enjoying it so much.

I look forward to reading the next installment in this series.

I enjoy every visit I have with Martha and her friends. This book starts off at the very end of the last one so no time has passed. I loved the glimpse into Yossi's life before he met Martha and his sister, Fanya, is such a wonderful character. The mystery kept me guessing and the ending was not at all what I was expecting. Can't wait for the next one!

“Knot Ready for Murder” the 9th instalment in the Quilting Mystery series by Mary Marks. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with Martha and her Tuesday quilting bee again. Before quilter Martha Rose can tie the knot to Crusher, she has to track down his missing first wife...

Have I said how much I love this series and Martha Rose! Crushers “wife” Hadas and his sister Fanya show up from New York and chaos ensues but Martha Rose is determined to get to the bottom of it and divorce papers signed.

Protagonist Martha Rose, is a strong, educated woman, and the side characters are realistic, slightly quirky too like her friend Birdie and Jazz. The story mostly focused on Martha Rose and the guests from New York but her friends were there when it counted. I think Fanya will be a good addition to the Tuesday Quilting Bee family.

I found myself engrossed in the story and reading it in one day. It was entertaining, full of twists and turns as well as a few surprises. I even learnt about Jewish customs and quilting tips which is always a bonus.

I look forward to reading the next installment in this series.

I requested and received an Advance Reader Copy of this book from Kensington Books and NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my OWN.

Knot Ready for Murder revolves around Crusher's wife from 30 years ago. He married her as a teen, to save her family from shame. She was pregnant with another man's baby. Now Martha and Crusher are trying to find her to get the annulment that never went through 30 years ago. It's another interesting and fun story in the series. I love reading about the Jewish religion (I'm not familiar with it). Martha is a wonderful main character, and her sister G is outrageously fabulous. I enjoyed the banter between Martha and Arlo. The author brings all the characters to life. I wasn't quite falling for the uncle and caretaker side story - seemed ridiculous. And the very end, with Martha getting 'tipsy' ruined the ending for me. Otherwise another great book in the series. Looking forward to the next.

I received this book for free from netgalley for an honest review #netgalley

As a Quilter this was so interesting. I love when I am familiar with the occupation of the main character. Top shelf worthy.

Love this series! Martha Rose and Crusher getting married? But wait! His WIFE comes to town! A fun humorous addition to a really enjoyable series. Love the characters. Thanks #netgalley and #Keningston for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This series of quilt mysteries has managed to stay fresh and engaging. Mark's amateur detective, Martha Rose is a natural sleuth. Her attention to detail serves her well both as a quilter and in her crime solving ventures. In this book, she finally decided to commit to Yossi and set a wedding date, but of course complications ensue, and Martha learns Yossi is already married. (What?) Martha and Yossi's sister team up to untangle the decades old inconvenience. Marks's ending was a bit disappointing, Martha deserved better. #NetGalley

This is one of my favorite series for two reasons. I love all the quilting and fabric descriptions and I have a huge crush on Crusher. He is not in the book enough in my opinion. Martha is ready to marry him, except for one small detail, who arrives from NYC and leads Martha on a merry chase. I didn’t like Hadas at all. I kept waiting for someone to give her the what for she deserved and it happened. The person speak so bluntly is fast becoming my favorite character. I did think the plot dragged on a bit too long. The scene at the end is hilarious and completely in character with Martha. I adore the cover.

Another unbelievable fun book from Mary Marks in this interesting and entertaining book series. I always love to see the mischief and shenanigans that Martha Rose and her friends get themselves into, and this book did not disappoint. There were a new set of characters introduced while Martha's usual friends stayed more in the background and out of trouble this time around, but they were there for the important things as always. We got to spend time with and learn more about some of the newer character in the series which made it very fun and refreshing. I thoroughly enjoyed this and look forward to whatever lies ahead in this series.

This was a great mystery about the price one pays for lies. The culprit was diabolically written and I was totally surprised at the end. I loved how nice Martha was with everything that happened, until she was fed up with everything. Then, she was honest, and the payback made the book. I would describe it more but everyone who loves cozies needs to read this one. I can't wait for the next book.

Martha Rose finally agrees to marry Yossi Levy aka Crushed but learns he's been married for the last 30 yrs!! That was a big surprise but even more surprising is when his wife Hadas and his sister Fanya show up. Hadas is certain she'll reclaim Yossi. However Hadas disappears while the others are out and it appears she's been kidnapped. Later the victim calls Martha begging for help . Seems she staged the kidnapping because she is being stalked by a crazy lover. But is she?? Something in her story just doesn't add up and when she disappears again Martha knows something is up.. Can Martha safely stick her nose into things without becoming a victim herself? And what about Hadas ? Is she in danger or is she lying? Great action in this.

I liked this book. I thought it was slow in spots but otherwise thought it was even paced. I enjoyed the characters and was glad when the murderer was discovered. #KnotReadyforMurder #NetGalley

Martha Rose is finally ready to marry Crusher! But will she get to, considering his wife is in town?? Another wonderful cozy from Mary Marks. I always enjoy spending time with Martha and her quilty friends. I love Uncle Isaac and am fascinated by the Shabbat dinners. I want to attend one!

This one wasn't as cosy as the others in the series. There was lots of action and mystery but not as much "sitting around quilting" with her gang. There's something about these books I just love. I read them super fast and then retire to my quilting room, ready to tackle my mountain of unfinished projects. The Quilting Mystery series is one of the best out there. Definitely pick up the first one and enjoy getting caught up!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book.

Knot Ready for Murder by Mary Marks was a wonderful story from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Martha Rose finally decides to say "yes" to marrying Yossi Levy aka Crusher. She has a houseful of family gathered around the table for the Sabbath dinner. After everyone leaves, Martha Rose finds out that Crusher is still married. It was supposed to be annulled years ago, but never was. Mary Marks combines quilting with mystery. She is a great writer with wonderful story lines.

Martha Rose finally decides it is time to set a date with Yoshi. What she didn’t know is that her fiancé is still married to his first wife and was never annulled as they had agreed to. When Yoshi’s sister comes to town, his ex-wife joins her on the trip. How is Martha supposed to deal with her husband’s wife staying at her home, even if it was a sham all those years ago?

The day after the women arrive from New York, Martha and Yoshi plan a picnic at the beach, but Hadas, the ex-wife, decides to stay back as she has a headache. When the group returns home, they find Hadas missing and a note from her kidnapper. Martha will move Heaven and Earth to find Hadas and get the divorce Yoshi needs to marry her. But will Martha be marrying a divorced man or a widower? Only time will tell.

I absolutely love this series! The Yiddish phrases, the love of chocolate, the quilting and most of all Martha’s Snarkasm. It feels like I have found my tribe every time I read an entry int his series. LOVE. IT!

Meeting up with Martha Rose and her Tuesday Quilting Club is guaranteed to bring a warm fuzzy feeling along with a cozy mystery.

This time it is Martha and Yossi (aka Crusher) that set off the plot full of twists and humor along with murder when Martha decides she is going to marry Yossi. We meet Yossi's sister Fanya and a secret from his past.

I love learning Jewish traditions and customs. In this novel we get new information about gems stones from Fanya.

Helpful hints for hand quilting finish this book.

I received a free, advance copy of this book and this is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Secrets unravel as a wedding is to be take place but first the groom must find his first wife as their wedding has not be annulled after decades. It is not an easy task for the bride to handle before the wedding as the wife and groom’s sister arrives but soon disappears from their hotel room leaving behind chloroform soaked rags.

The quilting group will have to find out of the groom still has a wife or is it a widow. A charming read with unexpected turns.
