I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

3.5 STARS
It’s been 5 years since I read CROSS THE STARS.
And that could be the main “issue” I had with this second and last book.

I was really happy to get back to Ella and Rajaa, but after so many years between both books, I sort of built very high expectations, and I felt like some aspects were rushed in this book, some other felt forced and some moments were just…. I don’t know how to explain it without giving too much away…. Let’s just say I got really frustrated/pissed with some “feelings” the main characters felt, or some situations seemed too easy at some point or too forced in other moments.
I also had huge issues with the way some topics were handled.
But all in all, I loved Ella and Raj too much not to enjoy some really emotional and poetic moments.
I just had to high expectation, nourished during too many years… And the [too long] wait may have ruined a little the whole experience.
But still, I recommend the Duet, because their love story is really beautiful and worth reading..

A wonderful conclusion! Torn apart by chaos, Ella and Raj go through hell and back. Steal the Moon will make you cry, then turn around and warm your heart.

I absolutely loved this book. Steal the moon had some action as well as Raj and Ella’s love story which I’m sad to see end. I liked the fact that it takes place in the Middle East which I’m really not familiar with but I felt like I was there. There was definitely a Romeo and Juliette feel to this book.

This follow up book to Crossing the Stars is a fast paced finish to the Crossing Stars Duet. I really enjoyed Raj and Ella's forbidden romance in the first book of this duet and I'm happy to not have had to wait too long to read the conclusion to their story. This book was action packed and kept me on the end of my seat while reading. This was a "read in one sitting" kind of book and I don't regret one bit of it.

*Thank you to NetGalley, Venessa Kimball and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review*

Steal The Moon is the second book in a duet. They released Cross The Stars in January.

Ella is the middle child of three girls and daughter of a US senator. She wants her own path in life, away from Law and politics. Prince Rajaa, youngest son of the King of Jordan, has been attending Georgetown and will return home to Jordan for the summer. Rajaa also has no desire to follow the path to be a King.

Steal The Moon starts off where Cross The Stars ended. There has just been an explosion of the center Ella is working at, teaching young children the English language. It turns out to be a suicide bomb, and the center is destroyed. The Prince has thrown himself on top of Ella, saving his true love from certain death. Unfortunately, he is taken by Isis. Ella wakes up to find she is in the Royal Palace, as is her Father, wanting to take her home as soon as possible. She refuses to leave until they find Raj safe.

This book is all about the action. It is fast-paced and easy to read. It is less about the relationship between Raj and Ella and more about the dramatic search and rescue for the prince, and its consequences. As the reader, we learn about Jordan, different religious sects and what ISIS really is. The politics and descriptions of different places in the middle fascinated me. Raj and Ella spend almost no time together in this book, so I would not categorize this as a romance, but an action packed thriller. This is not a bad thing. However, the first book is more romance with how Ella and Raj met and fell in love. While I loved this book, I was expecting more of the main two characters together.

Highly recommend this series!! It is SO good, and Venessa Kimball is clearly gifted with words.
