Minda' validates my experiences in the workplace and gives us tools to help us heal from them, hence ,becoming Right Within.
Therapy and healing, talking about our experiences helps us ,and hopefully will help companies to heal and improve, as well.

A difficult topic but one that is unfortunately needed and this book was excellent. This book was actually recommended to me by a co-worker who also received an ARC and we are trying to get it added to the book club at work so that more people get to experience it. Being a white passing BIPOC comes with it's own set of trauma but reading this and knowing that there are other people reading it somehow makes me feel less alone in what is experienced in the workplace and gives me hope that we can move forward together to a better understanding of each other and what we go through. Despite seeming to be targeted at women of color I think it is something that everyone could and should read.

I would easily recommend this book, especially to anyone who has worked in a corporate environment. Minda Harts challenges the reader to face the racial disparities that they have encountered with actionable steps to deal with the scars that are left behind. Using her own personal experiences, she also highlights the importance of knowing when it is time to move from fighting to leaving toxic environments to protect your peace and well being.

Right Within is a book on healing for every woman of color out there hurting from the injustice or being told to be quiet for fear of being called "angry black woman" with stories, resources and tools. You can start the healing process and become lighter to stand up for yourself and others around you.

From the powerhouse author of  The Memo, the essential self-help book for women of color to heal—and thrive—in the workplace

This is such a fantastic book, I adore Minda Harts and how she writes about people of colour's experiences in the workplace. I really feel like I grew from my reading of her work. I think the best thing that could ever happen would be to give The Memo and this book as a starter pack to all young women of colour as they enter the working world.

Thank you NETGALLEY for this review copy. It's brilliant. This should be given to as many people as possible.
