I forgot to leave a review for this, but I really enjoyed it! It's been out for ages, so I won't say much more than I need to for my star rating. <3

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me a free advanced copy of this book to read and review.

This was a cute book, but I found it to be a just okay. I thought the characters could be a little more developed and it dragged in the middle. The audio version was done okay as well. The narrator was a bit annoying. That being said, I am planning on reading the second book in the series.

Thank you Netgalley for the advanced copy.

This was such a great book with a sizzling romance, an abundance of magic, and a fun plot. Definitely worth reading.

What a fun and cute book! Vivienne lives in the town of Graves Glen. After a summer fling with the dreamy Rhys Penhallow sours, Vivienne inadvertently curses her town. Rhys returns years later, and chaos ensues as Vivi's curse takes hold. Vivienne and Rhys have to work together to reverse the curse and save the town, right before Halloween.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick read, but it felt like a nice warm fall drink. I loved the setting of Graves Glen, and I'd love to see future books set there!

What a fun and magical read! I am loving the witchy-romance trend this fall! I'm always a fan of second chance romance, and this one had lots of fun tension. Erin Sterling really brought this town to life and brought me in as a reader new to witches and magic. I loved the romance, tension, and bit of intrigue in the Ex Hex!

Nine years ago, Vivienne Jones nursed her broken heart like any young witch would: vodka, weepy music, bubble baths…and a curse on the horrible boyfriend. Sure, Vivi knows she shouldn’t use her magic this way, but with only an “orchard hayride” scented candle on hand, she isn’t worried it will cause him anything more than a bad hair day or two.

That is until Rhys Penhallow, descendent of the town’s ancestors, breaker of hearts, and annoyingly just as gorgeous as he always was, returns to Graves Glen, Georgia. What should be a quick trip to recharge the town’s ley lines and make an appearance at the annual fall festival turns disastrously wrong. With one calamity after another striking Rhys, Vivi realizes her silly little Ex Hex may not have been so harmless after all.

Suddenly, Graves Glen is under attack from murderous wind-up toys, a pissed off ghost, and a talking cat with some interesting things to say. Vivi and Rhys have to ignore their off the charts chemistry to work together to save the town and find a way to break the break-up curse before it’s too late.

I absolutely LOVED this book!! Vivi had a terrible break up 9 years ago. She got over with a little vodka and a lot of magic. When her ex comes back in town chaos and curses ensue. This is the perfect Halloween romance. It strikes the perfect balance of witchcraft, witty banter, and sexy times.
I cant wait to read what Rachel Hawkins aka Erin Sterling comes out with next!

This was a fluffy and satisfying escape that I read in a single sitting. Recommended for fans of urban fantasy romance.

This is a sexy, witchy delight that begs to be read over and over again come Halloween. Talking cats, Dracula bedrooms, and dark academia round out a story about a woman reclaiming her past and future after she accidentally curses her ex in a drunken haze. Searingly funny and genuinely delightful.

Thanks to William Morrow and NetGalley for this eARC. I have been hotly anticipating this one!

Rachel Hawkins/Erin Sterling is one of my favorite Twitter personalities and this witchy small town romance with a Welsh hero is TRULY her niche. This was incredibly cute and fun! Vivi and Rhys were in love manyyyyy years ago and when they broke up, Vivi maybe cursed him (in her defense, she didn't think it would work with a candle from Bath and Body Works AND she'd had a little vodka). 10 years later, Rhys returns to Georgia for witch reasons, and the curse causes shenanigans. Vivi and Rhys have great chemistry, the cozy north Georgia
college town is adorable, and the supporting cast, especially Vivi's cousin, is great.

Look I say this so often, but truly this movie writes itself, and everything is filmed in Georgia these days! Come on Netflix!

Can't wait for the next Erin Sterling!
