I wanted to like this book because the blurb makes it sound interesting however I just had a hard time following who’s who. There are so many characters being introduced and then add in nicknames and more characters or duplicity of characters with another name, I was just a confused reader. I finished this book but was lost most of the time while reading it. I think I figured out who everyone was by the end but wow that took a long time.

Sorry to say, I was bored with Transition of Power. It did not feel real to me. The characters were not appealing. Ultimately I was unable to finish as I would pick it up and then shortly thereafter put it down.
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC.

Transition of power was a suspenseful, exciting read that I didn't want to end . I especially loved the strength of Cameron, the female lead, and feel there should be more books that feature such a powerful woman like her. I also loved how Cameron did not let her past define nor stall her. I felt some kind of way about a certain character, and my suspicion was confirmed as I got closer to the end of the story. Although I'm a diehard romance fan, I truly enjoyed this story

This is the second book that I’ve read by Karen and just like the 2nd book this one is filled mystery, drama, suspense and romance. The characters are awesome, great word building, easy read, fast paced, secrets, page turner and all in all a fantastic read.

While growing up Cameron is into a lot things that do not sit well with her father. Cameron is an alpha female who women would love for her to be their friend. Cameron kicks butts and no one messes with her. Cameron’s boss who is not on the good side of the life has trained her very well. Her boss is now dead and he left behind his millions and a file on Cameron that must stay hidden and Cameron is on the trail to find the file before it gets into the wrong hands.

We get the backdrop on how Cameron and Daron “aka the warden” from another series “The Kings Of Castle” came about.

Cameron out to rescue her cousin from the clutches of the warden; even the warden does a lot of illegal and bad things he does them for the good. He is very inventive and helpful.

This book is good that I recommend it along with reading “The Kings Of The Castle” and “The Knights Of The Castle”. If you’re into action, drama, mystery, suspenseful reader then you will most definitely enjoy this book.

I received an ARC via the author plus I purchased the paper back, and I’m voluntarily leaving my review.

Transition of Power by Karen D. Bradley is a thrilling tale featuring a kick butt female lead. Cameron is smart, talented and determined to protect her brainiac cousin. This is a tale filled with twists and turns all intersecting at Cameron and informing her decisions. I enjoyed this. This is the first I’ve read by this author and think there are some situations in this story that occurred in another book but it doesn’t effect this story negatively.
