Wow hot! I love this series in Cold River, Colorado and the previous series too. I love all the Kittredge men, that rugged, strong cowboy that doesn't want to give in to their soft side and fall for a woman. In this one Jensen gets involved with the high school librarian who is trying to help the kids in her summer school class. You would not believe what this leads to! Due to events in his teen years, Jensen doesn't do relationships, but Harriet just might make him change his mind. Definitely recommend not only this book, but the entire series! I can't wait to see what happens to Zack in book 3!

All Night Long with a Cowboy is a fantastic read. I love how different Harriet is from Jenson. This is one of those opposite attract reads that will suck you right in. The brain and the brawns that is what you get when it comes to Harriet and Jenson. Harriet is just wonderful. Her whit will keep you on your toes. She is a generous soul who wants to help and make changes in someone's life. She may be that crazy cat lady Librarian but she will put a smile on your face every step of the way with her stubborn yet some what bossy self. Jenson really grows on you as the story goes on. He is a little full of himself and a huge ladies man. You get all these bits and pieces of the man he can be when Harriet starts asserting herself more in his life. You just feel this mask around Jenson most of the time but once it starts to slip you see a totally different side. I love the banter between Jenson and Harriet. There are so many wonderful moments that will put a smile on your face. There is something about Harriet and Jenson that you cannot help but to fall for. I loved this one and I cannot wait for more to come from Kittredge Ranch.

So I am not gonna be with the majority here, I found the book to be extremely slow and long winded and just hard to finish, now I did finish it. I liked Aiden and I think he is the reason why I did finish, he is the reason why I felt that it deserved my attention, I couldn't care less for Jenson or for the for Harriot, or for anyone else in the town or the the family or the story or the situation. Jenson was a manho, and everyone else was judmental and Harriot simply fell into his arms pretty fast even though she claimed she was not. again thank for Aiden.

I enjoy a good romance. It this virginal librarian and cute cowboy troupe was a bit much for me. I wanted to care if they hooked up but all I could do was resist the urge to slap them both.

I liked that the unconventional heroine and the opposites attract plot between Harriet and Jensen. They are such extreme opposites their relationship borders on the unbelievable. This perception could be because something is lacking in their chemistry. It is more implied than detailed (too much telling and no showing) and I find it hard to see these two together. However, their deeply introspective POVs, though long-winded are compelling. The ending is a bit hokey lending to the overall mawkishness of the book.

This was such a fun read! Talk about opposites attract! I really enjoyed the beginning of this book. I could just picture prim and proper school librarian Harriett Burnett walking up to super sexy "one-night-stand" Jensen Kittridge in the Coyote. That sure got my attention and I loved every minute of the story thereafter.

A renegade rake. A starchy, persistent spitfire. They shouldn't mesh, but like moths to flame, they can't stay away from each other. I loved how forthright and intense Harriet is. I'm,irked how Jensen reacted to her intensity. I also loved how she laid the lothario flat, although it took almost the entire book. The heat between the two smokes the Rocky Mountains. Saddle up and read this one.

Jensen Kitteridge has a reputation as a player as well a man with a ready joke and a big laugh. He is a love’em and leave’em kind of guy who is hiding a secret heartbreak. After a youthful decision turned deadly, Jensen has lived his life with a secret guilt that never shows on his face nor does he let anyone get really close, even his family. He is a big, handsome, and strong cowboy working the family horse ranch who has been a favorite son of small-town Cold River, Colorado since his youth. When the high school librarian, Harriett Barnett, shows up at Jensen’s favorite seedy bar to call in a favor he had never heard off, Jensen does not know what to think.

Harriett Barnett is doing her best imitation of a frump in dowdy clothing, glasses sliding down her nose, and taking a dim of view of the sticky, smelly bar she tracks down Jensen in to make him fulfill a pledge. It does not matter Jensen had no idea what she is talking about, Harriett is determined to make him help her with some at-risk students in a summer program. Harriett is the total opposite from any of Jensen’s usual feminine company whom he spends time with for only one thing.

After convincing the reluctant Jensen to help out with her students, Harriet finds that she is not quite so immune to his rugged charms. Harriet is such an introvert as well as the quintessential cat lady that it takes her some time to adjust to Jensen’s living out loud lifestyle; however, she sees beyond his facade to the man he really is despite Jensen’s fierce determination to live a penitent and hollow life.

Harriett has little use for friends or social activities believing herself to be too odd to get along with people other than what her job dictates. Jensen can’t help but be attracted to this quirky, intelligent woman who make him feel things he has long denied himself. Harriet realizes what she has been missing out on life by living her dreams in books rather than real life. This opposite attracts story is quite entertaining as Harriett and Jensen try to understand each other’s world view both realizing they have missed an essential component of a life well lived. This story is the second in the Kitteridge ranch series but can be read as a standalone.

This is a cute romance about a cowboy and a librarian. I love the flow and style of this romance. It is perfect for a quiet night of reading and wine.

Oh, my, laughed, cried, and kept reading
Just what the doctor order.. yes, I started this one day… and finished it the next… I just couldn't put it down. That has not happened in recent history for me.
This is a light fun contemporary romance with a bit of spice but not graphic nor over-done. Jensen, and does he have a story, encounters Harriett, a gal like no other, then add in Aiden, the teen with issues. Yup, we all have our stories and these 3 are no exception.

All Night Long With A Cowboy (Sounds naughty, doesn't it?) is a phenomenal contemporary romance with a western tilt by Caitlin Crews. Ms. Crews has produced a well-written book that will suck you in and leave you with a grin on your face. Jensen works as a smokejumper during fire season and the rest of the time on the family ranch. Harriet is the school librarian and a bit of an oddity. Jensen and Harriet's story is packed with drama, humor and sizzle. I enjoyed reading All Night Long With A Cowboy and look forward to reading more from Caitlin Crews soon. This book is book 2 of the Kittredge Ranch Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Cowboy Bodice Ripper. This is one of those slow burn (ish) cowboy romances where you've got the busty-and-beautiful-but-no-one-knows-it-because-she-hides-it-all-the-time librarian meeting up with the playboy-that-can't-escape-his-dark-past cowboy. The slow burn and banter through the front half of the book is great, helped along via a subplot involving a troubled teenager. And then you get to the (nearly requisite in the genre) sex around the 2/3 mark where suddenly both of our leads are very well endowed for their genders. Sure, why not. A bit typical, and a bit of a letdown because of it, but eh, when being typical in one particular area is the worst you can say of a book... it really isn't a bad book. Fans of the genre will like it, those that aren't fans of the genre won't have any real reason to come to the genre via this particular book. For the clean/ sweet crowd, well, I already told you it has a sex scene, and there's references to several others, both "onscreen" and off. Solid tale mostly solidly told, and it does in fact work as an entry point into the series despite being Book 2. Very much recommended.

Opposites definitely attract in All Night Long With a Cowboy by Caitlin Crews. The “spinster” cat lady librarian, Harriet confronts the town’s playboy, Jenson in a disreputable bar and sparks fly. Although, they are not the sparks you would expect.

Harriet is a strong, confident female character with the attitude of take me as I am. She whole heartedly accepts her oddness cardigan and all.

Jenson is the typical playboy until you realize he is hiding behind this frivolous facade. Finding the “real” Jenson was part of the fun in reading this story.

All Night Long with a Cowboy by Caitlin Crews is the newest addition to the Kitteridge Ranch series of novels and a unique entry it is. Jensen, the bad boy cowboy, who carries more baggage than an airliner meets a shy, retiring librarian who dresses in frumpy clothing, wears glasses and is the cliched librarian trope come to life. But Harriet is no cliche...she is at home with her oddness and embraces, right down to her cats and her solitude, which she greatly enjoys. But when she finds herself at odds with Jensen over a young man who she feels needs a role model, he sees the spark in her that no one else does and she becomes the target of his admiration...and his lust.

Harriet returns his feelings, so this becomes the typical librarian/hot guy who transforms her trope with some fun elements added in, such as the aforementioned baggage he's buried under and the parameters she places on herself. When they finally let go, it's not just sparks but fireworks! A fun read for the summer, not much substance, but enjoyable.

Harriet Barnett is the new librarian in town; she's only been there three years. Harriet considers herself odd since she doesn't enjoy or even understand so many things that others her age do. She prefers solitude and reading and research. She's perfectly content being known as the local cat lady.

Jensen Kittredge is a local who has a reputation as the town playboy even though he's hiding his facility with numbers and business and he is hiding guilt at the death of one of his high school best friends. He is also a fire jumper which has made him something of a local hero. He's quick with a joke or a laugh and is a bigger than life presence.

The two characters don't sound like they would have much in common. But Harriet needs Jensen to come and be a role model for some students she's working with during summer school. She confronts him in the more disreputable of the local bars and convinces him to come speak to her students.

This starts a romance that changes both of their lives in very positive ways.

I liked both main characters. I could understand Harriet's desires to march to the beat of her own drummer. Jensen was a great hero, too, once he finally managed to get over the guilt that had been guiding his choices since high school.

Fans of Western romances who like quirky characters will enjoy this story.

Harriet Barnett is a High School Librarian. Harriet loves her cats, all five of them. She dresses in her "older" lady style and is more of an introvert. But she's happy with who she is and her life. During summer she has a program to help students that are struggling with their academics and life issues. But one of her students somewhat mocks the inspirational speakers she has come in as they don't and wouldn't inspire like say Jensen Kittredge would.

And so Harriet's quest to get Jensen, the town's flirt/playboy to come and give a speech during her summer program begins. First meeting for the two is when Harriet's shows up at the town bar as he's surrounded by some of his lady friends and asks to speak to him. Very fun scene I have to say. And so the story progresses. Harriet convincing Jensen to help her students, him trying to brush her off. His family not believing he's capable or able to do something like that and him rising to to the challenge. The two are intrigued by each other and a friendship develops, with underlining tension of sexual awareness. Harriet knows there is so much more to Jensen than he portrays to the town and Jensen she's the beauty that Harriet seems indifferent to. The two begin to explore their relationship and take it to the next level. Until they reach their HEA.

I like both characters but felt Jensen had much more depth and character growth than Harriet. I liked Harriet but felt like something was missing with her overall growth. Also the relationship at times seemed forced to me, by the writer, as though the emotion wasn't really there for either but going through the motions. I love Caitlin Crew/Megan Crane as an author. Her books are auto bye for me. But this one just didn't hit it out of the ballpark for me, it could have just been me and my mind frame at the time of reading.

Harriet is the new town librarian. She needs a favor from Jensen the town playboy. Jensen has problems that he tries to hide deep inside. Harriet doesn’t seem to fit in anywhere. They are total opposites that end up helping each other and falling in love. Wonderful heart felt story with so much emotion. Truly loved this.

A Fabulous Opposites Attract Story.
Ladies man and town clown Jensen Kitteridge couldn’t be more different from the prim forthright high school librarian but for some reason he finds himself beguiled by her and agreeing to do things, such as giving a talk to high school delinquents, that he wouldn’t normally dream of. For her he is breaking all his own rules - can he figure out why? Loved it, Harriet was so amusing at times. Highly recommended.

My Thoughts - Story

When I saw Ms. Crews' name, I remembered reading her Cold River Ranch series and how I fell in love with her rendition of a manly cowboy!

This story of Jensen and Harriett had me cracking up in the first scene at the bar. These two couldn't be any more incompatible and it just added to the mystery of Jensen. In my opinion though...that rough, tough cowboy from the beginning did a complete turn around though when it came to helping Harriett. Who knew a gentleman was hiding under all that gruff exterior?

I love me a book about opposites attracting and how much better than opposite can Jensen, a player, and Harriett, a bookish virgin, get?
