All Night Long with a Cowboy by Caitlin Crews was an a satisfying read, with some cute characters and a decent plot. Will continue looking at this authors work in the future.

I love a romantic story with a very smart person in it. Harriet is just that but not the throw it in your face kind. Jensen is also but hides it. I enjoyed reading, All Night Long With a Cowboy, very much.

All Night Long With A Cowboy, yes please! This book was in Caitlin Crews usual fabulous style while being a book that, for me, stood out. Having met this author a few years ago and getting a very brief glimpse into her writing process it makes me appreciate even more just how darn good she is. Here's to scorching romance against gorgeous settings. Bring on the cowboys, I'm ready for the next book!

Character development is top notch here even though it's a cliché combination of uptight spinster and wild rogue. Librarian Harriett is a very mature, sensible woman who only wants Jensen's help with a problem student. Although she finds him very attractive. Jensen is still carrying around guilt from a tragedy that happened years ago and is not ready to let it go, no matter how much little frumpy Harriett intrigue's him.

I enjoyed this book immensely. I felt like I could step right into the town of Cold River and be one of the natives instantly. This is a town where everyone knows your name and all of your business. like it or not. Harriett had lived in the town for 3 years and was still not a part of the town. Not until she took up with Jensen and had everyone talking.
Well written and definitely a fun read. This is only one of a few books I have red in this genre and I must say it is certainly my favorite.

All Night Long with a Cowboy follows the story of Harriett and Jensen. Harriett is your stereotypical schoolmarm librarian. The complete and total opposite of Jensen. Jensen is the kind of guy that should send Harriett running for the hills. He is a notorious playboy, who could have any woman at the drop of a hat. These two shouldn’t even be on each other’s radars. But, fate has other plans. When a troubled student challenges Harriett, she has no choice but to try and reach them and bring in the one person she thinks can help. But, when it comes to Jensen, he is a lot more than what Harriett bargained for…

I thought this book was an ok read. I could tell right away that Harriett was going to have her hands full with a guy like Jensen. These two couldn’t be more opposite if they tried but somehow found themselves drawn to one another. I do think their story had a bit of a slow start, but I was intrigued enough to see where their story would go.

The road to happily ever after for Harriett and Jensen wasn’t without some bumps along the way. Both of them had pasts that they felt defined them and needed to overcome the hurdles of their past. There was definitely more to these characters than meets the eye and I enjoyed getting to know the two of them.

The main characters in this book are Jensen and Harriet. They are the opposite of each other. Harriet works in the school library she enlist Jensen to help her with a trouble teenager. Together they help the student to work out his problems and Harriet and Jensen fall in love.

I'm a lover of tropes and this opposites attract between a small town librarian unapologetic about her oddness and the cowboy notorious town's flirt definitely hit all the right spots!
The A+ banter and slowburn between Harriett and Jensen made of this book a real page turner. Playful and hot lovemaking between a virgin heroine that isn't just a clueless spinster—not afraid of getting after what she needs—and the infamous playboy sealed the deal for me. How refreshing!
What's even more refreshing was Harriett's own agency, her determination to stay true to herself and reach for things she wanted made her so endearing to me. I LOVED her.
I certainely very much enjoyed witnessing Jensen—tortured hero hiding behind the town's playboy facade—being brought to his senses by the seemingly innocuous town librarian and loved him for seeing and loving Harriett for who she is.
Bonus points for the very sweet and fulfilling epilogue. Highly recommend!

This is an opposites attract book.
Harriet is the stereotypical school librarian who needs help with one of her summer school students. Jensen is a cowboy, but doesn't believe he deserves happiness, so he spends time in dive bars with anonymous woman, no connections. The pair influence each others lives in ways they never expected.
I enjoyed this book, but it did take a while to get into it. It started very slow for me. But, I was glad I kept reading. Sweet ending.

I’m coming to really love Caitlin Crews’ books! Jensen and Harriet were a severely unlikely pair. Jensen was the consummate bachelor, for reasons that happened when he was practically a kid. Harriet was the stereotypical librarian, and liked it that way. Their story was gripping in that I couldn’t put it down. I wasn’t sure how this would all play out, but the conclusion really had me in the gut.

 This is Harriett Barnett (new school librarian) and Jensen Kittredge's ( the most notorious cowboy in Cold River story.  He has guilt from his past and she knows she is a little odd and likes it).  She needs his help with one of her summer school students and that is when the fun starts.  There is guilt, angst, laughter, tears, self discovery and lots of steam getting us to a very HEA.

I really enjoyed the interactions between Harriet and Jensen. The dialogues are very entertaining. I wondered at some point if Harriet had Asperger, but not according to the definition of the syndrome. As we discover during a visit to her parents, she just has a strong personality and she does not adhere to social norms..
Jensen is very sure of himself. Because of a past event, he does not share much with others. But Harriet sees him as he really is and not his façade.

Includes some funny moments, some graver, Harriet’s discovery of her sexuality and many other things.

Another great one from Caitlin Crews. Looking forward to Zack’s story.

The easy going ladies man meets the offbeat librarian who makes him question what he wants out of life. Not an unusual story line but one that can be a lot of fun. Although I have high expectations when it comes to Caitlin Crews this book never really took off for me, Harriet and Jensen are very much characters in a book. They never felt like more than the trope they represent even as they are supposed to be growing and changing. I did really enjoy the story line about Aiden, the teen who looks to the protagonists for help with his home life. I would have loved more about him and his situation. The last chapter was adorably sweet and left me with warm fuzzy feelings which makes this a successful read in and of itself.

I loved this addition to the Kittredge Ranch Series. Since this series connects to the author's previous Cold River Ranch series via the Colorado setting and some crossover characters, I will go as far to say that after one of my all-time favorites, A True Cowboy Christmas (Cold River Ranch book 1,) this is a very close second.

A somewhat rigid and proper school librarian matches wits with the charming, easygoing cowboy. I loved that this wasn't a Cinderella-type romance where Harriet got a makeover that magically changed her appearance before Jensen noticed her as attractive or as a romantic possibility. She was a great heroine who was pragmatic and had sound reasons for how she presented herself. Jensen was intrigued and then genuinely attracted to her because of her indifference to clothing, hairstyle, and some other eccentricities. Their romance was sweet and refreshing, as well as surprisingly sexy. There was also a mentor/student story line that was the catalyst for Jensen and Harriet's relationship. That plot line, along with some heartbreaking events from Jensen's past, interwove themselves beautifully throughout the story, lending evocative moments to Harriet and Jensen's romance.

Overall, this is one of the best in the two connected series' with lovely characterizations, romance, and poignancy. Also, a quick note about the ending. I loved the way the author executed the epilogue. It laid out Jensen and Harriet's future in a satisfying and truly heartwarming way. I even cried a little.

Okay. When Harriett Barnett starts talking about a bar as a ‘den of inequity’, I just about lost it. Her intentions are pure – she wants to help a student who has lost his way and had much taken away from him – and she tries to enlist a playboy cowboy, Jenson Kittredge. In the den of inequity.

Of course, these two hit it off, much to the chagrin of both of them. Sometimes the rest of the town. But I loved how they navigated their…relationship. Both Harriett and Jensen are deep feeling individuals and their quirky personalities, although opposite, really work together. I enjoyed the author’s story of how it happened.

There were times I wished Harriett and Jenson just talked to each other. However, there wouldn’t be a story. Good read, sometimes funny, sometimes sad, always engaging.

I did enjoy Jensen and Harriet’s story even though Harriet was kind of hard to take to at first. It was nice that she was so confident with herself and knew herself pretty well. It just didn’t really ring true with me regarding her physical relationship with Jensen. I did enjoy that she dressed for comfort and for herself than for others, male or female. My only other objection is that their story could have been told in 2/3rds of the time, a little too wordy and repetitive for me. But, I did read it pretty quickly and would recommend it.

Jensen one of the sons of a big ranching family in town. He is always out for a good time with the ladies and isn't ever going to let anyone see who he really is. He was deeply affected by something that happened to him years ago and he decided he didn't deserve anything good in his life.

Harriet is a stereotypical schoolmarm librarian. She even dresses the part. Or is she something else? She was affected by her past as well. She has a student who is troubled and takes it as a challenge to get someone to talk to him. The kid thinks Jensen is the only one worth anything in town and Harriet is bound and determined to get Jensen to speak to the kid.

There were a few things about this book. First is Jensen. What happened to him was traumatic and you can understand where he is coming from for his reasons he feels he doesn't deserve things. But it almost seems as if he uses it as a crutch. If he really believes he doesn't deserve happiness, then why does he believe he deserves the good times he has with all the women? And wouldn't he maybe try to do something good when he could to atone for his sins?
Harriet seems to think her past justifies how she is now. But she knows it's odd and seems to wear it like a disguise so no one can see the real her.

I couldn't get into this book. It just wasn't my cuppa but it isn't a bad book.

I absolutely love this book. Harriet was a gem and I couldn’t keep the smile off my face when reading. She was a no nonsense breath of fresh air and this was a very well written book. I felt like I really wanted to get to know a real life Harriet.
Jensen and Harriet meet in an unconventional way but Harriet hits Jensen smack dab in the heart with her take charge attitude and teaches Jensen a few things about himself. In turn Harriet opens up and realizes she too can be loved for herself …..no facades.
Great read and I would definitely read this author again.

This was the first book I have read by this author. The beginning was super slow and there was a lot of repetitive inner monologues by the MC's about the same thing. I felt that Harriett was too wrapped up in her "oddness" and really didn't give people a chance. I haven't read the other books in the series so if Jensen's backstory is told there it would have been helpful to have a bit of a repeat. There was lots about his parents and how terrible they were and his best friend dying and that is why he is a Peter Pan man-whore. I didn't really get it though because it was glossed over with no substance.

I might try the author again to see if any other books are better.

All Night Long with a Cowboy by Caitlin Crews is a surprisingly sweet story about embracing one’s unique identity and finding love along the way. While it may have a somewhat unfortunate title, don’t be fooled, the characters are satisfyingly complex and it was the perfect way to start off my summer reading after a difficult year surviving Covid in the realm of public education. The main protagonist is a rockstar school librarian and educator. My hero!
