All Night Long with a Cowboy by Caitlin Crews is a surprisingly sweet story about embracing one’s unique identity and finding love along the way. While it may have a somewhat unfortunate title, don’t be fooled, the characters are satisfyingly complex and it was the perfect way to start off my summer reading after a difficult year surviving Covid in the realm of public education. The main protagonist is a rockstar school librarian and educator. My hero!

This is the first book I've read from this author. I believe it's part of a series, but I read it with no problems since I didn't read the others in the set. I didn't feel lost or like I was missing anything. The story was a bit slow going at first. Then it warmed up pretty fast. I really found I like Jensen but thought maybe Harriet isn't the perfect match for him. But you know what they say, opposites attract. I think that's the case for their relationship. She was so far off from his normal it really drew his interest. I appreciate the fact that her character was set, she knew who she was and didn't need to discover much about herself. With that said I did think she was too stuffy to be likable and relatable. Very prim and proper. I just didn't feel connected to her character. I felt the end jumped a bit too much in time, it really needed to epilogues instead of radical jumps mid chapter. Overall a really good book and I look forward to read more from this author.

This is a funny book. It almost seems stereotypical and a tad bit impossible but it is so much fun. I would recommend this book to anyone who would like an enjoyable read. Jensen Kittredge is a local cowboy/playboy who is just trying to slouch through life pretending nothing matters. Harriett Barnett is a local librarian who thinks things matter a great deal and she is determined to rope Jensen into helping her with a difficult student. It is funny, heartwarming and all comes to a good end.

I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

What a great story! It's fun and kept my focus all the way through. A high school librarian who is comfortable enough in her own skin to be different and discerning takes on the local playboy cowboy to help one of her students. What happens is absolutely scandalous! I loved it. I will definitely be reading more from this author!

A bit of love/hate going on with this one.

Crews crafts the best cowboys! I just love experiencing her stories. They are strong, hardworking, kind, mostly stubborn as heck, but loving and sweet. Jensen is a perfect example with a few more great qualities thrown in.

I actually had a tough time enjoying this story as much as I normally would. I did not care for his love interest, Harriett, most of the time. She is not who I would have created for him at all! She is bossy, demanding, prideful, and super stubborn. Just not the loving character he deserved, especially with his hidden pain.

While the storyline was delightful and I loved watching everyone evolve, All Night Long With a Cowboy just didn’t ring all of my bells. I, however, will not give up on this series. I just love it and love following all of the other characters through the stories! Her books make you wish there really was a Cold River to move to.

I just really enjoyed this book. It was just really easy to get lost in this book. I will definitely be reading more by this author.

This novel left me sighing happily at the end and thinking it was such a lovely read. Harriett reminded me of myself so reading her story was fascinating and entertaining. I loved the verbal sparring between Jensen and Harriett and it was great to see everyone from the prior novels in the series.

Having read book 1 in the Kittredge Ranch series, I welcomed reading "All Night Long with a Cowboy" by Caitlin Crews. I thought this was just a thoroughly enjoyable read for me and once started, I did not put down until finish. I love the fact that Harriet is mistaken to be the stereotypical librarian by Jensen, but however who is very intelligent and determined to get her way when she is on a mission. On the other hand, there is Jensen who for all pretense puts up a good facade of being that good ole rough and tough cowboy but underneath has a heart of gold but doesn't want anyone to know this.

When intelligence meets strength, the boiling pot explodes with two individuals set in their ways and out to get what they want. You have old family generation pitting against what his family looks upon as "new" in the town of Cold River. I loved both the main characters and the banter between the two. The building relationship to love for both of them was nice. As with all my readings, I do like a moderate bit of steamy and it was included in this story. A well-written and lovely story that I recommend the read.

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martins Press for this ARC for my fair and honest review. All opinions in this review are my own.

A simple small town cowboy romance. Easy read, simple characters and light story line. I have a hard time staying focus on a story that lacks dialogue and filled with description and inner self talk. I found the characters were not well rounded and endearing. I like to develop a bond with my characters but if you looking for a simple read this is the book for you.

While this book is the second in the series, I had no problem following the storyline. This steamy cowboy romance featured the often used opposites attract trope. Despite Jensen's playboy ways he seems to be drawn to the very straight laced, high-school librarian, Harriet. In fact, Jensen often compares her to an old-fashioned schoolmarm. But I suppose there is a very good reason that they say opposites attract! While I did find the beginning of the novel to be a bit slow for my taste, overall it was an enjoyable small-town cowboy romance.

This was almost a one sitting book for me. This is book two for the Kittridge boys and we are back in their world of Cold River. We see some familiar faces along with understanding more of Jensen. He’s the one no one take seriously, but the towns librarian has him in her sights. Well, not for what you think. When he helps her out and their attraction boils over, they will have the town on their ears trying to figure it out. There is more to Jensen than a good time and more to Harriett than the quiet librarian. I loved these two and enjoyed it a lot!

I simply could not get into this book. The characters seemed cardboard and way too stereotypical. The librarian character was so over the top that I couldn't get past her first chapter.

This is a sweet western romance turned sultry between an unlikely couple. Harriet seems to be repressed and old fashioned...by outward appearances and Jensen is a flirtatious love ‘em and leave ‘em good ole boy. He hides the fact that he’s still smarting from things long in the past.
When this pair stops dancing around each other, their connection is deep and smokin’ hot. Ms. Crewes tale is hard to put down as she weaves this tale, she combines romance and humor to make this a winner. I received a NetGalley ARC to peruse gratis and offer my opinion freely.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish. Harriet is her own woman and doesn't care how she's perceived. She's a fearless librarian on a mission when she confronts Jensen at a country dive bar and changes his life forever. Jensen can have any woman in town, and probably has, but he is at a loss on how to deal with Harriet. His family has been prominent ranchers in town for generations but Jensen puts on a good ol boy act to keep others out of his business. When these two forces collide sparks fly and the chemistry is red hot. Highly recommended.

I love the bad boy to good man trope and Jensen fits that mold. Loved watching both the hero and the heroine have to grow and learn new things about themselves.

I have to say this might just be my favorite book in this series! Who knew that Jensen and Harriet would have so much chemistry between them. Lets just say that the chemistry between them was HOT! Harriet was so stern but sweet, so uptight but cool and who knew she had what it took to make Jensen take notice! Jensen was a cowboy who could have any lady he wanted but after Harriet tracked him down in a bar the only lady he wanted was her! This is such a great read. It is funny, sweet, hot and so much more. I can't wait to see what happens with the next brother in this series. They keep getting better and better. Thanks NetGalley. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

All Night Long with a Cowboy is the second book in the Kittredge Ranch series based in Cold River, Colorado. Jensen Kittredge is very well known in the small town of Cold River, especially in the romance department. He has little desire for relationships, but is taken aback by his attraction to high school librarian Harriett. When Harriett needs Jensen's help with one of her struggling students, he is frequently thrown into her proximity, potentially leaving his playboy reputation up for a change.

I love a good cowboy romance novel based in a small town, so All Night Long with a Cowboy checked off a lot of boxes for me. The plot of the book is good, and I liked that there is a bit more substance to the book than the main characters just jumping into bed together right away. Jensen and Harriett are a fun opposites attract kind of romance and had pretty palpable chemistry. My main criticism is that the story was slow for me during a few sections and I struggled to stay engaged at times. That said, this is still an enjoyable book, and I will look forward to reading the rest of the series.

Thanks to Netgalley and St. Martin's Press for this ARC; this is my honest and voluntary review.

Loved it!! Jensen & Harriet were an odd pairing to start off but with time we got to really see & enjoy what pulled Jensen closer to Harriet even as he fought every step. I loved Harriet’s oddities & how she never cared how people looked at her. I also loved her pure dedication to her job & students, I kind of felt like she should’ve been a teacher instead of a librarian. We always knew something in Jensen’s past had created this solitary man with the mind that he didn’t deserve a happy life, but actually finding out what it was brought heartbreak for all. I especially enjoyed when Harriet was done with the women feeling sorry for her & took matters into her own hands by not just trying to seduce Jensen but being herself & demanding his full attention......that’s was memorable. The addition of Aidan Hall into their lives was greatly needed. This surly & troubled teenager in need of help & guidance pulled Jensen & Harriet even further together & the never ending question Aidan had that Jensen might actually be his father was interesting. What made it even more was that Jensen finally realized that he wished he was for the boys sake. Definitely recommend. Thank you to the publisher & Net Galley for letting me read this book for an honest review.

I picked this book up without realizing that this isn't really my genre. Not sure why - the title says it all lol. This book is a typical bedroom novel, with the caricature cowboy and a homely-to-hot eccentric librarian.

There are a few redeeming qualities about this book, in particular the storyline where the couple is mentoring a wayward high school boy from the librarian's school. Also, there is a little depth added by the cowboy's refusal to commit due to his own high school tragedy.

I wouldn't choose to pick up another book by this author, but if you like a supermarket romance, you will probably enjoy this one.

I received this book free from the publisher in exchange for my review. All views are mine alone.
