I voluntarily reviewed an ARC from Netgalley.

You know when you pick up a book and the scenario is one of your favorites and you think, "Maybe this one will be pretty good?" You've read the author and enjoyed most of her books and believe it won't be horrible or average? With me so far? Well, I got a huge surprise! THIS BOOK IS FREAKING AMAZING AND BLEW ALL MY CONCEPTIONS OUT OF THE WATER!!! (she screamed at the top of her voice). I loved Harriett so much that I want to be her when I grow up. Nodding head vigorously! (Yes, I do). I settled in and just read and read and read some more. And every page was just better than the last one. Man, I LOVE when that happens.

Jensen's like Shrek. He has layers. Many, many layers. I could have been irritated with him in the beginning except Harriett was so awesome and put him in his place and that was hysterical in and of itself. I enjoyed how Jensen wasn't bothered by Harriett's .... oddness. That helped to seal his fate in my mind. Winner!!!!

My only caveat ...... Make sure you have plenty of time to read. With no distractions. You'll thank me. Wish someone would've warned me. I could've read it in one sitting had I the time. - and was fussing that I didn't. Great novel Ms. Crews!!!

This is a Cowboy Romance, and this is the second book in the Kittredge Ranch series. This book is all about what happens when the weird librarian meets the town Cowboy playboy. The characters in this book was very developed, and I really loved Harriett the Librarian. There is some steamy times in this book. I loved the romance in this book, and I really enjoyed reading this book. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (St. Martin's Press) or author (Caitlin Crews) via NetGalley, so I can give honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that. This book is schedule to be release on August 24-2021.

This is such a cool book. I loved how the vocabulary the author uses plays with that of the teo main characters. It is not your usual “cowboy” story and delightfully not. Great dialog, great plot and great characters combine for a unique and refreshing story.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I always love to come back to Cold River and this story so did not disappoint. I loved it it was such a great enjoyable read. Harriet and Jansen could not be more opposite but as know opposites attract and boy do their attraction burns. I loved how their relationship starts, develops, and ends. We see how the others in Cold River are doing and it makes everything more enjoyable. Definitely a recommended read.

This was a nice, pleasant, book for when I am "in between" genres and need something easy to read. It was sweet and easy and I enjoyed it.

Thank you to the author, the publisher and #netgalley for the ARC

Harriet is the odd librarian who doesn’t conform to rules. Jensen is a Kittredge who prefers to play by his own rules. When Harriet gets Jensen to speak to troubled youth, especially to one that requested Jensen, all bets are off. Harriet and Jensen’s story was a slow build into something different. Harriet doesn’t completely fit the sexy librarian trope, but she is the one who gets Jensen to bring down his walls and do away with his self-imposed rules for life.

Thanks to NetGalley and St Martins for the arc.

This was fine for me. I feel like this series is a solid choice and I never have any complaints. It doesn't get me counting down to release day for the next entry, but I enjoy reading CC's stuff when I'm looking for something in the in-between!

Jensen Kittredge is the family goof and town playboy, but under that is a smart, caring and scarred man who doesn't think he deserves more than his reputations due to the giult of his youth.

Harriett Barnett is the high school librarian and plays up her title as cat lady librarian to a T. Harriett starts a summer program at her school for students struggling academically. When a student needs the assistance of Jensen, Harriett is determined to get the playboy Kittredge to help her out and mainly the student. These two are so different, yet it seems sparks are their immediatley. Harriett has a determination that knocks Jensen over and he can't help but help Harriett out, the problem is, Jensen sees beyond the oversized clothes exterior of Harriett to the strong and beautiful woman hiding below. These two have their own issues separate from the student and seems they each are exactly what the other needs to heal.

Harriet, the school librarian, is odd. She wears unfashionable, shapeless clothing because they’re more comfortable and functional. She is a serious person. Doesn’t hang out; doesn’t do small talk. Prefers her own company. She tells you the truth, straight up. In contrast, Jensen is a fool. He’s a gorgeous playboy whom nobody in town takes seriously. Always has a wisecrack for you. Always hanging out in a bar, surrounded by women. So when Harriet demands he come speak to her summer school class of failing students, because one of them dared her to invite the loser Jensen, he agrees, on a lark. They bond over concern for a troubled kid, and as they spend time together, their attraction grows to its HEA conclusion. This is an “opposites attract” trope, but as with the best of them, this romance reveals that they’re perfect for each other. Because Harriet offers Jensen the compassion he was deprived of when he was a struggling kid. And he offers her a fuller enjoyment of life.

What I liked about this book was the depth of the characters. Jensen’s background, and his reaction to it, was rich and multi-layered. Harriet’s was rich and unusual but believable. They were fully-dimensional characters and I enjoyed them very much. The only negative is that it’s slow. She says/does something and he raises an eyebrow, and then there’s two pages of introspection before he responds, and then another page of what that means before the ball heads back over the net. It was filler. Too bad, because this is a good book by a good writer, and now I’m curious about the rest of the series. Thanks to Netgalley for letting me preview this book.

This book was a very enjoyable read with good character and storyline development that as the pages were turned Jensen and Harriet pulled me right into their journey as it unfolded throughout the entire book!

I requested to read and review this book from St. Martin Publishing Company. This story line takes places in the Colorado area. Ranch towns that are spread out. You will meet Harriet who speaks her mind and is comfortable and confident with who she is. Jensen is a cowboy through and through that tradegy has casted him to do things a little different. You will also meet other Kittredge family members and members of the town. Can two people who are complete opposite find common ground. Can someone be helped not matter what their circumstances. Is there such thing as true love. You will fall in love with the town and all their quirks. This is for a mature reader and can be read anywhere.

Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. Harriet who is a librarian works with trouble kids over the summer. She wants to get a smoke jumper to talk to them. When she meets the smoke jumper he says no. I enjoyed the chemistry that developed between Harriet and Jensen the smoke jumper.

Harriet and Jensen are opposites in every way and they both have issues. But as they work closely together, they learn to let them go. Harriet and Jensen pull you into the story from the start,

This is a well-written, emotional, fun read. Well done.

I received an advance reader copy from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

I knew I could count on Caitlin Crews to deliver me a sexy and emotionally satisfying story.

I love the opposites-attract trope: Jensen, the town flirt and resident carefree, love-em-and-leave-em guy, with Harriett the school librarian and paragon of virtue. I love their banter (it's pretty impressive how Harriett didn't strangle Jensen most of the time because the dude could be ANNOYING with his devil may care attitude), and the sexy is *chef's kiss*.

Zach's story next! Wow what a wait that would be.

Harriett is a high school librarian running a program to help kids who are struggling in school and in life. Jenson is the town clown, now helping to run the family farm after his father's heart attack. Harriett needs Jenson's help getting through to one of her students. Together they'll learn more about themselves than they thought possible.

Loved it! A great quick read. Well written with characters that really pull you in. Reading this story was like being a fly on the wall in someone's life.

*Thank you to the publisher for this eARC.

Caitlin does it again. She's a master at making sure her readers feel like they're in the story like a fly on the was all. The lessons she sneaks in are ones that need expressing during this unprecedented time.

“All Night Long with a Cowboy”, by Caitlin Crews (St. Martin’s Press), is a very enjoyable story, featuring an unlikely romantic couple with the most torrid chemistry after a slow burn beginning.
The opposites attract trope is developed well and the author does a great job emphasizing Jensen and Harriet’s differences and the sparks between them despite the contrast.
Both are great characters, although none of them that relatable. The tortured hero hiding the pain behind a façade of laid-back charm is very well done and gives the male character an aura of mystery that plays well with all that apparent nonchalance. When we realize the extent of the loneliness and the feelings of guilt and self-punishment, Jensen gains more substance.
I found the heroine hard to relate to because of some odd personality traits, but that doesn’t mean the character isn’t interesting. Perhaps the trope of the introverted (but not shy!) librarian is given new dimensions; she’s a mixture of intelligence and analytical wisdom and social ineptitude.
The awakening of Harriet’s sensuality/sexuality was cute to watch. In the beginning I was a bit annoyed with Jensen’s indulgence towards Harriet calling her “his odd little duck” or “an adorable little wet hen of a woman”.
The references about Jensen’s drawl, laziness or lounging seemed often redundant.
The secondary characters are well flashed out. Matias, Jensen’s best friend, is a promising character and I hope he will have his own story. The same for Aidan, a sweet, troubled teenager.

I received this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story. It did keep my attention and I also connected with the characters. This story is about Jenson and Harriet. Harriet is the high school librarian and Jensen runs his family’s horse ranch. Harriet is very old fashioned in her dress. She sees herself as weird or accurately thinks people sees her as weird. She is socially awkward, but has a kind heart. Harriet won a date from a charity auction with a local firefighter, but he moved out of town. So the fire chief said Jensen will step in. The problem is Jensen had no idea he was the replacement. Harriet didn’t want a “date”, but wanted someone to talk to her summer school class of kids with grade/social problems and try to give them something to work towards. Jensen doesn’t see himself as a role model and tries to get out of it. Of course, he helps, but it’s cute how Harriet gets him to help.
I did enjoy how their relationship develops and their discovery of each other. I would recommend this story.

Jensen is a successful businessman and horseman on his family’s ranch in Colorado. He prefers to be known as the town clown, making everyone smile and charming the ladies. He has no intention of dating or having a long-lasting relationship. Miss Harriet is the high school librarian and wants him to help mentor Aiden. Jensen tells her he does not mentor and prefers to not speak to her summer class. Harriet is relentless, stubborn, and smart. Her students are very important to her and she refuses to let Jensen say no when Aiden has requested his presence. It does not take long before Jensen and Harriet are drawn to each other. The sparing of words between Harriet and Jensen are fun and the speculation on the part of the small-town gossips enhance the story. The characters of Harriet and Jensen are well-developed. He is hiding a great deal of guilt. She has always been a bit odd, not fitting in, but is determined to be true to herself no matter what others think. Loved this book.

Jensen and Harriet’s story was a whirlwind of emotion! The semi-new town librarian and resident playboy’s first meet was definitely not starry eyes and a bed of roses. Instead, it was more chilly winds meet the heat at the equator, but they paired really well together. Jensen and Harriet both have issues to overcome, forgive, and let go, and their journey brought a layer to the story I wasn’t expecting but very much enjoyed.
