Jensen is one used to getting smiles not scowls. Harriet might find him alluring but she has not the for that right now. She has a student that needs help with her thinking he could help. Since they are opposites it is fun to ride with them in this. Turn the pages to see the outcome for this one.

I always enjoy stories centered around the Kittredge family. Ms. Crews outdid herself with this one. I loved the matchup between the rigid and buttoned up librarian and the town playboy. From the exterior, Jensen and Harriet appear to be the most unlikely couple. Yet, as you dig deeper, they are the perfect compliment for one another. There is so much that you don't know about Jensen initially. However, once his backstory is revealed, it shines the light on why he behaves the way he does. With that information, I totally swooned over him. He's quite the standup man.

Harriet was a wonderful character as well. I enjoyed seeing her evolution from the "typical" librarian to a more modern and less uptight version. Gaining a better understanding of how she viewed herself as "different" and therefore gave everyone the "different" person she thought they expected. Her perceptions were a bit misguided and seeing her realization and how she changed things was quite rewarding. Once she understood that she could be unique and different without having to look like she was twenty years older and way too reserved, she was free to be herself without presenting a "fake persona."

Overall, I always like to see the family interactions. In this book, we were able to also see Jensen and Harriet connect with the local juvenile "delinquent, Aiden Hall. Aiden was misunderstood and needed someone to take an interest in guiding him. When Harriet and Jensen do so, he thrives.

All Night Long with a Cowboy was a perfect addition to the Kittredge ranch series. I look forward to reading more as they become available. I love everything about the setting and the characters that this author has created.

Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC. I voluntarily chose to review it and the opinions contained within are my own.

I really loved All Night Long with a Cowboy. I even shed a few tears which I don't normally do. There was such comfort in the setting of this novel, both characters were so lovely, especially Harriet. The romance was so well-done, I just loved this novel very much.

All Night Long with a Cowboy, book 2 in Caitlin Crews’ Kittredge Ranch small-town/contemporary western romance series is not your typical enemies-to-lovers/opposites attracts romance, and that’s one of the things I liked most about it. Crews’ narrative flow is different than I’m used to, perhaps affected by the character’s quirky personalities. She deftly develops her story and characters with vibrant description that brings the novel to life. The eccentricities of the hero Jensen and heroine Harriet make their banter and interactions, which are sweet, sexy, funny, and emotional, delightful, and entertaining.

Jensen Kitteridge is Cold River’s notorious playboy cowboy. When he is confronted in the town’s seedy bar by the high school’s strait-laced librarian telling him he’s been assigned to help her with a school project, he is most definitely not interested in getting involved. At least, not in her school project. Obviously, the last place Harriet Barnett wants to be is in a sleazy bar talking to a surly cowboy with Jensen’s reputation, but one of her students needs her help. She is surprised, however, to find herself attracted to him. After all, Harriet likes her life tidy and controlled. Neither of which is compatible with Jensen she soon discovers. Jensen lives down to the town's bad expectations, hiding behind his playboy cowboy facade. They both discover there is more to the other than expected.

The interactions and relationships between characters are pivotal in their development – between Harriet and Jensen in particular – and their relationships with secondary characters as well. Talk about opposites attracting. These two couldn’t be any more different. But somehow, they balance each other out and end up being perfect for each other. He likes and accepts her just as she is, bringing her out of her shell and opening her world to passion, love, and self-discovery. She throws him off his game, challenging him, but can she break through the wall he has built between himself and the world and give him a reason to deal with the past, put it behind him, and fully live again?

A sweet, emotional, steamy, and charming romance with quirky, relatable characters and sexy banter, All Night Long With the Cowboy explores how being comfortable in your skin and with who you are and opening yourself up to love changes your view of the world and yourself and helps you make peace with the past.

I enjoyed this story very much.

5 Not The Total Cliche Stars
* * * * * Spoiler Free
This was not what I thought I was going to get. This was a Surprising 5 Star read for me. How did that happen...Well, this book used a troupe of the prissy librarian and the randy cowboy to lure me in. Easy reading and nothing to think about...except that is not what exactly happened.

Caitlin Crews took what has been a premise forever and used it to give her readers a story that examined some very serious issues we all could learn from. We all have been in situations where we behave a certain way because it was expected of us. It could be an innocent thing like being called the "baby of the family" to more serious labeling of how generations of a family have been tagged "good for nothing". It is the understanding of this labeling, from siblings and parents, to those of a community, to those we label ourselves and how we manifest them.

This focus on these actions, those by each of these main characters and town had me captivated. The real questions and answers given were something each of us could take away. This is the beauty of romance books, in my opinion. Real-life issues explored, sometimes things we wouldn't usually think about, and then presented beautifully wrapped in a story focused on relationships.

This story was fun, strong, and if you are willing to see the lessons out there, truly eye-opening. Also, don't forget, it is a romance book that has all the needed chemistry and fun Caitlin Crews knows how to write.

This is book 2 in the Kittredge Ranch series and can absolutely be read as a stand alone. Although I would read the 1st book just to get an understanding of the family and why they are the way they are. In this one we get Jensen Kittredge and Harriet Barnett's story. Jensen is one of the most notorious cowboys in their town. He always has women willing to warm his bed, even knowing they won't get anything else from him. But when the prissy town librarian comes up to him in the most disreputable bar in town, he doesn't understand why he is attracted to her. Especially when she doesn't want what all the other women want from him. Harriet doesn't like bars such as the one she entered, nor does she like insolent cowboys. Even ones she shouldn't find attractive. She needs help for her student though and she will do what she has to, even brave bars, to get Jensen's help. But she didn't plan on how much Jensen would blow apart her orderly life. Or how much they both might need each other.

Ok, so I am not going to lie. I really didn't like Jensen at first. I really just thought he was a giant jerk. And I had a hard time connecting with Harriet because she made me feel like we should be back in the old west or something with her attitude. And while I grew to love Jensen and understand where he was coming from, I still struggled with Harriet and I am still not sure if I even liked her. Let alone liked her with him. The story itself was good, I will definitely give you that. And like I said, Jensen made the whole book for me! There was so much more to him than he portrayed at the beginning and I loved that there was so much more depth to him. I just wish that maybe Harriet had grown with him because I still don't feel like she did. But on a whole, I did like the book and I would probably reread it!

Thank you NetGalley, Caitlin Crews and St. Martin's Press for the copy of All Night Long With a Cowboy. This is my personal review.
The first thing that grabbed my attention was the cover of this book. Seeing that cover I knew I wanted to read this book.
The sparks and sizzle between Jensen and Harriet made the story just jump off the pages while I read this book. The setting of the story was great.
The author did a fantastic job of making the characters real and believable. I read this book without realizing how long I had been reading.

All Night Long with a Cowboy is the second story in the Kittredge Ranch series and it was an entertaining, fun story. When high school librarian Harriet Barnett asks, more like demands, Jensen Kittredge to help her with one of her delinquent summer school students, it forms the beginning of an unlikely friendship.

Jensen is the carefree playboy of Cold River and has no plans to settle down, carrying a guilt from when he was a teen. He’s intrigued by Harriet and slowly wants to uncover the sexy woman under that ill-fitting cardigan.

I loved the heroine Harriet and her odd ways and loved that she was very comfortable in her own skin. Harriet led an orderly life and was okay being the 5-cat lady. Her attraction to Jensen was something she didn’t understand but didn’t fight it. She was good for Jensen and she saw the man behind the mask he portrays to everyone in town and his own family. I liked that she took her job seriously and wanted to help the young man that just needed a little extra attention to change the course of his life. Her empathy really struck a chord with me.

The author has written a well-balanced opposites attract romance. She developed the characters and built their relationship, along with a cast of family and secondary characters to play off of. The characters were intriguing and the storyline kept my interest. Crews has become one of my favorite authors because her stories are captivating and entertaining. I’m a big fan of small town romances and All Night Long with a Cowboy is one worth checking out.

As soon as I started reading I was pulled right into the middle of this book and was totally involved in all that was happening from beginning to end with characters that jump right out of the book and into your heart and a beautifully written story that had all the feels. I loved the undeniable attraction and chemistry between cowboy Jensen Kittridge and the high school librarian Harriet Barnett. If you enjoy well-crafted contemporary romance that you can't put down, you will love "All Night Long With a Cowboy" by gifted author Caitlin Crews. I received an advance reader copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

ALL NIGHT LONG WITH A COWBOY – Caitlin Crews
Kittredge Ranch, Book 2

Contemporary Romance

Cold River, Colorado – Present Day

Jensen Kittredge has a reputation in Cold River as the “love them and leave them” type when it comes to women. He has a type and high school librarian Harriet Barnett shouldn’t be on his radar. One night while Jensen is in a bar, Harriet marches in and heads straight for him. She’d been trying to reach him, and he hasn’t been returning her calls. She needs him to pay up on a bachelor auction bid she won—him—and wants to use it by having him talk to her students. Jensen is amused at Harriet’s huffiness with him because she scowls and stomps her feet while talking to him. Yet, deep down, there is a hint of interest brewing inside. Because he is a man of his word, he agrees to her request.

While Harriet and Jensen don’t necessarily run in the same circles—she certainly doesn’t frequent bars—in the coming days they encounter each other. She is as straightlaced as they come, dressing in clothes that are too baggy and acting far older than what he suspects her age to be. Jensen begins to see Harriet as a challenge. He will do whatever she wants, but he hopes to get her to unwind. And he begins to unravel her perfectly controlled life. For a woman who loves her cats more than dating, she suddenly wants to kiss Jensen. Will the sparks that flew between them at the first meeting lead to something more? Can a man who is bent on avoiding relationships soon find himself wanting to tie himself to the last woman he ever expected he would find attractive?

In ALL NIGHT LONG WITH A COWBOY, we meet the quintessential librarian who dresses in prim, baggy clothing and wears glasses. Harriet was raised by her older parents and homeschooled. While she did attend college, she doesn’t have any experience when it comes to men and dating. Jensen, on the other hand, has plenty of experience when it comes to women. But Harriet is not his usual type. She confounds him as much as she is inherently attractive to him and no one else. However, as much as they spar and tangle with each other—her innate need to do things by the book and his responding rebellious attitude—they continue to interact. Soon, Jensen makes it clear he wants her in his bed. To his surprise, Harriet wants that too.

ALL NIGHT LONG WITH A COWBOY is a cute, funny tale about opposites attracting. They certainly do not seem to have a lot in common. Jensen might be a bad boy, but deep down, he’s a good guy. Harriet is inquisitive and sees right through his tough guy exterior. If they end up having an affair, will anything good come of it? She is still different from any woman Jensen has dated before. But love always has unexpected plans…

Prepare to cheer for Harriet and Jensen as they fall in love. Will they end up with a happily-ever-after? Find out the answer by picking up ALL NIGHT LONG WITH A COWBOY.

Second book in the Cowboy Kittredge Ranch series. This series is based in Colorado in the small town of “Cold River.” All the Kittredge men are lovable and funny while also being rough and strong.
Harriet is a single cat loving librarian and Jensen is the outgoing, fun loving cowboy……..what is going to bring the two together? Will sparks fly? Fun times as they begin to really know each other and discover what makes them who they are.
Enjoyable read though somewhat slow going at times.
Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and author for the opportunity to read this book for my honest opinion. All opinions expressed are my own.

All Night Long with a Cowboy is the 2nd book in the Kittredge Ranch series. I am not a big fan of picking up books mid-series, but this series is set in the same world as the Cold River Ranch series. Since I had read that series and was familiar with some of the characters, I had no issues reading this book. But, I suggest that you read book one to get a complete background on the Kittredge family.

The main plotline in All Night Long with a Cowboy is the romance between Harriet and Jensen. It is your typical opposites attract trope. What made this book great to read is that there were layers to both Harriet and Jensen. And those layers were peeled back and explored during the book.

There is a secondary plotline involving Aidan Hall. I was a little put off by two things about that plotline. One being that Aidan was screaming out for help and everyone played ostrich. Everyone except Harriet and she had to bulldoze Jensen into helping him. The other was that there was this expectation that Aidan would end up like his father, uncles, and grandfather. That made me almost blow a gasket when Jensen first told Harriet that. And I got even madder when Jensen said it to Aidan!!! But everything did turn out for the best. Still, that was the maddest I have been for a secondary character in a long time.

I like Harriet. I liked that she marched to the beat of her own drummer. She was a self-proclaimed cat lady (she had five cats). But I felt that she was a little two-dimensional at times. Her character didn’t feel as fleshed out to me as it should have. But then again, The author wrote Jensen to be larger than life, and he did take over scenes with her.

I liked Jensen too. I did feel that his backstory (about what happened when he was a teenager and the damage his childhood did to him) was dragged out. But I did appreciate it when he told Harriet about Daniel. That was his first step towards healing. I also got why he never changed people’s minds about him. All they saw was the fire jumper who was up for a good time, the man whore who never stayed two nights in a row. Instead, who Jensen was deep down was not even close to that image.

The romance angle of the book was well written. Jensen and Harriet had some serious chemistry going on. It was apparent from the beginning that they were going to have fireworks. And oh boy, did they!!

The end of All Night Long with a Cowboy was interesting. I liked the peek into the future that the author gave with Jensen and Harriet. I also couldn’t tell who book three is going to be about.

I would recommend that anyone over the age of 21 read All Night Long with a Cowboy. There is graphic sex, mild language, and some mild violence.

I had a really hard time with this book overall. I could not seem to get into it. There was a lot of “thoughts” but not a lot of interaction between the characters. In chapter 12ish there was some more interactions from them however that does tapers back down again a few chapters later. It just seem like something was missing. The only character I really liked was Aidan he just wanted so wanted something better for his life and wanted no needed someone to believe in him to make it happen. There is adult situation through out the story so it may not be suitable for all.

The cowboy and the librarian want more could you ask for. This book shows that true love doesn’t ask you to change. The spinster high school librarian get the hot cowboy. Harriet and Jensen’s first meeting isn’t all soft and cuddly but they over come a lot to be together and I loved the realness of that. Fun, fast read…..

I enjoyed the first book in this series but I loved this one. There was just something about this couple that just got to me on a really deep level. Maybe it was because I felt I could see a bit of myself in Harriet or that I felt that these two together equaled so much more than they were alone or that they could see beyond what other saw when they looked at them because I felt and saw all of that. So I fell hard and quick for this read but I'm not going to say it was perfect because I didn't think it was. AS much as I liked Harriet, I sometimes almost felt that the author wrote her as a caricature, which if I'm brutally honest bothered me. I personally adore quirky characters. I did really appreciate that there was no "Great Transformation" moment for the character though. The chemistry, banter and story were all great and as a whole I thought this slow burning romance was a real winner.

“He was a mess.” All Night Long with a Cowboy by Caitlin Crews

3.5 stars. Maybe 4. Not sure. I think this is the first time I’ve read anything by this author. I think. Or maybe it’s been ages. This book was a pleasant read. I enjoy opposites attract trope so this one got me.

Jensen us a cowboy, works with horses. Harriet is a librarian, unapologetic owner of cats. And they are drawn to each other. Jensen can’t understand it. She’s being almost practical about it.

Jensen had a lot more to grow for me. Harriet, had some too, more of coming out of her shell. They fit well and I did root for them.

Nice light book yo read.

Thank you St Martin’s Press, St Martin’s Paperback and NetGalley for the arc!

All Night Long with a Cowboy is an interesting Kittredge story with bad boy Jensen at the center. Caitlin Crews delivers a likable Jensen with his wild ways and guilt that seem to follow him. No one could be more opposite than prim and proper high school librarian, Harriett Barnett. Jensen needs a purpose in life other then irritating his older brother, Zack. Harriett needs a life consisting of more then her students and cats. She is a bit of a cliché.

The family past has affected this family in many ways that are not good. It is good to see Jensen drawn into helping Harriet and one of her students. Much is revealed in this story that keeps you reading. The community, Kittredge reputation, Jensen and his family are as intriguing as the romance between these two unlikely characters.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was a good and satisfying romance for me. And I base that on the fact that when I started this story, I wasn’t at all sure I could get into it. I wasn’t sure that I was going to like Harriett at all, but for me the basis of a good book is one that draws me in, changes my mind about the characters, and grow to love them by the time the HEA arrives. Jensen and Harriett would seem like opposites and I really enjoyed how superficial they seemed at the beginning, but how much depth the author was able to give them as the story unfolded. All in all, a very fun read for me.

I really enjoyed this opposites attract cowboy romance by Caitlin Crew, the first I’ve read in this series but it definitely won’t be the last. There’s a slow, almost lackadaisical pace to this story, one that perfectly fits the attitude of Jensen, the good-time guy who doesn’t seem to take much in life very seriously…except his job as a smoke jumper. That’s a guess, though, since we never actually see him doing that job. That laid back style is jarred when the very serious and extremely buttoned-up high school librarian, Harriet, marches in his life, demanding his help with her students. No one demands anything from Jensen, because most are too busy underestimating him…which he encourages. But Harriet is no slouch in getting what she wants, and is not put off by Jensen’s reputation or his flirtatious overtures. She knows how people see her…the repressed, oddly dressed cat lady. She embraces these attitudes and honestly doesn’t care, as she’s been viewed this way most of her life. So what happens when these two start interacting and spending time together is the meat and joy of this book. As much as I loved the sexy, sarcastic Jensen, I equally enjoyed the serious, fact driven Harriet. They were an interesting combination who, naturally, were more alike than they “should” be. Where some might see them changing, I saw them growing…growing past the boxes they’ve put themselves in, as has the community at large. I loved this pairing as much as I loved them as individuals. I hoping for a bit of clarity about a few secondary characters, so I’ll definitely be looking for the next book in the series, too!
