I received an eARC of this book from Netgalley. All opinions are my own!

In a world where people live their lives in perfect dreams, Sam wakes up to face the true injustice of it all. Can Sam become the hero he's always dreamed of being?

The world of this book was so intriguing and even hit a little to close to home as something that could conceivably happen! I was taken in by the world and even wished that I could experience the dreams for myself. The idea of a perfect world without any sorrow or pain is something that we can all long for, and I quickly found myself just as drawn in as the people of this story.

Unfortunately, I felt like we were thrown into the world a bit too quickly, and I found myself very confused for the first bit of the book, more than I usually am with a new book world. I wish that there had been a bit more in the beginning and that the info hadn't been dumped all at once. I do appreciate, however, that this is very likely how Sam would have felt upon waking, and I can definitely say that this has hepled me connect with him more.

Overall, I really enjoyed the uniqueness of this story and the overall messages about injustice and a "perfect" world. If you like a good sci-fi that will make you think, this book is for you!
