This is a good book. I really enjoyed it and how it moved along at a great pace. The characters are well developed and the story is packed with action and adventure. The authors do a great job delivering a story with a solid plot and interesting subplots.

this was a wonderfully done entry to start the Quantum Ascension series, it was a great read with interesting plot. I enjoyed the way the author writes and look forward to more from them.

I enjoyed this book, it was a fun read. Not mil-fic or hard science fiction, but not space opera either. A bit of a mash up, War machine AIs (warmechs) running rampant, most of humanity dead, the rest in fortified megacities or space, a ruling class shoring themselves up on the backs of others. All AI development is controlled and limited to prevent the same thing happening again vis the war AIs. The main protagonist, Ben Hamilton, survives an ambush by warmechs and heads off an attack on the megacity that he is protecting. This earns him a promotion to an elite group the AI Control Board (AICB) and a mission to Ceres to check out a company that may be running an AI that is beyond allowed limits. This is just the start of subterfuge, advanced nanotechnology, rogue AIs, Aliens, & more.

I really enjoyed this book! It has great worlduilding and great characters, my favorite were definitely Key and Pandora. The story is also very interesting and well-developed, with good turns and exciting action! It's a great entry point for the series, and I'll definitely be looking for book two when it gets published!

Also, the technology in this world... my god, is great! Really. All the conflict with the AI is really scary and was great to read. Very cool read, specially for sci-fi geeks like me.
