A great read really wasn't what I was expecting to read.. The plot was very well written and I cannot wait for another book. This was from a new to me and a great author.

I have voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this title given to me through NetGalley. This book was just absolutely wonderful. It was just so easy to get lost in and I just couldn’t put it down. I just lost myself within this amazing story. I most definitely will read more by this author.

Even if it's well written I found it a bit too slow and the story didn't keep my attention.
Not my cup of tea.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

The MDPI team comprised of Mike and Madeline Delaney become involved in two separate cases. After attending a party at the home of Tara and Troy Richardson they are awakened by an early morning phone call. Tara is missing. The person who has kidnapped Tara has threatened to kill her if the police are called, so Troy contacts Madeline and Mike who are private investigators. Meanwhile, they are asked to find Dylan Latham, the son of Burt Latham who was instrumental in saving Madeline’s life. As they begin their search, they realize that Dylan’s girlfriend, Paige, is also missing. As they call in Samir, their tech genius, they begin to sense that there is something wrong with the case involving Tara…things are not adding up. Also, Dylan’s girlfriend had found a missing and possibly stolen piece of art in the home where she was living as a caretaker. What could that have to do with them and where are they? I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

This book was sent to me by Netgalley on Kindle for review. It is character driven with not loveqblr characters. Slow story. Try it though you might like it.

Three missing persons.
Two private investigators.
And two cases that are anything but what they seem.

The MDPI team agrees to join forces with former nemesis Russell Barnett to find Dylan Latham, the son of the man who lost his life while working to save Madeline's.

Books about ransoms are my favorite and this one didn't disappoint! The writing honestly blew me away! And I was hooked! I will say though it started off a bit slow but that didn't take away from the book any!
A good mystery book.with an amazing story!
