This book is fun and teaches some great lessons! My kids loved hearing about Norman’s antics and talking about what they learned about friendship!

This book was really cute. I enjoyed the expressive art, and it was very good at conveying emotions that matched the words on the page. The words repeated enough to delight a child but were varied enough that an adult would enjoy it as well. The book also did a good job tackling feelings that all children have.

Delightful. Norman has real feelings and the CUTEST little face. It can be hard when things change. What an excellent depiction of that.

Norman the porcupine is friends with Mildred the tree, and they do everything together. Until the Other Tree shows up one day. A cute story about making friends and being okay with sharing your friends. Also, a good book about taking responsibility for your actions and admitting when you've made a mistake. Great artwork, good humor, and great for kids and adults.
