I enjoyed the characters of this book but the ending was almost a little too perfect for me. The story kept me interested though.

Noelle is stuck in her car, in a blizzard, returning from a reunion she hated. She recently broke up with her boyfriend, Ed, and she is still mourning the death of her best friend, Daisy. As he phone loses battery, she is forced to leave her car and ask a fellow stranded person for some charge. Sam happens to be in this car, and they spend the next eight hours in perfect bliss.

As they both return to their "normal" lives, they can't forget about one another. What happened as "chance" might just become a life long love story.

I’m not sure how I feel about this one still. I liked it while I was reading it but I found it very forgettable. I did really like the characters and the story line.

I am sorry for the inconvenience but I don’t have the time to read this anymore and have lost interest in the concept. I believe that it would benefit your book more if I did not skim your book and write a rushed review. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks NetGalley for the preview!

I really enjoyed this book! The main characters were lovable and interesting. The little hence of intertwined fate throughout their lives me engaged. I loved that Noelle was interested in flowers and used them to brighten up peoples days. The depiction of postpartum mom life was an accurate and Important addition.

This is the kind of romance that every reader looking for that one SIGH as the happily ever after becomes real should read. 8 hours stuck on the side of the road with a PERFECT stranger sounds more like the plot to a murder mystery but it's one of the best starts to a romance I've read for awhile.

Looking at this cover I assumed it took place around Christmas and while the meet-cute does taken place in the snow (albeit in March), the book spans every season. Two strangers who spent 8 hours together and keep running into each other over the next year, is it fate or just a coincidence? This was a run romance that needs to be read with Taylor Swift's Invisible String playing in the background.

I just wanted to give Noelle a hug. The poor girl has gone through a lot. This story was sweet and deep and cozy. I loved how the story came together with the red thread concept.

I was looking forward to reading this book and it was not for me. I could not connect with the characters at all and struggled through the plot. I thought the characters fell flat and the romance was not great.

This book was just sadly not for me! I was hoping for something different but it turned out to be something I was not expecting, which is okay and I'm sure someone else would love it!

Thank you Atria Books and NetGalley for providing me with an advanced copy of this book.
If you're craving a lighthearted romance akin to a Hallmark movie, this cheery read will surely hit the spot.
The synopsis suggests a tale of two individuals destined to meet repeatedly by "fate," but it's presented in a refreshingly non-superstitious manner, which I greatly appreciate when this trope is executed well. The exploration of heavy themes combined with a beautifully portrayed love story has firmly established this book as a new favorite of mine. It's a compelling read that left a lasting impression.

Eight Perfect Hours was such a cute, sweet read. This wasn't a full on romcom, but more of a finding yourself, the love of your life, and your purpose. Loved it!

Loved it! I love intriguing stories that "could" have happened (and who knows, maybe they did?) but are also so enjoyable that we don't have to bother ourselves with whether or not this is real. (Plus, I talked to my friend over Facebook Messenger for THREE DAYS while she was stranded in a freak blizzard... in ALABAMA, of all places!) I identified with the "what if" factor of the story as it played out, too.

Cute book perfect for a long road trip around the holidays! I would rate this book about 4. Loved the story line and just a happy easy read.

I loved Dear Emmie Blue so I had high expectations for this one. It was cute but didn’t knock my socks off.

I am so glad I read this during the winter! This is a beautifully written story about love and the serendipity of life. I absolutely adore the movie Serendipty so when I read the description for this, I knew that I had to read this book. During a snow storm/blizzard to strangers meet by chance. They know that they will never meet again and they open up in ways that they wouldn't with someone they know. Life has other plans.
This was a great romance story that will pull at your heart strings and make you think about how you would react in the same situation.

It was okay. Different from what I normally read. I would probably pick up another book by this author just to see if I really do like the author’s books or not.

Adorable cover and fun story line. I did not care for the language and romance. Thank you for allowing me to read and review this.

When Sam Atwood offers Noelle a charger when they're stranded on a closed highway due to snow, everything for Noelle slowly begins to change.

Based on the cover, I expected this to be a holiday or wintery book, so I was a little disappointed upon realizing that it briefly took place in winter and then was more of an all-seasons book. Despite that, Eight Perfect Hours was still a really cute romance. I loved the idea that Sam and Noelle's paths were meant to cross.
