I was very well written. The stories are all connected, happening at the same event. It is really rare to see books/stories that flow from one to another.

My personally favorite is the story about Louise and Ewan. Totally not a match and yet they are a match. Louise has a mother whose only wish is that she marries. And marries well.

Ewan is a writer and publisher of scandalous stories.

Compromise Under the Mistletoe by Janna MacGregor is a story about a married couple that has to reconnect again.

Wishing Under the Mistletoe by Christi Caldwell is a story about former fiancés. After years have passed they learn about each other and they fall in love again.

A Mistletoe Kiss by Eloisa James is a story about Cressida who tries to live her own life, free of her father. She waits for the opportunity to free herself of her family. Interesting book, although I have read much much better book by Eloisa James.

Four stories set in the same houseparty
A Mistletoe Kiss 5* by Eloisa James - Cressie never had a proper season as her father needed her to run his annual revelry. Now her father is dying and she will finally be free to live her own life, only to find the Duke has removed her dowry and wants her to spend the next ten years as a drudge to his ambition even after his death. When her cousin’s friend starts paying attention to her, having ignored her for years, she is naturally suspicious……. A delightful romance.
Wishing Under the Mistletoe 3.5* by Christi Caldwell - Ten years have passed since Isabelle broke her betrothal. Cyrus was so caught up in trying to make his fortune that he had little time for her; constantly distracted and off hand with his attention. Will the years that have passed change anything?
Compromise Under the Mistletoe 4* by Janna MacGregor - A married couple have to learn how to communicate with each other in order to mend their marriage. An enjoyable story.
Mischief & Mistletoe 4.5* by Erica Ridley - Louisa Harcourt hides the fact that she is a poet from Society and is delighted to meet a fellow poet at the houseparty, not knowing that this is his cover and that he couldn’t hold a conversation about poetry if his life depended upon it. Ewan falls for Louisa but not only is he penniless and without a title but unknown to her, his actions several years earlier ruined her life.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A Christmas anthology featuring four original stories by Eloisa James, Christi Caldwell, Janna MacGregor and Erica Ridley. All four books take place at The Duke of Greystoke's Christmas Revelry. The grumpy Duke is still directing his affairs from his sickbed. The first story involves Lady Cressida, daughter of the duke. He's never wanted her to marry because she takes care of all the arrangements for his Revelry. She has an insta-love romance. The next story is a second chance romance with two who were betrothed 10 years prior but who split up and are reunited at the house party. The third is a young married couple. They've been married two years but separated for one of them. She is the Duke's niece and wants her dowry settlement early. The last story is another girl whose mother wants her to marry the Duke's heir but she has more interest in the poet.

I enjoyed all four stories and they all rate between 3-4 stars. I think the first could easily have been a whole novel. And my least favorite was probably the last mostly because I didn't find the male love interest interesting. This will be a delightful read for fans of historical romances especially if you like the authors. Thank you to NetGalley and Avon and Harper Collins for an ARC ebook in exchange for an honest review.

I love a good romance anthology! Sometimes you just want to sit down have a cup of tea and read a lovely short story with a happily ever after. Christmas Mistletoe is made up of four short stories from well-known romance authors. They all bring there A/B+ game to this book. I am a long time Eloisa James fan which is what drew me to the book but all four authors did a excellent job with the material. I was reading it in the middle of summer And it had me anticipating the upcoming colder days of winter and Christmas time! #MistletoeChristmas #Nettgalley

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the same location and peeking in on the lives of attendees at the Duke of Greystoke's Christmas Revelry. Each story by a different author highlighted unique problems, all with the backdrop of the holiday season. Usually in an anthology there is a great difference in quality, however 'Mistletoe Christmas' was definitely an exception. Each story was delightful, although in certain cases diminished by the graphic sex. My only issue is what happens to the old Duke...and his nephew, the next Duke.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

I was happy to read an advanced copy of this Christmas anthology. I’ve previously enjoyed reading other books by each of the four authors.
There’s a lot of emotions packed into these heartwarming stories set @ the same large holiday gathering. Plenty of matchmaking afoot! A few overlapping characters tie the stories together, but each has a distinct couple fighting for their HEA. I truly liked them all, & wished this collection didn’t have to end.
Now I’m just waiting for a certain future Duke to get his own story…

I received an ARC through NetGalley, & this is my voluntary review.

"From four beloved writers - Eloisa James, Christi Caldwell, Janna MacGregor, and Erica Ridley - come four original stories that tell a hilarious tale of a Christmas house party that serves up love and scandal in equal measure!

The Duke of Greystoke’s Christmas Revelry is famous throughout the British Isles for its plays, dancing, magical grotto... not to mention scandals leading to the marriage licenses he hands out like confetti.

But not everyone welcomes a visit from Cupid.

Lady Cressida, the duke’s daughter, is too busy managing the entertainments - and besides, her own father has called her dowdy. Her cousin, Lady Isabelle Wilkshire, is directing Cinderella and has no interest in marriage. Lady Caroline Whitmore is already (unhappily) married; the fact that she and her estranged husband have to pretend to be together just makes her dread the party all the more. But not as much as Miss Louisa Harcourt, whose mother bluntly tells her that this is her last chance to escape the horrors of being an old maid.

A house party so large that mothers lose track of their charges leads to a delightful, seductive quartet of stories that you will savor for the Season!"

Again, have I said recently how I'm on a Regency kick? Oh, and it might be September, but it's never too soon to be thinking about Christmas!

A Christmas revelry is held each year by the Duke of Greystone, the book contains stories by several historical romance authors all revolve around the much-acclaimed revelry. Stories range from a brand new love. second chance couples and misunderstandings. They all have happy endings even if the road to the end is somewhat bumpy.

Mistletoe Christmas was delightful. I enjoyed all four stories in the book. I generally don't like Christmas themed romances and mysteries. That's just because that there are so many of them and then I have to figure out which to purchase for my library and not oversaturate our collection.

This has just got to be the very best Yuletide Collection coming out this season! This Christmas Anthology is composed of four fabulously endearing stories written by four of the very best Regency romance writers. Every story is a delightful stand alone romance, yet each one takes place at the same renowned Christmastide house party, with intertwined characters and events. I couldn’t stop at one. I had to continue on to the next wonderful couple, either finding their perfect match or rekindling one. Every story was a delight! I loved this! Well Done!

I have been provided with a copy of Mistletoe Christmas: An Anthology via NetGalley for an impartial review. This box set has the following titles A Mistletoe Kiss by Eloisa James, Wishing Under the Mistletoe by Christi Caldwell, Compromising Under the Mistletoe by Janna MacGregor, and Mischief & Mistletoe by Erica Ridley. All four stories are standalone titles that each take place at The Duke of Greystoke’s Christmas Revelry party so you can read them in any order you prefer. I’ll be updating my review as I finish each title.

A Mistletoe Kiss by Eloisa James

A Mistletoe Kiss centers around the characters Lady Cressida and Lord Darcy de Royleston aka Elias. I just had so much fun reading this novella. It was just so easy to get lost in and I immediately wanted more after turning the last page. I can’t wait to read more stories from this author.

Wishing Under the Mistletoe by Christi Caldwell

Compromising Under the Mistletoe by Janna MacGregor

Mischief & Mistletoe by Erica Ridley

A Mistletoe Kiss by Eloisa James was my favorite in the anthology and should have been the final story I think. I also think this would have been better as a novel as her emotional scars brought upon by her dying father needed more exploration than it got, just as her coming out of her shell I thought needed to be her agency not his and it felt rushed.

The rest of the stories were okay, two second chance stories and another awkward spinster. They are all bound by the abusive dying Duke in James's story's annual obsessive Christmas party.

This is a delightful quartet of novellas written by four gifted historical romance authors. Each novella is set at the same location and time and involves different couples, with the theme and characters weaving seamlessly together. While short and sweet, these stories are not light on romance or tension. They include the best parts of novels and don’t bother with fluff. I would read a full length book of each of these stories. Definitely recommend for those who love holiday stories and historical romances with a bite of heat.

I received an ARC courtesy of NetGalley. The opinions are my own.
