Absolutely delightful! This book is a perfect beach read. I hadn't read the first two books in the series, but that was not necessary to follow the story. It's an enemies-to-lovers, closed-door romance, so maybe not for every fan, but it should definitely resonate with everyone who has been a fan of children's/YA authors.

I hadn't read the first two books in the series yet when I requested this title. However, I've since read the first two books and disliked both. I've been putting this one off since I doubt I'll like it more, and it's time to let it go. If I ever come back to it I'll update this review!

I fully admit that I added Meg Cabot to my list of authors to auto-buy books from a long, long time ago, but that is only because they are SO GOOD. No Words is one of my favorite titles of hers in recent years.

Fans of Meg Cabot will enjoy spending more time on Little Bridge Island, but you do not have to have read the previous books to enjoy this title. This sunny romance will have you shaking off your winter blues in no time.

Meg Cabot's NO WORDS is a quick, fun, and light adult romance that will be a fun read for anyone who loved her YA books. The Florida setting takes center stage in this book and the others in this series, which sets the mood for this beach read. This is a sweet and fast read.

I have been a fan of Meg for years and this was such an easy read. I would read every Little Bridge Island book she wants to give us. The setting, the characters, the storyline were all winners. I wanted a little more drama in this one, but overall so much fun.

No Words follows two rival authors- Jo and Will. The two are united at Little Bridge's newest book festival, where Jo learns that perhaps Will is not the man that she initially thought that he was. He seems genuinely remorseful for his past actions and wants to make them right by Jo.

I had a lot of fun with the setting of this novel. Little Bridge Island is a fantastic place to read about, and I loved the book festival being at the heart of the story. I also did genuinely enjoy the dynamic between Jo and Will. However, there was a lot of immature behavior from Jo. Oftentimes she was downright annoying, and it was something that made the book immensely less enjoyable. Overall, I had fun, but there were a lot of elements of the story that I could have done without and that would have made it a more pleasant reading experience.

I have been reading Meg Cabot for years. And every book I have gone through has been a great reading experience.

No Words was a fun new story. And I truly enjoyed it. But there is just always something about one of her books that makes me nostalgic for the way I felt when I was a teenager reading. My tastes have obviously changed. And I probably couldn't go back to a lot of books I read as a teen. My cynical adult brain just wouldn't read them the same.

But having such a familiar author lets me still have all the warm and fuzzies, but from a much different perspective.

Jo and Will were great characters too. You go into it wanting to hate this man. But slowly you don't know how to feel. This book was very reminiscent to a good Hallmark movie. And I could have totally seen myself watching this curled up on a screen.

I liked cute, funny & adorable. . Hard not to enjoy. Nice characters. Very enjoyable. If something can go wrong it usually does. Fast read.

I read every single Meg Cabot book as a teenager, and still to this day thoroughly enjoy any and all of her books. I appreciate her candidness, but I guess as I've gotten older, I don't appreciate her writing as much. It seems a little young or maybe I'm just getting old!

“Then again, to be a published author, you had to have more than a little confidence in yourself. Otherwise you’d never have the courage to share your writing with the world, much less continue trying to do so after the inevitable rejections and bad reviews.”

I thought that this had parts of it that I found to be fun, but other parts that bordered on a little bit too quirky for me to fully like. There is just something about a grown women sort of un-ironically replacing phrases with cat phrases that was a little weird for me. I also felt like her ability to hold a grudge extended beyond like a normal response to being something that was a bit immature. Individually I liked the characters but felt like this story had a little too many characters and moving parts for me to fully feel immersed. Overall it gave me similar vibes and themes of beach read so I think it was fun to read something similar, but I wasnt in love with the story unfortunately.

I'm a die hard Cabot fan, and I love the world she has created! I feel like I am back with friends and with a community I love.

A cute, light-hearted story that maybe had a little too much cheese-factor for me. I loved the island setting and the idea of rival authors at a book event. However, I never really got invested in the characters or the plot. Too many cliche conversations for my liking.

But if you like romantic comedy that is sugary sweet, this series could be for you!

This Little Bridge Island series is soooo good! I think this one may be my favorite though. The sparks between Jo and Will fly immediately and the romantic tension is thrilling to read. I totally dig her version of the enemies-to-lovers trope and think she handles it so well in this book. Also, I always like her side support characters as they add greater dimension to the books and make them so much more entertaining.

Great reading from beginning to end and so hard to put down. Action packed, emotional roller-coaster filled with witty and engaging charters, dangerous twists and heart racing turns. Really enjoyed this adventure.

A perfect little book from an author who knows her core. An author in need of a quick payday. A book festival in a wonderful cocoon of a setting. A look at the backstabbing that book festivals can produce, and a repentant book critic . It’s a marvelous way to spend a warm afternoon in the world of words.

Not exactly what I was expecting. It was so much more. Can I move to Little Bridge Island because I totally fell in love with it. Also with Cabot’s writing! She totally makes the characters jump off the page and become your best friends. I need to read the other two books in this series.

I'll admit, I liked this one while I was reading it. But the more i think about it, the more problems I find with it. Despite being labeled a romance, the characters don't actually romance for the majority of the book. Will's apology is very poorly explained. Jo was constantly making cat puns, which while cute for a little while, got old very fast. The side characters were flat and forgettable. So while in the moment it was fun (I was also sleep deprived while reading it, so factor that in), I don't feel like I can rate this any higher.

While this is the third book in the series and some characters make an appearance, you do not have to read the prior books to follow along.

This book focuses on Jo and Will who are both authors attending Little Bridge Islands first book festival. The story takes place over 3 days and does feel a bit rushed in how the relationship between Will and Jo develops. The chemistry between the two is great and this is a true enemies-to-lovers story.

Jo has a preconceived notion of Will based solely on an interview he gave in which he disparaged her writing and is so focused on holding a grudge that it takes her a bit to realize he's not the man she thought. Will is a gifted writer but can't seem to find the right words when Jo is around. He is on the festival board and invited her there so he could apologize face-to-face. He tries so hard to redeem himself and show her the man he is. As their characters evolve and interact, the realize they have more in common than they originally thought.

I wasn't a fan of the book within a book concept in that there are some "chapters" from Will's book in the midst of the story. I did enjoy the recurring characters who made an appearance though and I enjoyed the way the Snappettes were featured. The kitty puns got a bit old.

Overall, it was an enjoyable, light-hearted read and a good ending to the series. I enjoyed the Key West setting and it made me want to go on a road trip down to the Keys. Nice quick read and good ending to the week.
