It’s been about six months since a witch coven came into Jessica’s life in homicide and wrecked havoc with her team. Arne her mentor and father figure is gone and new head has taken his place with her own political ambitions.
Normally. Jessica’s squad doesn’t deal with missing persons but her new boss wants her to take case of two missing “influencers” who disappeared after a major rap stars party. Things get more interesting when a body shows up on a frigid beach with markings. What do they mean. Are the two cases connected?
Do not miss this great new twisted ride from Max Seek!

I've read a lot of Scandinavian police dramas and Max Seeck has completely changed the way I like to find myself reading them now. The Witch Hunter will be read in the coming months. Max uses Lisa Yamamoto as bait for the trap that Jessica Niemi needs to find to solve everything and listens to her mother's ghost in her Töölönkatu flat. Bring every ghost available in her world and it serves Jessica as reminders to reflect on what Yusuf and Rasmus also bring to the conference room. Lisa and Jason Nervander have been missing for a long time and Jessica heads the team trying to find them. Max puts people in the way in finding the two love birds. It's really a good read because of this and all the people involved. Good and bad people, just saying mostly bad people Jessica tends to like. But you can read this for yourself. I gave it a 5 out of 5 stars because it changed the way I like to read procedurals from now on.

I love this series! It is hard to wait for the English translation, but once I start reading it,the wait is well worth it.

This one had me traveling in all kinds of directions and the ending took me by complete surprise. I didn’t see that one coming even though I was looking it in the face. I love the main character and even though she is deeply flawed she is very resilient and determined.

A very interesting read. Highly recommended!
