Better than I expected. An island full of secrets and a mysterious lighthouse. ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for a fair review.

I would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for an advance copy in exchange for an honest review. I have always been fascinated by lighthouses, witches, and time travel so I knew I had to read this book. I couldn’t put it down, it sucked me right in. We start in the year 1998 on a remote Scottish island with a single mom and her three daughters fleeing in the night so she can take on a job, paying a mural in a lighthouse. Eventually they learn of local lore, about wildings, children who could look like your own and want to destroy everything around you. This book alternates between 1998, 2021 and in the late 1600s during a witch trial. The stories weak seamlessly together creating one novel you won’t want to put down.
