I think that this book had some really entertaining stories. I found some better than others, but overall a good read. If a person is looking for some smut but doesn't want to read a large book, then this is perfect for them. Plus I love books that are set in past England.

Aphrodite in Bloom is an erotic anthology with individuals with a variety of tastes and proclivities. There are twelve stories with a variety of themes to meet the fantasies of many individuals. The stories vary from a virgin receiving a special gift at a masked ball to a Duke that proposes to erase all debts of a man for one night with his wife,. This erotic anthology should have a story to meet everyone's desires. I recommend this book.

There were so many grammar and spelling mistakes that I couldn't really get past them to actually read. Also, the different stories all had very differently formatted writing, which is fine if it's done by multiple authors but I would at least recommend the editor to somewhat even out the formatting of paragraphs and fonts over the whole book.

This is a book of 12 erotic short stories. There's a little bit of everything. I enjoyed some stories more than others but liked them all. I particularly liked One Night with a Duke where a wife agrees to one night with a duke to settle her husband's debt. I also really enjoyed An Evening of Cards where a french courtesan passes herself around a table during an erotic card game. All the stories had enough naughtiness to keep me interested and reading.
I gave it three stars because although I liked it I didn't love it but I would recommend it.

Aphrodite in Bloom is an historical erotic short story collection. Each of the twelve stories follows new people exploring their sensuality. These include female/female, male/male, and polyamorous relationships. There is also transgender and asexual representation.

I have been reading a story from this collection every day before bed, and it has been such an enjoyable time. I picked it up on a whim, not expecting much, but it impressed me. I am usually not a fan of historical romance, but I did not mind it here. I think the main reason is that it was not traditional. It went where most historical romances don't. I was ecstatic to see the representation within the story (though I cannot speak on its accuracy). Another thing I really loved to see in a erotic anthology is brief descriptions and trigger warnings before each story. If a story isn't for you, the description makes you aware beforehand, and you can move along to the next one.

Though I did love so much of this, I can only rate it four stars. Anthologies in general almost never get five stars ratings from me, simply because not every story will be perfect. Some were definite five stars for me, while others did not work as well. I was sometimes disappointed by the length of the sections as well. Some that I found really interesting were shorter, while others that I found too similar to other sections went of for longer than I would have liked. There were also times where the intimate scenes felt repetitive. Almost like I was reading the same act but with different people.

Overall, I thought this was a great anthology. I recommend it to people looking for a little something spicy to add to their reading.

I found this book to be a pleasant surprise in that it was a little different from what I was expecting. I was anticipating high-heat erotica that revolved purely around sex, and while I do read and appreciate those stories this collection was a bit more than that.
Yes, there was a strong focus on sexual exploration which made for some pretty hot scenes (I was fanning myself during the second one). But the variations also affected the heat levels of each story since that's all subjective to one's personal tastes. However, each story was told in such a lovely way that I was able to enjoy even if it wasn't quite my jam.
I did appreciate the clear content warnings at the start of each story, and I would definitely recommend this to someone who was looking for a more varied collection of erotica that focuses on agency, exploration, and pleasure.

Interesting and a little something for everyone; but a bit too wordy for me. Stories could be shorter to keep interest.

The description is accurate - different strokes for different folks (no pun intended). I enjoyed this little novellas all wrapped up into one delicious set. Anyone who has a taste for erotica will definitely find something to like in this one.

Quick heads up, do not read this book when you are around people.
I am not a fan of erotic and I haven't read many. But oh this was amazing!! what I loved the most was they were short and historical stories. Something for everyone. The character development in such short stories was unbelievably good.

Worth the read!! If you are an erotica lover do read this, and if not, you should give this a try.

I read all the short stories but two (the stories that had girl on girl action is not my cup of tea). Every story had its theme and the author puts a brief warning at the beginning of each story. Short historical erotic stories. Very well written with some kind of plot. Unlike like some erotica stories where the smut factor is guaranteed, these stories were enjoyable and sexy. Each story is different and contains a prelude and warning for some who may not enjoy read that type of story.

Well this was filthy, and delightful. Exactly as promised, it has something for everyone. I also appreciated the little summaries and content warnings at the beginning of each chapter.

This is a good collection of stories to heighten the mood. They’re all from a female perspective so I think it’s more relatable in that sense. The stories all cater to different interests and relationship types.

I made the mistake to read that at my lunch break at work. not that it was bad, but it might have been too sexy for a lunch break!! Some of those stories were really hot!! I enjoy them way more than I thought I would and I have to admit they add some effects on me! Read it, just way to be home...

From the first paragraph, I knew this book would be a good one. I immersed myself into the book from the first chapter and I cannot say enough good things about this book! Honestly amazing! The writing is incredible and the plot is just one to die for. I am absolutely obsessed with this book. My favorite part would have to be the character development throughout the book. Character development is something I look forward to and this book did not disappoint.

Think of a shot of your favourite drink or an espresso. These stories are literally the perfect bit sized sexy picker uppers to get you through your day- or a reading slump. I truly enjoyed the different facets of this book- the inclusivity to passion and just the way these stories were told.

I have to say I enjoyed this book a lot!
Everyone loves a good spicy romance book, and this one had it all with its 11 different stories! Each story was different, and this book contained lgbtq+ representation, which I loved. Like a majority of books, there are some good and bad parts, and in this, there were some stories that did not necessarily pique my interest like the others, but regardless they were still enjoyable. If you are looking for a book full of spicy one-shots, this is perfect for you though not all the stories were the spiciest, it was still as I said before enjoyable.

This period piece provides stories for all types of interest. One thing I found off putting was the warning in the beginning of each story. If I'm reading this book there is an implied warning of subject matter. Otherwise the stories provided variety.
